    Steak and Peppers Sandwich

Excellent food! We had two appetizers - the French onion dip and guacamole rolls. Both were excellent. I had a steak and cheese sandwich. It was great. Fries were also great. Service was wonderful. Plenty of drink options and local beer choices. Interior was well decorated and clean. Bathrooms were excellent. All in all a great experience. Would definitely go back.

My partner and I had just come from a long camping trip upstate and desperately needed carbs after skipping breakfast. Coppeetop tavern did not disappoint. We ordered way too much food but it was all delicious and I was impressed by how varied the menu is. Beer selection is good. Service was fast. If anything we felt a bit rushed given the amount of food we ordered. The AC was on blast given the heatwave of the day and the venue feels like a tavern should.

Great large space. Comfortable seating. It was super busy but the wait for a table didn't take too long. The server was friendly and attentive and the manager came around to make sure everything was ok. The food came out hot and tasty. Everything was reasonably priced and the drinks were tasty. The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom was quite small and not very clean.

Another fun visit pre holiday to Copper Top! They never seem to disappoint great food, service and cocktails! Festive ambiance in the bar area! Stormin Norman dropped by our table to check on us as well and had a lovely chat! My brother visits from Boston and always loves Copper Top. Actually he returned over Christmas visit for wings as well!

We ordered Nashville honey wings, veggie pizza, and vodka burrata pizza. The wings were big and cooked perfectly. Good flavor and paired well with blue cheese. The pizzas were decent although they could have used more herbs and spices. They also would have been better if they were cooked longer. Service wasn't good or bad. Love the dim lighting and vibe!

Great food and good service. It's a little loud but not too bad for most of the tables.

We really enjoyed our meals at Coppertop in North Syracuse. The first things first, our waiter was super attentive which is always nice. The pasta was delicious, and it was nice it was served with two large pieces of garlic bread. I had leftovers for 3 more meals which just shows it's a good price for the amount. The fish was tasty too, and interestingly fried, paired with my favorite crispy shoestring fries. The butter cake wasn't our favorite but we can be picky with our desserts. It wasn't as smooth as we would have liked.

Copper Top was a recommendation from an employee of a cigar shop we were visiting. We asked where she would go that's nearby and good, without hesitation she said "Copper Top, their pizza nachos are great!". Why not, when in Syracuse.... It was about 6:30pm on a Monday night, they were pretty busy but my buddy and I were able to grab two seats at the bar. Quick service by the bartender (who actually seemed to always be there right before we needed something). We were looking for the "pizza nachos" but found out they're called the "Copper Top Nachos". Now, I in a million years would never think to order this: Homemade pasta chips topped with sausage, pepperoni, marinara, mozzarella, kalamata olives, bruschetta, pepperoncinis and scallions. It seems like overkill (and it really is), but we went for it anyways based on the recommendation. Unreal, these things are great! The pasta is fried giving it a texture not as hard as a chip but held up great to all of the toppings (and there are a lot). Everything worked together well, salty meats, savory cheese, acidic bruschetta; we crushed these faster than two sumo wrestlers that had eaten in a week. For dinner I kept it simple, the Bacon Cheeseburger: bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. I ordered it medium and it was cooked medium, the meat was seasoned and the fries were good. A good burger overall. I could see becoming a regular here, it's good that I'm not local because the Copper Top Nachos would be my demise. A fun atmosphere, in a large restaurant with good food and service.

Coppertop is a great go to with a menu full of choices but I always like to check out the specials. My daughter is more of a "stick with the standards" type however this just means she really likes what she gets there. We visited on a recent Tuesday evening and did not have a wait. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. I chose the Chicken Pasadena Fettuccine and my daughter got the 6 cheese macaroni and cheese. Garlic bread came with both. The large serving of Chicken Pasadena had ample pieces of tender chicken, peppers and a delicious jalapeño lime cream sauce that was not too spicy. The Mac and cheese had a crispy bread crumb topping that added a bit of texture to the creamy pasta dish. We both declined dessert and went home with leftovers. My only complaint was the to go container as the jalapeño lime cream sauce leaked through the new container that is no longer made from a plastic type material but a recycled corrugated one.

Have cravings for dessert....look no further than here! Pumpkin cheesecake. I'm not a fan of cheesecake, however this is an exception. Shared with my hubby a creamy texture with a rich pumpkin flavor topped with homemade whipped cream, sprinkle of cinnamon. Not overly sweet. Perfect size to share. I'm sure this dessert is seasonal... so grab some before it's gone. You're welcome!!

It was a perfect time for a Saturday night....not too busy when we arrived but it was getting full by the time we left. We were on the dining room side and it's quieter than the bar side, which was nice for our dinner. The bar side is so much fun and they have music sometimes. Our server was busy....the outside tables make for lots of running around, but our service was very good. My friend had the Espresso Martini and said it was excellent.... good flavor and nice and creamy. She also really enjoyed her beet salad with a grilled shrimp "add-on". She asked for the oranges to be left off, (she has an allergy) , our server made a note for the kitchen and the salad came out perfect. I ordered the Irish Meatloaf which is made with lamb and beef, it came with potatoes, vegetables a delicious creamy cabbage sauce and brown bread with butter. We were too full to order dessert this time but next time we're going to try the Bailey's Cheesecake!

Live singing was nice (we sat in the back and that was the right volume). Food took awhile to come out. I selected Irish breakfast, while my friends got sandwiches. White pudding: saltier than Ireland. Otherwise reasonable, but definitely wouldn't pass muster across the sea. My friend's champ (mashed potatoes) looked promising, but turned out to be pretty bland. His wife liked the brisket, but the sandwich wasn't served on bread remotely Irish. Ratings: 4 for ambiance, 2 for food, 3.5 for service minus 1 star for the inappropriate hostess. And then she came back and did it again. "Were you on Wi-Fi the whole time?" And slapped me on the shoulder. The manager Alexis was very nice and apologetic about it, but even the beer omitted from the receipt doesn't change the quality of my experience. Sorry. Do not go here.

After a evening of shopping, it was time to wind down so considering the options we chose Coleman's. Place was packed as always. The band was setting up to start to play in an hour. I haven't had this in what feels like decades. It was pretty darn good. Plenty of chips and plenty of dip. So much so, that I brought the leftovers home. So both of us did go with the shepherds pie.
