Small drive up coffee shack. Went early in the morning and ordering was odd. Paying was awkward because obviously you pay before they make it but I gave her my card to pay and she asked "do you want to leave a tip? I can do percentages or dollar amount". Just felt awkward so I tipped more than normal because I don't want anything to happen to my drink lol. read more

I was at perks Sunday at about 11:30 in the morning. There were two cars in front of mine and one car on the other side. After 15 minutes no one had received their order. After about 20 minutes, with still no one getting their coffee, I decided to get out of line. Not really sure what was going on, but waiting over 15 minutes for a coffee in a drive through is not acceptable. I visit the area regularly and will drive to River Rock from now on. read more

We were on our way to Bryce Canyon, and in needing some caffeine, we saw that Perks! was nearby. I was surprised that this was just a little kiosk, but since there was already a long line of cars, I was excited to check them out! They have a breakfast and lunch menu (pastries, bagels, sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc.), as well as nice coffee/smoothie/drink options. I had the Chunky Monkey, which was prepared with chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel, requesting this to be extra hot - this was absolutely delicious! Super strong with being able to taste all the flavors! Yum! Staff was super friendly and welcoming! First, the line in the drive thru was short yet the time for waiting was 20-35 minutes, once we got to the actual window to order which was a bit high the wait to order was 10-15 minutes, and the order took 15-20 minutes, the ambiance is alright, theres nothing special just a small tallish building, and the drinks were good, we got 2 coffees, I personally got the German Chocolate, rich, flavorful, and light. read more

What a cute little spot! Admittedly, I have no idea what is in this town. Driving from Page to Vegas, we came across this little town, visited this spot for our caffeine fix, and the store across the street for fresh donuts! If you're also driving through, here's a few tips that may make your trip more successful. *The location is drive thru only. No interior access or public restrooms that I'm aware of. *They accept Apple Pay (yay) *They have an impressive amount of non-dairy alternatives *Don't be afraid to ask a questions (I was able to modify my cortado to be created with the same ingredients as one of their flavored signature lattes. As some have mentioned do not come here if you are in a hurry. The wait time can take a second HOWEVER once you get to the front things get better. The customer service was great! Drinks - Hot Latte - tasted like warm milk!!! - Iced Latte - had flavor A little confused on why a hot latte would have no coffee flavor while the iced one has plenty. Bottom line I am sure they have amazing drinks but I will go somewhere else for coffee. read more

Typically I would rate this place with 5 stars as we frequent it whenever we are in town. This time, however, we were hauling a 26' trailer, along with our F250, and decided to pull into our favorite place. We were traveling west and entered the parking lot and pulled into what would appear "the wrong direction". Keep this in mind, there are no signs stating what direction you must enter, AND there were absolutely no vehicles on either side of this coffee shack... there were two employees leaning up against their counters doing nothing. As we pulled in, a dark haired girl opened the window and stated "hey guys, I'm going to have to ask you to turn around and come the other way". I pointed behind us and she said "I can't have you blocking traffic" I tried to reason with her by saying there is no one here, however she did not budge. We did not have room to flip around in the parking lot and just decided to continue on our way. I understand rules... my problem was the way she handled her customer. She could have greeted us with a "Hello, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience, but due to safety regulations, or our store policy, or whatever the reason, we are not allowed to serve vehicles that enter from this direction ". Interestingly, whenever we travel, I seek out local coffee places. I prefer not to go to the Coffee Giants, if I don't have to, because more times than not they treat you like a number. I guess this is the way of the world now... people don't have to be polite, or considerate of their customers. This behavior is what causes customers to not return... They lost a sale today and lost the opportunity to shine a positive light on this business. read more

The coffee is good, yet don't even think about stopping unless you have plenty of time. Not once in the last three months have I gotten my coffee in less then 30 minutes (even when there is no line). The staff needs better training. She embarrassed one of my colleagues by telling him she didn't know what he was talking about & she was confused when he ordered a drink right off the menu. After all she gave him an entirely different drink. She was cute and all yet needs trained. read more

