    Atmosphere

Been here a couple times now and this is probably around the time where I need to give a good review. We've been coming here for their roasted coffee beans and they've been delightful to make at home whether as espresso, Aeropress, or a cold brew. I wanted to write a review with my past experience today. Service was fast today. Compared to the other times I've been here, much of the staff is around the high school age. They're fast, sociable, and pleasant to be around. In other reviews in this restaurant I have not had any of the problems where they get distracted easily while talking to others. Atmosphere was the same as usual, cute and cozy. Music wasn't playing as loud as usual which is a plus Today was the first time I ordered an iced drink from the place as I've always gotten hot drinks. I ordered their holiday special "The Grinch" which is a Matcha Latte with Peppermint syrup. Upon receiving the drink, 60-70% of the drink was over stirred Matcha which created foam. This is a $7-$8 drink and I paid for barely any liquid, a ton of Foam and a bunch of ice. I probably won't be ordering an iced drink anymore. Good flavor, but I barely got anything to drink.

A great local coffee shop that roasts its own coffee and provides a excellent ambiance. Service is always excellent and friendly and definitely worth the visit when you looking for a little pick me up.

Cute little coffee shack. It's tucked away, but they have that road sign you can barely see. I decided to pop in and try it. Love to support local. They have teamed up with several other businesses and Cary Good Company Cafe pastries and Piper Leaf teas. I like to see that. They have a very open area so you can comfortably social distance if you want to sit inside the cafe. I got a latte (one size only - 16 oz) with almond milk and brown sugar syrup. My Husband got black coffee. I enjoyed mine. It was pretty good. I'd come back for sure. Only downside is no drive thru.

Kind Staff. Open spacious environment. The taste of this coffee was so crisp and fresh, the flavor that every coffee lover needs in the morning!

Awesome little hidden gem in Huntsville! Coffee is delicious and the employees are great! I got the pecan latte and it is one of the best coffees I've ever had. The gentleman behind the desk with the beard was super helpful. (sorry I didn't catch your name. ) will definitely visit this place a couple more times before I leave!

At long last I made it to Roosters Crow Coffee Roasters. Wow it spacious, low lit with the most comfortable seating anywhere. There's plenty of table seating for large groups. And a spacious outdoor section. I ordered a Cortado, (double shot espresso with steamed milk) which is not on the menu. The barrista was more than happy to make it for me, and it was very good. I've been buying Roosters Crow coffee for awhile at a local farmers market. Since I've just returned from a long trip I decided to look this place up and get some whole beans. TIP: They're happy to grind your whole bean coffee for you. Of Note: while most coffee roasting establishments almost always package their coffee beans in less than a pound bags. Roosters Cross sticks to the traditional 1lb packaging. So there's this chocolate chip cookie here. It's pretty darn good both in flavor and in size. There's a noticeable hint of salt which really makes any cookie, rise above the masses. Delicious. Overall Roosters Crow is the most accommodating, with excellent varieties of whole bean coffees, and the best ambiance, and most comfortable seating, I've been to in a long time. 5 Solid Stars

I really enjoy this place! The atmosphere is just like sitting at home on your cozy couch and enjoying your favorite cup of joe. The blueberry muffins and white chocolate latte are favorite options. I can't wait to try more!

Awesome local coffee shop in Huntsville, Alabama. Freshly roasted beans, great company, nicely decorated, great music, and great customer service. Definitely better than Starbucks too!

Terrible coffee out of a vat. I went in during breakfast time and the coffee is lukewarm and tasteless. I will not be going back.

The breakfast sandwiches and BLT are decently executed, but I'm REALLY not a fan of their bagels. Their bread (particularly the baguette) is fantastic, though. Note: it sells out quickly. You can still pick up your to-go order without having to deal with people. They now have a cute bookshop inside. They make their own cream cheese! Cons: If I'm paying $1.50 for an avocado add on, PLEASE don't let it be oxidized and brown and gross. This makes me sad. Parking is still a nightmare. See above about the bagels. I'm prepared for the hate I'm about to get, but I prefer Bruegger's...which is sad, as I'm sure they're produced and come in frozen. Prices have gone up, but that's to be expected. I would love, however, the option to not add on a side for less moolah. I don't want their straight from the bag chips, random baby carrots, or (somewhat icky) fruit. Depending on the timing, you may be able to get a seat. Or you may be fighting a soccer mom with 4 screaming toddlers just to pick up a to go order. Still a fan, but know what you're getting.

