Carroll's Country Christmas Trees is by far, the BEST place to buy your Christmas tree. I always buy a Nordman Fir and they are always gorgeous trees. Everyone is so friendly and a local school athletic department sends teams who help with picking out your tree and spinning it so you get a total look at the tree before you buy it, and then they carry it to your vehicle. You can make a contribution to the team at the time you pay for your tree. Your tree is put through the shaker and then banded so it's easy to transport to your home. When you get home, put the tree in the stand and then cut the banding off and your beautiful tree is ready to decorate. We usually go here every year but looking elsewhere next year. We had a tree tagged as a 7 footer from there pre-cut trees. When they measured the lady in charge said it was 8 feet by an inch so they would charge extra. Every year places normally have the bottom sawed off so the tree can absorb water longer . But they wouldn't do that just to keep the extra inch to charge an extra $20. We felt overcharged and I had to get out my hand saw at home to saw the bottom myself. They gained an extra $20 but lost a future customer. read more

This is a great place to get a Christmas Trees!! Its U-cut and Pre-cut trees that are all ready if you don't want to get all muddy both are the same price. They have a wide variety of trees from Nordmins Noble and Douglas Fir and Grand Fir. Big trees to small trees, Carroll's has what you want and what your looking for. We've been getting our tree here for the last 6 years! Every time we have a beautiful tree! They have 4 different kinds of trees they are all so nice! The kids who help you are always ready to cut your tree down or carry it for you if you need. Chantal in the office is the sweetest! They also have a really cool play structure for the kids to play on and "reindeer" pony rides on the weekends! read more

We love this place. We've gone two years in a row and it's so fun to walk through and pick out a tree and cut it down ourselves. We personally only get smallish trees so this is perfect for us; those who like to cut down their own larger tree may look elsewhere - most of the larger trees we saw were precut. We didn't get a coffee or treat but they did have a coffee truck and a little treat shack to get a snack. Maybe we will next year. The prices were fine, no more than comparable places. Our cute little Douglas fir has stayed pretty fresh this year. I think we've found our place! read more

What a great place, yes there are a lot of teens working there but each and every one we came into contact with was helpful,knowledgeable and very friendly. And the dog complaint wow really it even says on their ad dogs must be on a leash even if you're caring a dog they should be on a leash in case something happens and you trip or fall and the dog gets away from you it could be disastrous for the dog. I was looking for a festive place my first time cutting down a tree it was great they have a big bonfire they have a place for the kids to play they have a kiosk or coffee hot cocoa tea they have a food truck in my eyes it was just all-around fun even though it was raining there was lots of people there just enjoying the day with their family what a great tradition we will definitely be going back next year read more

Disorganized and expensive. We actually came home with the wrong tree. We had to chase the kids around that were stringing the trees up trying to keep an eye on our tree and there's this blond lady running around yelling at everyone. They had strung up trees that they didn't know who they belonged to. I think they just handed us someone else's tree because they didn't know who's it was and they lost our tree. We bought 2 trees at $60 each. The whole experience was not fun. Also, there were no trailers driving around to pick you up with your tree like the other tree farms have. There were blackberry bushes around the trees so be careful if you're there with your dog. read more

So wonderful- We had a blast, and started the Holiday season off right at Carroll's. The staff were being very safe, all in masks, and at their goodies shack they had hand sanitizer and disposable masks available. We felt completely comfortable and loved the holiday cheer. read more

We had so much fun here. It's the perfect one-stop-shop for Christmas fun with little kids. My son rode a pony dressed as a reindeer, sat on Santa's lap, played in a charming play structure, and chose a tree to cut down. There was also coffee/treats/BBQ available for purchase, and hay rides. All of the activities were free or cheap, and not crowded at all (we went the Sunday after Thanksgiving, midday). First, I would like to start off with how cute this place is! The volleyball team volunteers were all so sweet! My daughter had flown in for a long weekend from New York and I looked for a place to make a special memory. My mom and daughter and our two pups couldn't stop smiling. With that being said.....I bought a Christmas tree that does not smell!!!! Yes, does not smell! A live tree that does not smell. No one told me. It is a beautiful "pricey" non smelling tree! I wish I could take it back. Lol! We were decorating and I said, "Wait, it doesn't smell!" Googled and sure enough.... Normand's, which I had never heard of do not smell! So sad!!! The teens they have working there are very friendly and helpful. The trees were average and a little on the higher cost side. The "u cut" area was ok if you want a 5ft or smaller tree. The website says they will drill your tree (we have a stand that requires a drill hole) but it doesn't say they charge you $10, at check out I was surprised. The grandkids loved the pony rides and the owners of the Pony rides were amazing. I've gone to another family owned tree farm for 30 years but they closed after last season (yes they drilled the tree for free) and was looking for a new tradition. I understand you're running a business but customers see how you treat employees and take that into account when deciding to come back or not. Its a very cute place. we found a tree that was perfect for our family. However, I didn't enjoy being yelled at and made to feel bad. There was a question about if the tree that was brought up was mine. Instead of her trying to help me, I was told that it wasn't her job to keep track of my tree. I needed to just take it and move it immediately. My husband was walking toward us to grab the tree and she continued on about me needing to get the tree. I told her my husband was right there walking toward us to grab it and she continued to badger me about it needed to be moved NOW. I cant believe how rude she was and it ruined our family experience with picking out or Christmas tree. There is no need to treat people that way. read more