First time stopping at this drive thru coffee spot on the way home to Cali. Loved the two-way drive thru, and the server/barista was super friendly and helped us with our order. One Chunky monkey (LRG), and one white knight (Med). As an avid Starbucks member--I must say, this was a great tasting coffee, that truly tastes like coffee (sorry not sorry SB)! Drinks are pretty good, but not sure you want to stop here if you are in a hurry (fortunately I was not). Made two visits - the first took a while but there were a few people in line and I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't think too much about it. They were nice enough to give me a card for a free drink for the wait, so I made a 2nd visit the next day before heading out of town. There was only one car ahead of me when I pulled up - and I waited behind them for over 10 minutes. By the time I got my drink and pulled away it had been exactly 20 minutes. Seems like a nice place and I felt sorry for what looked like the only girl working, but way too long of a wait. read more

Ordered the "Caramel Macchiato," which the barista said is really just a caramel latte. VERY sweet. Not much coffee flavor, more like caramel milk. Very nice and quick staff. Bummer the coffee is so expensive ($8) with such little flavor, should be worth about $4. At least it looked pretty! read more

Place packs big delicious coffee for a small place hidden in nearby zion! Apple maps will place this shop on the wrong side of the street. It's actually across the grocery store. When i saw the shop i was skeptical about it but once i tried their coffee it was spectacular! Im def picky w coffee but their balance was perfect, specially w an iced drink bc it will get watered down. I also ordered matcha latte and it was too sweet maybe for my taste though. Ideal local drive thru coffee a few minutes from our air bnb! We stopped here for cold brew before heading to Zion. Girl with tattoos and red hair was very friendly and made sure she got the order right. Only con was the oat milk used was the sweetest I've tasted, not sure what brand is used. This coffee shop is amazing. The coffee always tastes great and there are several options to choose from. (If you like sweet, get the iced white knight!) Also the baristas are so nice! One of my favorite people to see here is Dylan. He is always so kind and personable and he makes the best coffee. My best friend and I always look forward to seeing him. This is 10/10 the best place to get coffee in Hurricane. If you're headed to Zion I would recommend Perks over the coffee shops in the park. I've tried plenty of matchas from multiple states and theirs is honestly one of the best. I got an iced matcha with vanilla and I have nothing bad to say other than it being on the slightly sweet side. I'm a sucker for anything with avocado in it, so I knew that this would be a hit. It most certainly was! So refreshing and of course... "tropical"! Well hey, what did you expect?! But honestly; this was one of those smoothies that was so good that I finished it within literal minutes. And then, couldn't stop sucking on the damn straw afterward. I had to get every little sip out of that cup! It was so good that I came back the next day after hiking in Zion. This time around, I got the Bahama Mama smoothie. It too was so tasty! It was so thick and creamy. The value is spot on here too. The closest thing to this in my hood would be Jamba Juice. And while I do enjoy them, I would probably trade them in for a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Will definitely be coming back here again when I come back to Cedar City.

I usually give this pace 5 stars! My family goes all the time and when I'm in town I go everyday. I was just informed after a purchase of a disgusting chai that they have switched to pump chai! YUCK! This morning I sadly drove to another coffee place! I hope they consider switching back to what they have always made customer happy with! I don't know why you would switch a product after using another great one for years! Sad day! Perks has always been a favorite of mine! Really didn't know how to use the computer and had to ask the other girl to help her, and when she gave me the total of $14.53 I gave her a $10 bill and a five dollar bill. And she had no clue on how much change to give me back. I had to tell her how much change to give me and she still didn't know how to count it out until the other girl came over and helped her and said, look, it says right here how much change to give the customer. And she still did not know how to count back the change correctly. It was unbelievable. And then my order was a Matcha green tea with peanut butter, and I didn't notice it until I left that they put no peanut butter in it. So I got charged for something I didn't get. Pretty ridiculous service. If that girl sitting in the restaurant in the corner was the manager, shame on her. I don't know who she was, but apparently she worked there.
