The trail rides are led by Debbie, who is wonderful with horses and people. She take a lot of time to make sure everyone is comfortable on their horse and that the stirrups are just right. The trail ride goes through some beautiful country with breathtaking views, and Debbie knows a lot about the local plants and history which is really interesting.

Yet they won't refund your deposit if you're not accepted. For the 12U tournament specifically, they had 20 teams apply and only 12 teams accepted. So the Winthrop Rink is keeping $400 for basically nothing. As a good business, they should refund the $50 deposit if teams aren't accepted. Them refusing to refund the deposit is a very sketchy business practice. Hockey is expensive enough the way it is. I'm recommending to all the other Seattle area hockey associations to skip the Great Outdoor Classic. Or at least buyer beware that there is a possibility of you losing money if they choose not to accept your team. I won't even mention the spa, sauna, pool, hot tubs, ocean views etc...PLUS free access to all of thier other gyms. Don't believe me, check out 24hr Fitness Daly City, CA. Or Fitness 19 Daly City, CA (all 5 miles from the ocean) Fitness 19 not only offers free weights machines and cardio equipment, but also unlimited Zumba classes for $19.99. Now, I know they have staff to pay and make a living I understand that. And I know what you're thinking, that's California, well stick with me here I'll get to my point. I went into NCAC for a basic free weights and cardio equipment membership I was excited as it was finally listed at a reasonable price 3 months for $61. I figured hey that's $20.35+/- a month I'll just pay it up front and I'll get a membership for my mom and my grandparents. I have had memberships at this gym periodically over the years ('02 BULLDOGS!!!) and I know how the equipment looks and overall state of the NCAC. I never felt it was worth paying what they were asking, but they monopolize it and capitalize on it. I get that. They are the only gym that offers racquetball, tennis courts etc... When he told me the total ($230+/-)and that it was $61 a month (just free weights and machines) my jaw about hit the floor in laughter. How come the basic member (free weights/machine) gets gouged so badly? I asked and he said well it's the population, to my understanding very few people in this area are able to afford $61mo. He continued to tell me they were the only ones who have CrossFit and Tennis Courts. I'm not asking for a membership for those things so why am I going to pay such a steep price for basic equipment usage? Why not lower the Average Joe rate for the basic equipment, honestly you make more money in VOLUME of members. Unfortunately, they lost out on 4 new members. At that price I said, "I'd rather be fat". It doesn't make sense to me. It's just bad business. I was informed that there is this place called 'The Zone' down town Omak open 24 hours so I will be checking them out next. My advice to NCAC, smarter pricing, know your population/market. Why should customers pay BMW prices when you're just giving them a Volvo.

We were promised a horseback style backcountry hunt with wall tents. Two days before our hunt was supposed to start, Early Winters postponed our hunt, and one week later they completely canceled our hunt with zero explanation what so ever. Save yourself bunch of time and headache, and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. These people are a complete joke and their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.
