I haven't been here in a while, so I was glad we decided to have lunch here. There has always been just one lady here.... holding down the entire bar and all the tables at lunch time (when we've stopped in for lunch before). It was nice to see two very friendly and super attentive servers for what turned out to be a pretty busy lunch. We were seated and then drinks delivered, order taken, food brought over, water refilled, and being checked on regularly. My hamburger was excellent and my friend's steak salad was declared delicious as always...the steak being perfectly med rare. My only complaint was that I asked for no mustard and it came with mustard.....I had no allergies so I did my best to wipe it off. I am glad to say Duskees is as good as ever. read more

Busy but not overly so on this clear February Sunday afternoon. The bartender was also our waitress and Taylor is very good at keeping the flow, staying in top of customer needs both at the bar and tables, and doing it all with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. She stayed on top of refills and was ready to bring to go containers when we were done along with the check. I hear the wings are great and see they are $.60 each on Wednesdays with many flavors and rubs we will have to check them out. Several TVs with Syracuse Basketball and NASCAR for the sports minded. This is a great sports bar. Typical bar ambiance. I went on Wing Wednesday where they discount the wings. It was super busy and everyone was ordering wings. It did take a while to get our order but service was friendly and they kept up with drinks while we waited. The wings were pretty good but some of the sauces were underwhelming in flavor. I got the boom boom, GOAT, honey hot, and spicy garlic parmesan. I don't prefer the boom boom, but it might be someone else's preference. The good: can't say enough good about the server. She was awesome and cared about everyone's well being. A rockstar who is going places in life. The bad: she was the only waitress, on a Saturday, for about 5 tables and the bar. Wings were ok. They were cooked really well, but the sauce was lacking. Not my first time here but I keep coming back to try new things. Everything that I've tried as been excellent! Today for lunch started with the pumpkin pie martini which was a fall special for $5.00, it was rimmed with cinnamon and had all the fall flavors I love. For lunch choose the salad with steak, candied pecans and crumbly blue cheese. It came with raspberry dressing which I'm not a fan of but the waitress said no problem to substitute for balsamic vinaigrette . The steak was cooked perfectly for me at medium rare and loved the spring mix. It was one of the best salads I've had at a restaurant. The waitress was amazing in that she handled the bar and all the tables by herself and was friendly and didn't seem stressed out (I wish I had gotten her name to give her props here). We went on a Wednesday night to watch Baseball. We heard the wings n drinks were on special that night. They were super busy but we found seats no problem. We ordered wings n had a quite a wait but it was worth a little wait considering . The wing price is .60! They had quite a few different sauces for them too! Numerous TVs are mounted around the pub for viewing a variety of sports. The staff was very efficient and helpful. Food was delivered in reasonable time with good size portions and "hot". Everything was tasty. I would have preferred my steak to be a little more rare but it did have a pink center. Mixed drinks were also flowing as Kirstie multi tasked tables, food and drinks. Tried and loved the general tso wings (they have 18 sauce options and 4 dry rubs) salads sandwiches, panini's, wraps,burgers. All good and fresh. I was staying in Clay on business and wanted to catch the hockey playoff game. The place was not very full and I sat at the bar. It took 45 minutes for an order of wings, the bartender did not even apologize for the delay. I had the Jamaican dry rubbed wings which the bartender recommended.
