I tried this independent coffee shop for the first time and found my nirvana (apologies to Kurt Cobain). The vibe inside of the cafe is soothing, and they ably made a blonde cortado for me. They also made me a homemade egg, cheese, and sausage croissant for me. Both were quite delicious. As a nice bonus, they offer a customer loyalty program. This was my first visit to the Silo Square area, and given how nice my experience was, I plan on returning. read more

Daaaaaang!!! Why you so pricy, Beans and Leaves? Ouch. More like ya beans be leaving ya. Okay I got a medium fancy latte beverage. That medium drink was $7.85!!! Buuuut okay I got a latte and got it with oat milk. So let's be reasonable and talk about a basic black coffee. Okay okay that'll be reasonable, right? Wellllll, a medium decaf black coffee was $4.35. Wait, what? Okay well surely just a simple hot chocolate is reasonable? A large hot chocolate with almond milk gonna run ya $5.75!!! Get outta here!! You add in a muffin, a scone, and a cinnanin twist (all of which are tiny) and you're looking down at a bill of $37! That is crazy. Is it good? Yeah. Definitely. It's a very nice, cozy, local joint. We like it here. A lot. But we ain't coming more than once a year at these prices. I recommend you try the place as long as you understand what you're getting into from a price standpoint. Very cute place, seemingly well staffed. Cappuccino was crafted with attention by a young man who responded properly when I asked for 145 degrees. The drink was a B-, stepping above a C only because he attempted to texture and even pour a leaf...which didn't happen. The Bacon, Egg, & Cheese was heated to the point of cooking the cheese, solidifying the egg, and removing all memory of moisture from the croissant. Don't tell the French what's going on here or a dozen yellow vested protesters will descend. I'm being a bit snooty but because the place could be great but gives off the 'we're just a hobby for someone who said "wouldn't it be nice to have a coffee house?"' The flavored coffees are an early indication and it's obvious there isn't much more than a half hour of training before a new employee is allowed to touch the espresso machine to make a customer's drink. Thanks, but not worth the extra drive time unless meeting a friend or coworker. read more

Good ambiance and adequate and comfortable seating for visiting, reading or playing chess and checkers. Nice patio for sitting outside during good weather. It's been about 10 months since I've been here. It's been that long because it's so expensive for what it is! I love that we have a local and locally owned coffee shop joint in Southaven but my brothers and sisters in Christ it's 4.35 for a medium decaf coffee. (I just edited this price as I had it wrong [4.95] in my first go around) Friendly staff and accommodating of our special order for a not crazy hot hot chocolate with almond milk (5$ plus .70 for the almond milk) and a medium King Cake Latte with oat milk ($7.10 plus .75 for oat milk) definitely a fun tasty treat but holy sticker shock Batman. Cute cozy interior definitely 5 stars and the baked goods we got today (scone, cinnamon twist, muffin) were tasty and warmed up. I do like it here, believe me I do, but I just can't justify coming here more than 1-2 times a year (as I said it's been 10 months since my last visit). So on another 10-12 months you can look for me to darken your doorstep yet again. Oh - and this time the cups/ lids weren't leaking so that's a plus. read more

Stopped in with my daughter and niece. Ordered waffle cones and paid. $15.50 for two waffle cones. I thought that was a bit pricey. Get to the counter and the lady said "we're out of cones right now is a cup ok" -- "uhhh sure" then says "just one scoop" to which I replied "umm whatever comes on a cone." Long story short is they are charging $7.75 for a scoop of gelato. I'm completely dumb founded. They liked the gelato but no way we're paying that again. read more

The shop is nicely decorated and is a nice place to sit and relax. The staff was kind and the drinks my wife and I ordered were delivered quickly. My wife ordered a chai latte. It was nothing fabulous. After the tea bag of chai tea was allowed to steep the drink was mediocre. She was able to finish it. My coffee however, is another story. I ordered a "single origin pour over." The employee behind the counter replied "I'd recommend the house blend. It's the same coffee." First, why is single origin on the menu and an employees claims it's the same beans as a blend? Second, the coffee I was given was a drip coffee that was so sour I couldn't drink it. I've started going here in January and drive around 20/25 minutes to get here! That alone should speak that it is sooo worth it! The coffee is amazing and I love the availability of sugar free syrups! The loaded teas are pretty good! But the pastry and breakfast sandwiches are so so good! I have heard of places "charge for water" I have never been to one to, this place charges 99c for a large Tap water. Yes, tap water, 73c for a small water too. Terrible business practices, the environment looks nice, it's a shame they have poor practices read more

$10 for a medium mediocre latte?? Will not be back. This was a once and done place to visit.

Stopped in for coffee and it was really good. I like to support local businesses. However, almost $9.00 for a large latte is a bit much.

I LOVE this place. The atmosphere is comfy and cozy. Great place to get a coffee and read a book. They have the best coffee I've ever had! The staff are very friendly. Their teas are amazing as well. I definitel recommend this to all my coffee and tea loving friends. Only thing that would make it better was if there was a book store nearby. The tables all have interesting activities set up. One is set up like a chess board. Give them a try and you'll probably want to come here every day! read more

Loaded teas are super sugary with lots of ice. The macrons smelled like they've been in the refrigerator for a long time, and tasted chalky. Chicken empanada was okay, a bit bland. Two teas, empanada, and 4 macrons were 40 dollars! read more