Same owners, and I think a few carryover products, such as the creme brûlée. It's on the end of the large, somewhat sparse shopping center just past Publix -- the same one that contains Lawler's on the end closest to the road. Given the size and heretofore relative under-utilization of the shopping center, parking is ample. The inside is very pretty, well air-conditioned, quiet, and strikes me as a great place to work remotely, do some creative writing or drawing, or have a lowkey hangout with a friend, family member, or small group. My mom and I went on opening day after a walk at the nearby greenway. The menu has standard coffeeshop offerings and a decent selection of snacks and pastries, many of which have a slightly more upscale, almost Parisian feel to them. Reflecting the somewhat more upscale vibe, prices are perhaps a teeny bit high, but nothing you'd really raise a huge eyebrow at. They didn't have any specialty drinks the day we went, but there are a number of syrups to add to your drink and since visiting I've seen them advertise a few concoctions like a banana bread latte. Yum! I'll have to come back and try one. As it was, I got an iced latte with dark chocolate and salted caramel flavors. My mom got a bacon and egg puff pastry for us to snack on. Each item came out in a reasonable time frame. There's a small bar on one wall that has coffee add-ins and other things you might want like hot sauce packets, extra sugar, etc. It's a nice set-up! Both items were pretty good. I didn't get much salted caramel flavor in my drink but the chocolate was rich and chocolatey; I just wish it had been stirred together a bit more, as the top layer of the drink was very milky and the bottom was heavy on the chocolate. Some self-stirring helped but I think it ideally would've been mixed as it was first added to the drink. Still, the coffee itself was smooth and not at all bitter or acidic. A nice beverage! The puff pastry was tasty and very flaky. It DID come out super hot and had a certain sponginess that made me think it had hit the microwave before it was served. I still definitely think it was made in house based on the quality and flavor, but a little less time being reheated might've helped with the texture of the pastry and the scalding temp of the interior contents. That aside, it was loaded with bacon and overall quite enjoyable. I will certainly return in the future to try out more pastries and specialty drinks. Perhaps this could become a new writing hangout for me! :)

Getting new tires in Athens the other week, I (sadly) noticed an obituary on their bulletin board for Cheryl Prince Sendowski who owned the coffee shoppe from 1998 until it was sold in 2013. This was one spot my Birthday Club group met at in the late 80s and early 90s. We enjoyed their simplistic sandwiches and iced teas. I'm not a coffee snob by any stretch, and their coffee doesn't evoke great memories for me; however, I do recall it being "fair trade," even back then. The sandwiches were good, the place was nice to relax in, and the back patio was even more eclectic with various statuary and just "stuff" hanging from the fence. Sandwiches were nothing you can't make at home, but they were good, edible, quick and filling! The community bulletin board was always clustered with fliers and business cards for music lessons, missing pets, and pressure washers. It's a local's place for locals and had one regular, Mike Maples who was conferred with the title "Mayor" of Ole Town Coffee. The gazebo out front is quaint to sit in. Do know parking is tight. It's near Austin High School and behind a small gas station/mini-mart. There's a spacious parking lot out front and a small patio for nicer days than the day I visited. It was super quiet and cozy inside, and it smelled great! I saw one person working on his laptop, and I'd definitely agree that this is a great place to hunker down and focus. It's mostly a table and chair setup but there's a couch too, iirc. Service was a highlight -- the barista was super kind and bubbly and eager to help with all my questions. She listened to what I liked and provided several excellent recommendations. I can't remember the exact name of the drink I got because I delayed too long between visiting and writing this review, but it was a specialty mocha of some sort, either the Smithy Special or the Beam Bonfire. I'd guess the Smithy Station as I'm not usually super into marshmallow stuff. Whatever I had, it was sweet, smooth, creamy, beautiful, and an appropriate size for the fairly low price.
