This coffee house is a pretty good place on the other side of town... This coffee shop location makes their LATTES with 2 percent and don't even ask if you want whole or half n half I asked them after I could taste the 2percent which is basically poison (2 percent contains Palmitate), which is palm oil and who knows what else. I told the cashier and she basically just gave me a stare. Lattes are made with whole milk and a Breve would be made with half and half . We were quite surprised how delicious they were. The place was clean and ambience was cute/rustic. My experience at Beans and Brews at Riverside drive St.George Utah on shift on Sunday July 19 2026 at 2.30 pm was horrible. I asked for iced coffee non sweet meaning no flavor or any sweet stuff inside my coffee,just plain coffee with ice . They gave me blended coffee that was awfully sweet, I came back and showed them they started liking and defending each other making me(customer ) ridiculous. I said to try my coffee and I said that for health reason I can't drink seeet ,they started laughing. I am going to report this ,it's way too serious to let it go. Where is cus service? Excellent coffee! I like a "fancy" coffee (i.e. lattes, macchiatos, etc.) but am not super picky about the coffee itself. My husband is the complete opposite and wants his coffee strong and with just a tiny amount of real half and half. So normally when I get a coffee, I don't get one for him because I know it's not going to be appreciated. But after sitting with friends enjoying our coffee at this shop, I decided to bring one back to the hotel for him. He thoroughly enjoyed it and even wanted to go back the next day for his morning cup. The service staff were friendly, accommodating and the tables were very clean. read more

Good place to sit and wait if you're waiting on a Salt Lake Express shuttle (the new office is nearby but doesn't have water or coffee anymore). Small place with only a few tables but it seems all have power outlets, and they do have very good wifi. Also seems like 95% of the business is either to-go or just rudely busting in to use their bathroom then walking right back out (despite this their bathrooms are in good shape). Coffee is around Starbucks prices, a little expensive but it was good and strong. Virtually identical menu, they have the fruity drinks for the hot weather and etc. read more

Pretty disappointing. First, I want to say the staff was wonderfully kind and pleasant, five stars go to the staff members. The coffee was okay, not great, but I'm not going to complain; but the food was a bit disgusting. See photos. If you love soggy bagels with factory made egg patties, then rock 'n roll, this place is for you! As for the croissant, who knows where they got that thing? My girlfriend and I first went to our two favorite coffee shops prior, but the wait and lines were out the door, so we decided to try someplace different. "Hey babe, look, no lines at this place, let's give it a try!" Ak! Now I know why they had no line. Sorry, I hate giving bad reviews, but they worked hard to earn this one. I can hear management saying, "Stop complaining, that's the same thing you get at Starbucks." My answer to that is "Yup, you're right, which is why I never go to Starbucks." I've only ever had the coffee (Carmel Cielo), but today I tried their new plant based energy drink. I come in 6 flavors (I think, or 7?). I got the sparkling Gold Rush. You can also choose blended and whipped (with creme) high caffiene so I only got my Cielo half caff. The cold energy drink was so delicious, I might even stop drinking coffee all together! I drank the Gold Rush too fast for a good picture. Go try it out!! read more

I just have an affinity towards Beans & Brews. I almost feel guilty for cheating on Perks. It's just that damn cookie monster frappe is like crack to me. I was so excited to see them in St. George. I've only been to this location once and have found the staff to be super friendly. I didn't see the cookie monster on the menu so I asked and they had no problem making it. So just fyi to check the website for specialty drinks. Their espresso is very bold and very smooth but slightly bitter. I pretty much only come here for a treat. Otherwise, I go to Perks for my day to day no sprinkles coffee. read more

