My mother in law has been here for a couple of years and the staff is very caring. She had a very early morning doctor's appointment and they were kind enough to braid and fix her hair beforehand so she looked nice. read more

My father receives exceptional kind attentive long term care at CCCC in Westminster every day. At 100 wheelchair bound and hearing disabled he still loves going on almost weekly planned group outings to a restaurant or parks with other residents. He is still motivated to dine every meal in their dining room and walks his chair around the center for exercise and interaction, music etc. His improved weight and zest since Re-locating to CCCC 7 months ago is incredible. I approve of the agency staffing and the 30 year workers that care for him and mostly their awareness of his unspoken needs. Thank you. read more

I wrote a blue-ribbon review when first in this place, but have changed my mind. Completely foreign and uneducated about nursing homes. I chose this one because it was close to my family. BAD MISTAKE. Staff is wonderful and it's clean, HOWEVER, I was left to lay in bed 24/7 - taken to the Physical Therapy Room 3X only to be weighed and returned. I can no longer walk and as CCCC used up nearly all my Health Insurance - not available anymore - all I've left is MEDICAID!!!!!!!!!! I left on advice of my brother and am refused transfer from the lovely BERKLEY MANOR NURSING - 735 S LOCUST ST - DENVER CO 80224-3405 to another one in the same group because I left w/o Doctor's approval. Saw a doctor once, maybe twice. Was taken back to a Spine Center by Northsuburban Hospital in Thornton to have a soft cast removed from my right leg (knee to foot). I repeat - DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER walk again because of their neglect. I'm unable to stand on my own and live in a wheelchair with current caretakers moving me with a "Sit to Stand" machine. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!! NO ONE DESERVES this. read more

I used to visit Clear Creek as a singer since about 2018. always a good happy crowd with good and ample staff. Since thePandemic things have changed there. I do not see as many residents there and they do not seem as well kept or in as good as spirit as they were. The company also started paying vendors like me very slowly until they just stopped paying and I have heard from staff that other activity vendors will not come back there as they do not pay. Seeing a thinning staff and less people coming in like me cannot be good for the residents. The staff I see there are nice people but I think there are less of them. I have performed at over 100 care homes here in Colorado and elsewhere, including other Vivage senior homes that are much better and Knowing what I know about what is a good spot or otherwise I sadly would not recommend Clear Creek to anyone anymore.......and at one time I did. read more

My dad was hospitalized and from California, I needed to find a Rehab Facility that I could trust. Experienced with what makes a good facility, I cared most about the care my dad would receive than what the facility looks like. Cleanliness, attentiveness, physical therapy and wound care. I found all of these things in Clear Creek Care Center. After extensive research online and calling different hospitals to talk to different providers, opinions is all I had to go off of. I had to trust. The BEST decision. Amanda and staff were communicating with me before my dad was discharged, emailed me and were calling me with any information that I needed to know. Talking to my dad daily, I got to hear what his experience was like and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly he became comfortable with the staff and facility. He kept saying how everyone was so nice. A week or so into his stay, I visited my dad at the facility and spent four days at the facility. WOW! I have been to bad, to decent to amazing facilities in California, but Clear Creek Care Center offered something different and special. A family atmosphere. Caring hearts. A warmth that could only be described as genuine. The nursing staff and admin staff were compassionate. I followed all their words and updates and they were very thorough and cared about what was best for my dad. The facility, I would describe as cozy. Not the most updated building but you can tell they are really trying to make it welcoming and warm. There are several gardens on property that I wheeled my dad to to get some fresh air. I always found a woman gardening which I thought was so adorable. The rooms and facility did not have that smell that you would imagine going into a hospital or a long term care facility. The food. I felt like I was more at a restaurant than I did a cafeteria... and that's for every meal. You aren't forced to eat a particular meal, you have a menu of choices. A la carte menu. My dad ate very well because of this and believe it helped him in his recovery. Surprisingly, my dad chose to eat in the dining room with other patience. He had a table mate that we befriended and had conversations with at every meal. They put down table cloth at dinner, each meal had linen napkins. It was so nice to see the human kindness in how the staff served the food and treated the patience. Now I understood why my dad even was open to "long-term" care if he ever needed. Patience at Clear Creek are treated with human dignity and in a family environment. Clear Creek Staff and Execs. please keep up what you are doing because you are doing a wonderful job! Pretty sad and extremely disappointed, when a nurse tell my mother she's too busy with 30 other people, in the facility, and doesn't have the time! Unfortunately, I had covid during two weeks she was there, so all the family need to quarantine. So I missed what was going on. But, here's what I saw in the last week she was there. My mom was unable to go to bathroom without supervision. When she called the nurses to help her on many occasions was told this..! especially the night crew. She had two showers in the three weeks she was there. My mother declined into a depressed state and I had to immediately bring her to my home to care for her. She laid in bed so long she had a bedsore on her back, and got a unitary tract Infection, I feel from not moving around..Immediately after my mom got out of CCC, her mood changed tremendously. I'd think twice if your thinking about putting your loved one there. I asked the day before bringing her home if in the morning they could shower her so I could have meeting my appointment with home care on how to shower her, when I returned the next day she was sitting in a wheelchair with her hair all matted, and she smelled horrible. They then wanted to shower her, knowing I would be wheeling her out in the cold.. it was very painful to see my mother in that condition. read more

