Lock 1 was a perfect location to pop on in, right by the bridge, to grab a drink and snacks. The appetizers were delicious - we ordered the pretzel, loaded salt potatoes, and tacos. All were impressively good and so filling! We had a great server, very attentive, young guy, sadly I can't recall his name but he was wonderful! We also bought two bottles of Ryze Vodka to bring back home in memory of the location (Phoenix) that started a love affair of two young adults and ultimately created a storybook of family memories from New York to Virginia! You can order certain food from the indoor bar and bring it outside, then there's a separate sit-down menu for dining at a table indoors/on the patio, and then at 3 PM an outdoor shack opens with its own day-specific menu where you can also grab drinks to bring to any of the picnic tables. For dining outside there is a patio, but there's also picnic tables on the grass. I actually preferred the picnic tables. It made for a great environment to just hangout. They also have games like cornhole and frisbee golf, and live music. It was really a cool experience and it was only made better by the terrific weather. This place feels so polished without losing the relaxed brewery feel. And it's just that, first and foremost, a brewery. I love their Floatin' On By pilsner, but this time I had Oktoberfest, because, well, ''tis the season. And yes, it was GREAT. As far as the food it was a little better than good overall.
