Today, (5/22/2025 @ 11:50) I had a Dentist Appointment at Bearable Dentistry in Moscow, Idaho. While waiting in their South waiting area I observed an older couple attempting to work with the reception staff on a billing issue. The male staff member did not understand HMO, PPO, and Medicare and was unable to explain anything to the couple. The female receptionist was impatient, condescending and rude. There was one other patient in the waiting area besides myself. After approximately ten minutes of enduring the painful mistreatment of the older couple, they were attempting to leave and being respectful by saying thank you and attempting to walk out the door, all while the female receptionsit continued to be a very rude person. Those that know me, know I am not one for letting someone get hurt mentally or physically, bullied, or walked all over. As soon as the door shut from the older couple leaving, (in a conversational but firm tone) I mentioned to the dentist office staff that they were holding an embarrassing conversation with patients that they should have gone to a private area and attempted to properly resolve. Maybe even call the insurance company with them and attempt to get it resolved. But they instead held it for all patients to hear and made people feel uncomfortable and had the older couple leaving feeling humiliated. I then said if they tried to pull that with me, I would end up telling them to "kiss my ass". At that moment, an individual in blue scrubs who I assume was Bryan Schiavoni, firmly tells me not to cuss in his office, or he will kick me out. In a quieter conversational tone and a look of "Ok?", I said, "Kiss my ass?". He then tells me to get out of his office before he calls the police. I stood up, looked him in the eye and said, "that if he thought I was cussing, then stand by, you can all go F*ck yourself, cancel my f*cking appointment". The Bearable Dentistry inability to take constructive criticism and extremely poor treatment of an older couple ensured I am removing my family from their patient care and going back to the Dentist Office I love but had to leave due to an insurance change. I was able to speak with the older couple in the parking lot and they thanked me for standing up for them and told me that they could not understand why they were treated so poorly, and were humiliated by the way they were treated. So if you are in the Latah County area, avoid Bearable Dentistry. read more

This place is awesome and we go to them with all of our dental problems. It's owned by a father/son team with a third partner. It's kid friendly and the kids love going there. The waiting room is really cool. Lots of bears and stuff everywhere, as one would expect. But for the kids, a small bear cave was formed for a play room and it even has a small tv. My one disappointment here was that there aren't many books or toys in there and the tv is actually rarely one so my kids would still gravitate back out into the main waiting room. I've always had great experiences with the staff and they're definitely kid friendly. Even for little ones so called Happy Visit to get them aquainted with the world of dentistry. When my oldest daughter had hers, she didn't want to leave! They're knowledeable and I never feel like I'm being talked down to. And if you have an emergancy, they work hard to try and fit you in. They always speak to you like an equal, even the kids. And if something in a procedure isn't working for you, they try to change it if at all possible. I'm against flouride. I don't like the whole notion of it, and I'm also very sesnitive to it so I don't use it at all and neither do my kids. We've never had a problem in that area. While they do try to give you little spiel about it the first couple of times or so, they won't push you on it. The one bad thing about this place are the high prices. They're actually one of the most expensive dentists in Moscow. However, they do accept Medicaid although I'm not sure if they're accepting new Medicaid cases at this time. read more

No stars they ruined my mouth and I have to have oral surgery to fix what they messed up! So pissed and unhappy!! They are rude and do shitty job!! Want pain and misery then by all means here's your dentist!! Worse experience ever I mean ever!! read more

The staff and dentists are kind and helpful. My cleanings always go quickly and they do a great job.

