My two sisters and I (and our significant others) came to celebrate a milestone birthday and were beyond impressed with this place. The ambiance is fantastic! The courtyard is beautiful as well as the patio in the back. The decorating that Kitty has done throughout the inside of the house is really beautiful. And as David says, "We want to concentrate on two things: The bed, and the breakfast." And that is exactly what they have done here. Each evening, David will come to offer your breakfast choices for the following morning. And it's not just bacon and eggs people... these are GOURMET offerings all made fresh on site using fresh ingredients. We had a choice of a peach cobbler oatmeal that had peaches from the tree in the backyard even and it was delicious! There was also one addition that just made my stay even more superb... a little dog named "Jack" and he is the most precious (smiling) doggie that I have ever seen! So stinkin' CUTE! There is cable and good flat-screen TVs. The common spaces are warm and inviting and the small terrace is a fine place to have a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Karen and Don gave us a walking tour of the area and showed us all kinds of interesting flora and fauna. We had such a wonderful time relaxing, hiking, and enjoying the scenery. They had great tips on what to do in the area. Don gives fly fishing lessons and is a patient teacher. We had a fantastic breakfast and lots of interesting conversation. I think Karen and Don know something about everything. It was great. I was sorry that we had to be on our way. The good news is this is a 4 seasons area. I'm sure it's beautiful in the fall and is a short drive to Wisp Resort for winter skiing.

They are super friendly and knowledgable about the area, so don't be shy to ask them questions about recommended places to see it activities to do. The inn is equipped with a ton of amenities; such as free wine and beer, endless DVDs of current and newly released movies, and bikes if you choose to go exploring. Plus much more. They even do a bonfire on the weekend nights with smores!! The location is set back in a secluded area away from the main resort and areas of deep creek, so it's a nice refuge but still close enough to everything. Every aspect of our stay was surely above my expectations. I would definitely recommend for couples or anyone looking for a nice comfortable place to stay in deep creek.

This is near skiing, and you could enjoy beautiful Somerset fall foliage. I'm told it is rarely humid in the area. It is also close close to the memorial for flight 93. We were in town with family for a funeral and this was a very comforting place to gather and spend time with family and friends. The owners and staff are considerate and kind. They took marvelous good care of us.
