Pretty flower in the greenhouse RIGHT NOW 2.16.24

This is a super cute nursery with so many pretty things to see. I don't think I had ever seen these beautiful winter flowers. I called and was looking for a monkey puzzle tree... they had a couple that was left over in decorative pots that were a decent size so I got one to take home... I'm not sure if it will die on me but it will be cool for a little while. The guy was very helpful so when I got there they directed me to where they were. Price seemed reasonable to me but I'm not sure how much they go for.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff and a great resource for locals and visitors. I was able to shop for fall planters at good prices and even get a hand loading van. I always enjoy meeting fellow gardeners and this place is full of them. If you are looking for gift items I always like a living pot of flowers instead of a bouquet. They have a great selection here.

    Huge healthy fern.

I had written a review on here before but somehow it got taken down or was deleted I don't know so I'm making sure to put it back up. Bear Valley Nursery is such a beautiful place to visit it's like visiting a secret garden or an arboretum. You can walk around for an hour and see new things and enjoy everything you are looking at. I am hoping to do that soon I have bought many, many plants here and just run in and out but I realize it is so gorgeous here I would like to come back and just walk through the area. I don't think anyone else has mentioned this on their review but it's just gorgeous! Aside from that I have been buying my plants here for the last three years that I've lived here. I started shopping here immediately when I bought my home. Every plant I bought has lived and been extremely healthy because I believe they get them from really good nurseries. It is a little bit more expensive than your local hardware store but they're higher quality and I've noticed that since I've been here because back home I would just go to Lowe's or Home Depot because that was in my neighborhood I lived in a bigger city. However the plants here are so healthy. The owner Andrea is the nicest person I love talking to her and texting her when I need to find out if she's got some thing she's always so appreciative and gets right back to me she really knows how to treat customers. She has an old-school way of dealing with people which is really pleasant and is missing in younger people today. I love working with people in my own age group because they have that ethic about work that is so rare now. Definitely drop in because this place is a Diamond In a town where there's not a lot of great places to go or shop. Bear Valley is really a special place.

Awesome selection and super friendly staff! So much to look at, and there was even a chicken who followed us around to help us look at very reasonably-priced plants.

This nursery is amazing. The variety and beautiful plants are second to none. The helpful friendly staff especially Charles makes the experience even better. Take it from me, a Master Gardener this is the place to shop.

Excellent nursery and garden supply -- with treats for the outdoor garden as well as indoor/houseplants and all the plant food, garden statuary, pots, wind chimes, stepping stones, and seashore nature gifts. I don't have a very good record with houseplants -- except African Violets, but decided to go out on the coastal limb and see if I have better luck here. The shop's owner gave me lots of tips and helped narrow my choices to do-able projects without making me feel like a purple-thumbed idiot... Which was both kind and really good business. I easily found a house plant with training wheels, a lovely pot for it to go nicely in my living room, and of course, the requisite Miracle Grow Plant Food. And several ideas for future experiments.... Especially cute: sea bird sculptures for you deck/patio; great succulents in all sizes and shapes; a great rusted-bicicle planter with "baskets" on the handlebars, and rear bumper for lots of greenery -- which would look great leaning against a garden fence.... and a fall-back plan: some really lovely African Violets. Just in case. But best of all, having a local nursery to ask about what plants grow in the ultra salty air in the last mile before the Pacific Ocean (and all it's winds and moisture....) is part of the absolutely necessary shopping for a move to this area!

We went in to find an ornament to celebrate our first time to Lincoln City together and were not disappointed in the selection. The staff was very helpful; they pointed us to the themed area for the coast and we quickly found two ornaments for our Christmas tree. We were also looking for a pinball machine ornament, but unfortunately they didn't have any. A staff member did look everywhere it could be, just in case, which was super nice. As we went to the counter, we were told that they could write anything on the ornament for us for free. We took them up on that and it'll be an item treasured for a long time. Prices are as expected in a touristy and niche shop, but the service and personalization was what made it worth it. We would venture here again if in the area.