My one complaint though is that I wasn't able to pay for my coffee using my $5 in app reward along with the funds that I had loaded onto my Beans card in the app. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me that I have to use a separate form of payment when using a reward. Judge them first on their namesake. Stopped in to sample their coffee. While Utah is not coffee country, when you hang out the shingle there is no room for mediocre coffee. Coffee drinkers expect more. Along with better than average comes a knowledge not just of coffees, but beans too. This is expected if beans is in your company name. House blend is pretty mild. Needed 2 shots of espresso to stand up and be bold. I purchased 2 bags of coffee beans. As a new establishment they need a loyalty card to encourage repeat business. Coffee can be had in Lins, Smiths, Barnes & Noble...all in their vicinity. They were doing a brisk drive through business. My suggestions: Staff knowledge of coffee and beans (training), Price beans competitively, put blinds/window covers to cut down harshness/heat of sun, put prints/posters up that reinforce your company name and educate your customers on the product. Group coffees by strength, break down blends*, put up a map showing where coffee is grown. Question where is the history of the company? How socially responsible are their coffee purchases (small growers, coops of growers)? Who roasts for them? How often? Beans & Brew gets a free pass from me. I love small businesses and want them to have time to get their footing and succeed. I will not judge them on food. With Smiths, Lins, Maverick and Kneaders (coming) having plenty of food and choice, let B&B stay in their lane with a fair evaluation. Good luck to them, and welcome. We each had a sandwich, and both were basically tasteless and not very satisfying, 1 coffee which tasted fine but was warm not hot, and a muffin which was basically a chunk of white cake with a lot of frosting and totally unsatisfactory. We won't return. read more

I really love this place. I'm not from St George but I've been in town visiting family and I'm not a huge Starbucks girl, so a Beans & Brews is super welcome for me. I love their iced mocha options and my boyfriend really enjoys the revolver. I'm also shocked at how good their food really is! The cheese danish they have is TO DIE FOR IT'S SO DELICIOUS. Now onto the baristas. The past three days I've been in here it's been super early. So early you're still blinking sand from your eyes and falling asleep standing. People can be extremely irritable at such early hours but everyone in here is so pleasant but not overly chipper (we all know the type). Hailey is the best - we dealt with her the most and she's so helpful and kind. And for some reason seeing her face just made everyone's morning a little better?? She was great, basically. And the manager of the store is also super sweet. If you have the time please give these guys your business and support. They deserve it! read more

This is the only Beans and Brew that I've been to that isn't great. Their service is always slow, whether you go inside or go through the drive through. The employees aren't all that friendly and seem bothered by having to take time to help you instead of what task they were working on. I love this coffee house but lately when i get a little whipped cream on my hot coffee they don't fill up my coffee high at all. I understand you need to leave room for the whipped cream but my cup was barely 3/4 full more like 1/2 full. Great service though! I must say I was really looking forward to trying this new location, and having an option to the Monopoly that Starbucks seems to have on the area. ​In all fairness, it does take a few weeks for new locations for ANY such store to get in sync. But I was really disappointed. ​First I wanted to try one of your breakfast sandwiches. When I asked which might be recommended, I was told that the gal helping me does not eat eggs, and she had no idea. I then asked what might be the most popular, and she said all of them. Finally I just picked one. Then I asked what flavors I could get a blended Frappuccino in, and an exasperated voice read off the list very quickly. So I just decided on the Vanilla, no whip. Once I got to the window, the gal was very nice. But a hurried gentleman stepped in front of her and asked if I wanted whip. I again said no thank you, and the drink was handed abruptly to me. Then the sandwich was handed to me and off I went. Results?....................The Frappuccino separated into Ice and super sweet liquid below in 10 minutes. This made it very difficult to drink, and I had to keep trying to re-blend with my straw!!! Not creamy at all. Very watery. ​The sandwich? Small and not very hot. It had just egg and a slice of ham on a dry, stale bagel. I was doing extra time chewing and trying to break up a glacier in my Frappuccino cup. ​The service? I (and most people) dont care if the server personally eats eggs or not. Proper training would let them know what the difference is in the "yummy" offerings, and how to present them verbally. ​ ​With Einstein Bagel serving delicious bagel breakfast sandwiches just minutes away, and Starbucks serving long standing, creamy frapps just up the street, this place better up its game in a big way.