I went to these guys to have some much needed work. One tooth that I thought should be extracted they decided to keep. They drilled a giant crater in ti and filled it with amalgam. Two months later the tooth split down through the root and there was associated PAIN. I went back to Bearable Dentistry and I got in the chair, he looked at my tooth but when I told him I would not have any money to pay them for a week he invited me to leave! I do not think that any charge was warranted. Bearable Dentistry does NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR Work. They run their practice like an assembly line with each taking three or more patients at a time. I would NEVER HAVE TAKEN MY kids there when they still lived at home. read more

Both of my sons were extremely comfortable (one of them had never been to the dentist before). ALL of the staff were incredible! Super friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I have gone to Bearable Dentistry since I was a child. Most of the staff is amazing. Dusty is great and Anji is my favorite. As with any practice, you will occasionally come across someone you do not prefer but just mention it and they will schedule you with someone else next time. read more

Bearable Dentistry, and Dr. Shivoni, has been my dentist for years. I go here because of the caring staff and commitment to quality. Since I live in Clarkston and it's a little over a half hour drive up to Moscow, I can tell ya that it's worth it. When there is a major procedure to be done, they don't wait around for several weeks for an appointment to open up. They get it done right then. read more

Bearable Dentistry always provides me with great service that's prompt and courteous. I've had my regular cleanings as well as an implant placed and the experiences have been reassuring (don't want to say great - it is still the dentist) and extremely professional. Dr. Sept is great and Rena is a great dental hygienist. I'm very happy with Bearable Dentistry! The only downside is the financial person. She is very brusque and has contradicted herself a few times (in terms of payment amount) that makes it a little confusing and not comforting (especially when you're handing over thousands of dollars for a new tooth). But most people won't have to deal with this, so I don't count it against them. Plus, it's money and it's never fun when you're giving it to the dentist! read more

This place sucks! I paid my bill but just because it had gone to collections I was told that I could never ever receive dental care from them again. That is bs when I had called to pay my bill but then told it was turned over to collections so same day I paid the collections agency. How f ed up ! Whatever! I have had contact with three different dentists at Bearable Dentistry. I have been happy each time. They didn't create the problems I have with my teeth. But they had good advice about how I could fix things. 1. They each have answered my many questions. (always a good sign) 2. They have sent me to a specialist, when required, that was very high quality. 3. They offered me some options. They didn't tell me: do this, then this. They actually listened to what I wanted to do, gave me input, then let me make up my own mind. I have been happy with them in every regard. I just can't rate a dentist 5 stars out of principle! After getting recommendations from 5 or more coworkers/friends, my husband and I both gave Bearable Dentristry a try. We were both very, very pleased! I was greeted very cheerfully. Only waited a couple minutes. The office was incredibly clean and nice - not outdated. Charmaine did a very thorough job on my teeth. She was very friendly and knowledgable. It was obvious that she and Dr Dusty had done their homework and were aware of my issues. I love their focus on prevention and the price was very reasonable. They were both very gentle and quick but very thorough. They didn't charge us for follow-up x-rays! Great service and we both will highly recommend them to anyone! read more

horrible experience greedy uncaring if you don't have the full payment on hand no payment option if its a problem that could be fatal and you don't have money on hand at the very moment then far as they care you can go die in a ditch. they care more about a few dollar then peoples lives. love to see the priority read more

The Dr Weitz is great the father I have not seen the son. Dr Shivoni is good with adults. HORRABLE with children. He yelled at my child after the hygienists lied to her and told her she would stop and then didn't so by the time the Dr came in she was not happy and he just made it worse. I left CRYING I couldn't believe I let them do that to my daughter. I was in SHOCK. My daughter now goes to DR. Karen Sept and she and her staff are AWSOME I wish I could go there too. Oh and not to mention it took my daughter 3 visits with Dr Sept before she wasn't afraid of the Dentist anymore. The office staff is horrible they call to ask you to come early and if you can't they treat you like crap. They change your 6 month out apt all the time you will get the reminder post card and it will be different than when you scheduled. They can't keep hygienists in the office. They blame it on college town but I blame the office staff they are horrible. read more

I've been a patient with Bearable for three years. I've found them to be great when it comes to routine care, and even better when problems arise. When I had an accident that threatened the loss of a tooth, they not only stabilized it but worked diligently to get me into an endodontist (there are many of those around here and they're usually booked well in advance) in less than 24 hours. Several of my children also receive care here, and they find the experience positive. read more
