Needless to say we were terrified of everything. But on Dec 21, Dr Charlie Yang and his team went in and fixed it. .......fast forward We then had to start PT and my husband was needless to say, healing at an amazing rate on his own. We chose Ascent as his PT therapy. From day one, Will was amazing. Not pushy, worked at my husbands pace. Now my husband had been treated for a form of let's call it 'neuropathy' because nobody ever gave us an answer in CA for years. Where he would wake up with cramping and could barely walk. He was on two medications for six years. Will told us about DRY NEEDLING which is not allowed in CA. And my husband tried it. ...... One session- no cramps. We cried. My husband continues his therapy, he has just started playing golf on a senior league after 3 years of no golf. He is completely OFF the medications he was taking from CA, our GP here is thrilled. He will continue the dry needling as needed. This place is clean, kind, a great place to come. (Even after a wife make a wrong phone call-again, I am so sorry) Thank you Ascent. You have answered my prayers. He's playing GOLF!!

It has been a long road to find the right fit for my parents. This place truly had my mom in tears…read moreover the fact that both her and my dad can live in the same building and have different needs. Extremely different needs. Mom not needing any help and Dad recently having a stroke needing their long term care area. The compassionate sales team to the amazing care my dad has receive so far has brought me here to review. I saw that some people maybe didn't have the best experience but I must say we have had nothing but praise for this place. My mom has an apartment with amazing views of the ponds/ acreage and she doesn't have to leave the building to go see Dad in skilled nursing. She brings him to her independent dining room a few times a week to eat with him and get him out of the nursing home ( which has huge rooms with great views). I can keep going on and on about this place and how amazed we are. Thank you Meridian Lakewood!

This being our first experience with putting a loved one in a hospice facility was quite traumatic and emotional. Our father was treated with gentle, caring respect and dignity. I found the major key to having this hard time made a bit easier is assuring full involvement, communication and understanding of end of life care. You cannot expect your loved one to have a nurse at any given second. You must pay for a full time 24 hour private nurse if that is your expectation. The staff has several patients to tend to and they do a wonderful job. Loosing my father was one of the worst moments of my life. I miss him every day and grieve still to this day, he passed on March 23rd. I receive phone calls from the bereavement counselor and mailers offering a lot of resources to help cope with loss of a loved one. This facility certainly does not have the chandelier "AWE" when you go upstairs, but the love and care mean much more than that. Key point to success is to be involved with your loved one until the end. You cannot just drop off and leave as you do with your day care for a child. I would have given a 5 star however, I am a firm believer that there is always room for improvement. Thank you to all of the staff at Meridian

It is expansive, clean, modern, and comfortable, in a beautiful pastoral setting near vail, colorado. It has virtually every modern treatment modality. They offer transcranial magnetic stimulation. They offer stellate ganglion blocks, they offer ketamine treatment and they offer EMDR. They even have horses. Sensory, deprivation chambers, indoor and outdoor pools, and hot tubs, art therapy, a world class gym. Great food. I only interacted with the veterans and First Responders treatment crew, but they seemed Knowledgeable, genuinely caring and competent.

Where do I start... They promised "cutting edge technology", "highly experienced therapist",…read more"personalized classes," and "world-renowned doctors". What I got was not what I paid for, nor what I expected. Did I get a beautiful location? Yes. Did I get my room cleaned and my bed made every day? Yes, and that was nice! Plus, my laundry was done once a week, which was great! Did I make some great friends? Yes! However, did I get signed up for TMS? No! Did I get all of the ketamine sessions that I paid extra for? No! By the time that they put me on the schedule, I paid for 4, but only got 3 because they scheduled me for my 4th one day before my exit, which, for those of you who understand a psychedelic hangover, should have never happened! Did I get TMS, which I had asked for from the very beginning, numerous times? No! By the time they finally listened to me, it was too late! Did I get a highly experienced therapist? No! I got a therapist whose last job was as a high school counselor, and who was so bad that people would literally walk out of her classes, and if they saw that she was teaching the class before it started, they would turn around and walk away! That was who I got assigned as a therapist! She sucked and was too busy reciting her favorite author's quotes to listen to anything that I was saying! My 60 years of anguish went unheard! Then I was forced to confront my therapist and tell her how I did not want her to be my therapist anymore! Instead of being understanding, she started listing off her education! For someone who struggles with severe anxiety, this was a nightmare that sent me into a massive attack! I finally got switched to a new therapist, who was great, but only got one 15-minute EMDR session before I was leaving! Was Dr. Tammy Ramano, the head of APN Lodge in Edwards, CO, aware of everything that happened to me? Yes! Did she care enough to make it right? NO! Having my room cleaned, bed made, and clothes washed was nice. Being in a beautiful area was nice. Making some new friends was nice. Was that what I expected, wanted, or needed, after paying 20K, plus insurance? ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT! Do they seem to care about making things right? ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT! I did see people getting the treatment that I had needed and asked for, but unless you are a squeaky wheel, don't expect to get "World Renowned" care! Sincerely, Jill "devastated" Story

About a month after we moved my mom in, she fell and broke her hip and spent a couple of hours dragging herself to her phone because the safety beeper didn't work to call someone to her apartment. Then, the managers (long since gone and I don't know how many more they've gone through) tried to tell me it was my mother's fault. I didn't get their logic then and I don't now. Some on the food staff sexually harass the young girls as they "intern". That can't be fun for the girls. They "let" the residents be Activity Directors, without pay, because they can't retain actual Activity Directors. I don't know. If it were up to me, she'd have been out of there after they blamed her for breaking her hip, but it's NOT up to me. So, she's staying there and she likes it and has made friends and all that, but I can't help but keep coming back to the fact that there was a meth lab in my mom's apartment complex... it's disturbing..
