    Breakfast menu 1

This is my usual breakfast stop when flying out of Glasgow. You grab a table and then order at the bar, providing your table number. I usually just get eggs and bacon, since their chips are flour-coated and therefore glutened. They have a range of options though - check out the breakfast menu in my pictures. It's nothing special, at least what I've tried, but the service is friendly, they are quick, and it gets the job done. Solid for an airport restaurant.

Tried the all day Scottish brunch and ham hock & boiled egg salad - the dressing of the salad had just the perfect amount of acidity. The black pudding is definitely a must try Scottish food - it doesn't really have a very strong taste but it's quite nice nonetheless.

    Decent coffee. Sad pale 'toast'.

Even when you check in at the counter. The line isn't that long and there's always a good amount of someone working the counter. International airport and it's easier to maneuver, that's a win in my book. Also there's plenty of weigh stations that you can use for a pound to see if your luggage weight limits is correct before checking it in and having to readjusts. Security is upstairs. Scan your boarding pass to enter through before security. It's alway nice to have something that speedy and easy. The waiting area has a good amount of eating places. There's some fast food restaurants as well as sit down. Shopping is available as well with duty free at the beginning. What I don't like is they won't display your gate until it gets close to barding time. The airport isn't that big so it wouldn't be too much of a struggle trying to get to the correct one.

We came here 3 hours before our flight, which is a bit excessive. We couldn't even check in our luggage until 2:30 before the flight. Afterwards we made our way to the security screening. There was only one lane open and it took about 30 minutes. There are some restaurants, but not much else to do. We ended up being here even longer since our flight was delayed over an hour due to strong winds.

Although you are limited with your food, the options are slightly better than the buffet style over at Aspire Lounge. With that said, this also means you will need to wait about 5-10 minutes for your food to come out. I did see pictures of some of food options, and ones like the bacon roll and sausage sub did not look quite appetizing. It may be a bit of a hit or miss here with the food, but I can tell you that the mac and cheese was yummy. The sauce was cheesy and full of truffle oil, which I requested --maybe a little too much truffle oil to be honest. I added extra crispy onions from the side counter as well. There are some bread, salad, baked goods, and soup options that is free for all if the entree isn't enough for you. I did find this lounge more relaxing and bright, especially with the high ceilings. I'd come to this lounge for the atmosphere, but Aspire for the food; although both are not too far of a stretch. Or if you have the time, you can go to both like I did (because my flight was delayed).

The seatings are like very classy type, a nice bar at the side. Service: The bar tender is nice and also the guy who checks me in. Food: They have a small buffet type of breads, cereals and juices. They have a menu handed by a guy who checks u in and once you chose the food you want to order you will tell the bartender what you want then they will serve it to you. Here is the problem, all the food on the menu does not taste good, well I mean I ordered 2. First I had CLASSIC SAUSAGE SUB: it was 2 sliced sausage with ketchup on a bun, it taste ew, like I didn't eat any. I told myself maybe I'll try the POACHED EGG with AVOCADO: still taste ew, the egg is like mid hard boiled egg and the avocado has a plastic taste on it. So what did I do? I moved to the next door lounge and the food was waaayyy better!! 100x better. Price rating: Had access here cause of my Chase reserve card. The interior is pretty nice, I felt like the people go here just to feel that they are special because of the atmosphere, but the food was meh.

I liked that this lounge is relatively spacious and less busy than the ones at Heathrow, but it also comes with less options. The food options were of course proper English bites from sausage and gravy to pot pies to petite sandwiches. The bar has a fair amount of juices and liquors, and you can confidently make a large variety of classic cocktails yourself. As for access, all BA business flights give you access (as well as One World Sapphire). The options and seatings seem relatively on par with how exclusive it is. Honestly, I was surprised that the lounge wasn't that full. We found seating right away near some windows. I think it was a view of the parking lot. It was still dark outside when we arrived early in the morning. The coffee is great! They serve Union Hand-Roasted Coffee in all of their lounges. The breakfast options are good here. I believe I had a fruit salad and a pastry. There were sausages, streaky bacon, porridge, and other items. I was still trying to wake up at that point. The one thing that I was most impressed with was the Tunnocks Tea Cakes. I'd never had this Scottish treat before. It's like a Mallomar marshmallow cookie, only it's not as sweet and the marshmallow is light & fluffy. It was nice that there was a special area of Scottish treats at the tea bar. They also had the Scottish tablets and shortbread. What a treat! It was a quiet lounge that even included some private work pods for those traveling alone. Most of the seats had charging stations. It was modern, clean, comfy, and quiet in there. It was nice just to be away from the busy terminal.

We were lucky enough to just show up and grab a semi-circle shaped booth by the bar without any wait. We LOVED that a) the cocktail menu clearly stated "All drinks vegan, please inform staff of any allergens before ordering" and b) that they had the shape of the glassware next to the drink name. The bartender even took some time to make recommendations based on both what was most popular with customers and what the house/staff favorites were. We ended up going with the Porty Licks (gin, pineapple liquor, passionfruit, toasted almond topped with edible flowers) and Green Room (bourbon, peach liquor, lemon, peach, basil yuzu). Both were really well balanced drinks! Next time I'd get the King Khan (spiced rum and a mango oat lassi) or the Hare Krishna (mango, oat milk, chilli, coconut cream, and cardamom - sounds like a lovely non-alcoholic beverage and dessert)!

Mine was quite dry, salad on it was a very thing slice of tomato and a lettuce leave! The spicy beans pattie didn't taste bad though. Chips were good. Total of 30£ for 2 burgers with chips + tea and cappuccino, in my opinion doesn't worth the money! I had the eggs Benedict, which was the perfect portion, cooked to perfection, and left me wanting more. The sauce was light and mixed with the egg in a way that was just indescribable. The French toast with bacon offered a great mix of sweet and savory. Syrup was available if you wanted it, but honestly, you didn't need it. My wife had the fluffy scrambled eggs, creamy, cheesy, served over toast with bacon and hash browns. This is something she gets often, and she has had none better than the ones here. My wife opted for the Avocado Toast, which was loaded generously. She enjoyed it quite a lot. I tried the marinated cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, mozzarella, rocket, pesto and smoked almonds on toasted sourdough. I was likewise happy with my selection. I can also report that the coffee was very good. My wife had a Macchiato and said it was quite nice as well. Including the food, drinks and a small tip, the total bill was £36. At £18 per person, this was not cheap but I had no problem with the value. The experience including the food, the service and the vibe all added up to make this worth the cost. If we're in Glasgow again, we'd be happy to do brunch here again.
