What a scam... they want to service your home every 6 weeks... most companies service every 3 months. If, they did a complete service, and covered the entire home/property, they would not need to service your home so much. Scott came to our house to end a persistent mouse problem and did as advertised. He did a thorough inspection of the foundation of our house and found and sealed a number of possible entry points. This included crawling under our deck with a 15 inch clearance and slithering thought the water, mud, and animal droppings to find and seal the last 3 or 4 holes. He then set traps in the basement and came back and checked and emptied them several times until the activity ceased. This was several months ago and we have had no problems since. This was all done for a one-time cost, not a monthly fee as most other companies do. Scott is very knowledgeable and very willing to share his knowledge of pest control. Scott with BOGO came out to help with what I thought was a small Yellow Jacket and some stray carpenter ants. Very glad I did my research ahead of time and picked this company - they were fantastic to work with and got rid of the problem swiftly. Yellow Jackets: Scott with BOGO looked right away and said "wow that's a big nest" judging by the number that were flying in and out of a small opening near the underside of the roof in the back of my house. He asked me if I had been stung or if all was ok (thankfully all good there). At minimum, he said there were THREE THOUSAND in there but could be as much as 5k! Scott treated the area and said that they would all be dead later that evening or the next morning at the latest. The next morning, there was no more activity around the entry-point and I could see a few Yellow Jackets expired on the deck around the area. Carpenter Ants: Earlier when I made my appointment I was seeing 2-3 ants throughout the house each day, and as time went on about a week before my appointment I noticed less and less of these ants throughout the house. I mentioned this over email to Mike with BOGO and said that I was probably going to only seek the Yellow Jacket treatment. While Scott and I were talking about the Yellow Jackets outside he mentioned that it would be a good idea to get the ants handled, even if I wasn't seeing them; they are nocturnal and 2017 was a banner year for them with the wet spring. As we were talking outside he pointed two of them out that were crawling next to my garage. He offered to treat the ants at a reduced price as it was a similar treatment he was already doing for the Yellow Jackets and said this is warrantied for A YEAR - if I even had any more ants in the coming Spring he would come out and re-treat for free. We have had a few mice for years with minimal success trying to stop them from entering the house, We called Bogo and Scott came out and identified a number of possible access points and wrote up a fair proposal to block all possible entrances with industrial quality products and a great warranty, appointment was made and he sealed a handful of obvious openings and possible future openings which can be very small and put 4 interior traps in our basement, Scott said you will probably catch them in the traps for about a month as they now can't get out! BOGO saved my sanity! We heard strange noises occasionally in our basement wall, but it wasn't consistent. Scott found a sewer rat, and I was horrified. He also identified where mice could come in, set some bait, replaced our drain pipe (where the sewer rat came in), and did it all in one morning and for a very reasonable rate. BPC came out same day - we didn't even ask for that - we know it's summer and they have to be so busy - but they added us to the end of their day schedule, came out late (not late for us - late for them!), and gently convinced some angry wasps to get away and stay away from our house/yard. They also did a walk around and knocked down a few other old paper wasp nests to help prevent reinfestation.