I was there for a month of rehab a few years ago. Everything was great except for one nurse who was one of those people who shouldn't be working with people. She hated her job, the facility, the other nurses and CNA's and life in general. But everything else was great-one of the CNA's even gave me her phone number. read more

Recouping from major surgery at "Clear Creek Care Center" was a very positive experience. The entire time I was there I felt like I was part of a very kind and loving family. From the clean up crew to administration, It was evident that each and every employee enjoys the work they are doing, the people they work with, and the patients they are caring for. The staff turnover is minimal which also adds to the sense of camaraderie and stability. Their professionalism, skills and compassion are amazing. I will be forever grateful for how they cared for me. Everyone in the Therapy department works hand in hand and by doing so each session I had was very effective, thus helping me obtain the goals needed in my recovery. I respect each and everyone in this department. Throughout my stay at Clear Creek Care Center I received encouragement from everyone I came into contact with and It really helped. Where else would you have a nurse or CNA pop in just to see how you were doing. The dining was delightful, a daily special, ala carte menu, plus linen table cloths really were an added bonus. Kudos for all at Clear Creek Care Center for your Stellar care. read more

I'm sure someone will read this and say "he works there." Nope. I live in Minnesota. Our experience with the staff and facility at CCCC while our mother was there for long-term care and then hospice care was WONDERFUL. 1) The Facility: Pro's - New and shiny does NOT = "better." CCCC is an older facility, but was very comfortable and had about as close to the warmth of "home" atmosphere as we could find for mom. It was extremely clean, updated (as of October 2015 and, I think always ongoing), and had comfortable beds (according to mom) and rooms. She had to share a room because we couldn't afford a private one, but it was partitioned into two sleeping areas by a very nice window wall, not a noisy flimsy curtain. The effect on the feeling of privacy was amazing. It was well lighted and was a comfortable temperature all the time (and I spent A LOT of late nights with her). All the necessary medical and rehab equipment seemed well maintained and clean. The common areas, such as the huge TV day room, family restrooms, dining rooms, and outside areas were always clean. There are three outside areas (including two enclosed garden areas), with plants and flowers that were very well cared for, and allowed for mom to sit with us in the sun but be out of the breezes. The dining rooms were clean and comfortable and family was always welcome - a privilege I took advantage of often because the price is right ;o) and mom enjoyed us being there with her. Con's - There was a faint smell of urine in the halls when she arrived but the carpet was replaced with much more hygienic and cleanable laminate flooring, and the walls were sealed and painted - smell gone. Being a rehab center as well as a long-term care facility, there are always transient unpleasant odors (vomit, poop, urine etc) but the air system seemed very capable of handling it and ridding it very quickly, as well as the staff being on top if it and clearing the source as soon as they could. The only issues in the cleanliness standard I ever saw were the family members who left their own trash and cigarette butts on the grounds or couldn't be bothered by cleaning up after themselves or flushing the toilets in the family restrooms (stuff that took staff time away from other work to clean up). 2) Staff: Pros- Mom had been in and out of hospitals and rehabs for a few years. The doctors, physician assistants, nurses, nursing assistants, attendants were as well trained and competent as any I've seen over the years. Due to the vast number of meds and antibiotics my mother was on, she experienced clostridium-difficile (C-dif) in the hospital BEFORE going to CCCC. They enforced health protocols to the letter. The staff at CCCC were meticulous in caring for her and safeguarding her health and the health of her room-mate. They were professional, very competent, and caring..as well as fun (if you let them - they are people after all). The dietitian and kitchen staff prepared a huge variety of healthy food choices and mom always had a number of choices. The food was always delicious (my opinion, as I ate with mom a number of times). The staff are human and not robots. Treat them with courtesy and respect and they'll appreciate it. They are caring for YOUR family member after all and become attached and often friends with their patients. It is (or should be) a team effort - with you as part of the team. If you plan on dumping you mom or dad there and visiting once a year, don't complain if your'e not treated like a king. Cons - There may be limited staff at any given time, so we had to wait for an assistant to help clean up mom a couple times. My take: we couldn't afford a 24/7 personal care attendant for mom, so we and she had to accept that. Cost: They say "you get what you pay for" but in our case we think we got a hell of lot "more" than we had a right to expect given our serious financial restrictions. CCCC was very affordable and a good value for the money. They worked with our family on the cost and payment and had good advice on medicare/medicaid. CCCC was where I'm glad my mom could spend her last weeks on earth. read more

