There are plenty of shopping options to choose from, and I appreciate the value and selection available throughout the mall. One thing I tend to avoid is purchasing from the kiosk vendors. They can be very persistent when trying to make a sale. During one visit, a vendor referred to me as "Mexican." While I wasn't personally offended, I would prefer to be addressed more professionally, such as "ma'am" or simply as a customer. The service at Victoria's Secret is always excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they consistently have a great selection of clothing and perfumes that I enjoy. Overall, it's a nice mall with a good variety of stores and shopping opportunities.

Nonetheless, when my girlfriend went to Livermore on Monday before Thanksgiving, it was packed. We came here on Wednesday and it was nearly deserted despite having much of the same stores and discounts as Livermore. It is definitely less walkable than Livermore, requiring you to cross the street to get between various plazas. But it is a great way to get 90% of the shopping experience for 50% of the stress.

And, unlike malls, there's no AC between these stores, no food court, and no sitting areas for guys while our girls are at Pons 4 Less, Bra World or Mops N' Stuff. Lots of new things coming in at Northgate village. Formerly Tracy outlets this center has been…read morecompletely rebranded. No more empty outlet center. Northgate village is a mixed use center. Renting to restaurants, banquet halls, offices, retail, and nightclub/lounge. Lots of new events happening as well. They just had a holiday boutique, haunted house. And currently having a Santa event. Good to see the space getting used and new life coming in.
