From the look from the back, I never would have picked this place, because it looked like it was a run down warehouse. I came here with a local. I ordered an oatmilk cappuccino with no added syrup, and it was fantastic! It was ready quickly as well. The menu is the best coffee shop menu that I've seen. It makes it very clear what is in each drink so you can easily pick the best option. The atmosphere is really relaxing as well. Everything is spread out with several different seating areas, comfortable furniture, and dim lighting. I could easily see myself cozying up with a good book or getting some work done. read more

Been here a couple times now and this is probably around the time where I need to give a good review. We've been coming here for their roasted coffee beans and they've been delightful to make at home whether as espresso, Aeropress, or a cold brew. I wanted to write a review with my past experience today. Service was fast today. Compared to the other times I've been here, much of the staff is around the high school age. They're fast, sociable, and pleasant to be around. In other reviews in this restaurant I have not had any of the problems where they get distracted easily while talking to others. Atmosphere was the same as usual, cute and cozy. Music wasn't playing as loud as usual which is a plus Today was the first time I ordered an iced drink from the place as I've always gotten hot drinks. I ordered their holiday special "The Grinch" which is a Matcha Latte with Peppermint syrup. Upon receiving the drink, 60-70% of the drink was over stirred Matcha which created foam. This is a $7-$8 drink and I paid for barely any liquid, a ton of Foam and a bunch of ice. I probably won't be ordering an iced drink anymore. Good flavor, but I barely got anything to drink. read more

Terrible coffee out of a vat. I went in during breakfast time and the coffee is lukewarm and tasteless. I will not be going back.

I got ground coffee to make at work. First, $37.50 for a pound of coffee seems off. Second, its very average coffee, a pound of anything at Kroger across the street is comparable, for $30 less. I like the ambiance and the service is always good. But the food was super disappointing. I ordered a bfast sandwich (for like $4!) and it was clearly one of those tiny frozen ones bought at walmart and heated in a microwave. It was 3 bites worth of food, and not very good. Cute little coffee shack. It's tucked away, but they have that road sign you can barely see. I decided to pop in and try it. Love to support local. They have teamed up with several other businesses and Cary Good Company Cafe pastries and Piper Leaf teas. I like to see that. They have a very open area so you can comfortably social distance if you want to sit inside the cafe. I got a latte (one size only - 16 oz) with almond milk and brown sugar syrup. My Husband got black coffee. I enjoyed mine. It was pretty good. I'd come back for sure. Only downside is no drive thru. read more

My husband and I have been to this coffee shop a couple of times. Pros - Cozy atmosphere. It's a cute coffee shop on the inside. - Great coffee, but not a lot of year-round flavor options. Their seasonal flavors are pretty good, though. - A menu board - They don't have a large selection of pastries, but the ones they do have are really good. Cons - Outside of their pastries, their breakfast sandwiches are awful. Pretty sure they're freezer section Jimmy Deans. I could get better at a gas station. - The service is okay, but their teenage staff does a lot of socializing, and they forget to bring you everything you order. This has happened on more than one occasion, and we weren't even there during a busy hour. - No outdoor seating, but I don't think you'd want it anyway. They're on a more industrial side of town, so it wouldn't be a pleasant view. - Closed on Sunday - No self-serve water - Paper cups I always like to give a place a couple of tries before I write a review because maybe one bad experience was just a fluke, but nope. They're not terrible. If you just want a good cup of coffee or some beans, you'll probably really like them, but for me a great coffee shop isn't complete without some good eats and this place just doesn't deliver. Large drinks only come with one shot of espresso compared to most coffee shops giving 2-3. An extra shot is $2.50 making a basic latte $8.00. That is way to much when there is so much competition for coffee drinks. read more

Popped in for a coffee post-Bigfoot's little donuts to caffeinate for the rest of the day. I had a spot of trouble finding this place - it's pretty far off and not super easily accessible from the parkway, and even when driving through the south Huntsville neighborhoods it borders, it's not super clear where this place is. There's decent signage for it, but it's basically impossible to access without driving over a road that needs a good bit of work. No matter, I figured it out eventually. The inside is more spacious than I thought it'd be - there's a great deal of space for several groups of people to scatter about and hang out. It was a bit dim the day I visited, so maybe not the best reading nook, but it would definitely be a cozy place to catch up with a friend or work on the computer. Not super classy or hip like a lot of other coffee places in Huntsville, just a good, homey, comfortable spot with big, cushy furniture. I wound up with an iced coffee flavored with a chocolate macadamia syrup. It was pretty tasty. Maybe a little strong on the coffee side for me (as one of those annoying people who basically likes their drinks as desserts with a hint of coffee flavoring), but the ratio of ice to drink was perfect and I enjoyed the strong chocolate flavor. I also picked up a pumpkin cream cheese/cheesecake muffin for later, as it looked too yummy to pass up. It actually wound up being kind of mediocre: the cream cheese topping was good, but the body of the muffin itself was quite dry and didn't have a ton of flavor. I don't really hold that against them, though, as I believe it was actually a Good Company Cafe product that they just offer so their patrons can have some kind of snack. What I do hold against them is the service, which wasn't necessarily terrible but was rather disappointing. I'm a pretty big coffee neophyte, trying to work my way into "getting it." I walked in with truly little to no idea of what I wanted, except something cold and sweet. I was really hoping a barista would be willing to talk with me briefly about what they offered and how they could make a drink to my liking. I'm not entitled, and I swear I wouldn't take up more than 2-3 minutes of their time; I just wanted to try to figure out what would suit me best. I also made sure no one was behind me in line or walking into the store so I wouldn't hold anyone up with my questions. However, when I asked the barista what he'd recommend to someone who wants something quite sweet, he growled at me that he wouldn't know because he doesn't like sweet coffee. I was taken aback and didn't know what to say next, and he just sort of stared at me with a flat affect. After several exceedingly awkward seconds, he said, "We have a chocolate macadamia flavor that's really popular, I guess you could try that." I didn't want to feel burdensome for any more time, so I agreed. Thankfully, I did wind up liking it well enough. I dunno, it wasn't that he was horrible to me or anything, I just didn't feel particularly welcomed or taken care of during my visit. Considering the rarity with which I get coffee, that matters to me. I would come back if this place was a friend's choice, but I'll likely continue my coffee exploration elsewhere for the time being. read more

At long last I made it to Roosters Crow Coffee Roasters. Wow it spacious, low lit with the most comfortable seating anywhere. There's plenty of table seating for large groups. And a spacious outdoor section. I ordered a Cortado, (double shot espresso with steamed milk) which is not on the menu. The barrista was more than happy to make it for me, and it was very good. I've been buying Roosters Crow coffee for awhile at a local farmers market. Since I've just returned from a long trip I decided to look this place up and get some whole beans. TIP: They're happy to grind your whole bean coffee for you. Of Note: while most coffee roasting establishments almost always package their coffee beans in less than a pound bags. Roosters Cross sticks to the traditional 1lb packaging. So there's this chocolate chip cookie here. It's pretty darn good both in flavor and in size. There's a noticeable hint of salt which really makes any cookie, rise above the masses. Delicious. Overall Roosters Crow is the most accommodating, with excellent varieties of whole bean coffees, and the best ambiance, and most comfortable seating, I've been to in a long time. 5 Solid Stars read more

From Atlanta, first time, first thing I notice going inside is the atmosphere. Very comfortable, cozy place. It has sofas, long tables for large groups for studies, etc. I had the dark roast Colombian with cream and SUgar free rasberry. I also had a sausage eggs and cheese English muffin.