The entire staff was kind, caring and provided excellent care to myself and others every day, even my roommates that had memory issues and were mean to the staff but they were always kind took great care of them. I was very appreciative of the personalized care I received. I always felt like a individual person, not just a person in a bed. The staff did everything to accommodate my needs. Therapy was amazing. When I arrived I couldn't get out of bed, now I can walk up stairs and have more independence than before. The staff helped me learn new ways of accomplishing tasks so I am able to be independent which is very important to me. The doctors were great and cared about me as a person. Myself and my family highly recommend this facility, we all feel I received better care here than at the hospital. read more

Many years ago my father stayed here after having open heart surgery, so on Oct 26th after having her knee replaced my 81 year old mother decided to come here as well. Other than her knees, my mothers Heath and mind are in great shape. She lives with me but stays home by herself each day and comes and goes as she pleases. Upon arrival at the care center she told the nurse that she needed to go to the bathroom, but the nurse told her she needed to fill out all of her paperwork first. Unfortunately she was unable to hold it that long and ended up going in pants/wheelchair. In front of everyone the nurse said "now look what you've done" my mother felt terrible and very embarrassed. The was just the beginning of an awful two weeks. Throughout her stay when she would ask to use the bathroom it would sometimes take them up to 45 minutes before they would help her, then once she was in the restroom when she would buzz them that she was done sometimes it would take them up to 30 minutes before they would come help her out of the bathroom. As her knees improved and she was able to get out of bed more easily the night nurse would not allow her to use the bathroom prior to six am, if she had to go before then she insisted that she use the bed pan. For the first week she was there (up until I learned of it) they never put her in pajamas when she went to bed, they simply took off her pants and had her sleep in her top. One evening after a bedpan use they did not put her underpants back on her, they simply covered her with a sheet. We also had trouble with them bringing her ice packs and pain medication in a timely manor. Many times after waiting over an hour and asking more then once my sister would have to go to the nurses station to get it for her. In the 14 days that my mother was in there, she was given a total of two showers although she asked them almost everyday. After sleeping in her clothes and using a bed pan every night she felt dirty and itchy. There were days when they she never received any rehab therapy at all, yet when we told them we were going to take her out on Wednesday instead of Thursday they said in an unfriendly way, " that's fine you can do that but you realize she will be missing out on a days therapy". The family of the lady who shared a room with my mother actually hired a nurse from a different business to come in and sit with her each day to tend to her needs rather than to rely on the Clear Creek staff. When my mother gets her other knee done, we WILL NOT be returning to Clear Creek for her rehab. read more
