I am writing to let you know how disappointed I was with the experience that was provided. I was reached out to by Rocio the week before and I went through a list of songs , my requests and time line. While Rocio is an amazing host, I find it very odd that she had no clue who any of our artist were. Which baffles me a she is working for a Dj business. She sent us a recap of what we talked about and Everything was wrong. I sent Screenshots of songs and requested and asked for her to call so we can go over again. Jorge called us instead. We went over music and specifics. I was so disappointed as I asked to confirm if my first dance song would be mixed. He said he's in the middle of moving therefore he couldn't do it. I have been planning my wedding for 14 years and my song for the same.  At that point I was so stressed out I couldn't even argue.  That really broke my heart, but at that point with a few days I thought that was a battle I couldn't fight.  Fast forward to the wedding . The music was horrible.  To be perfectly blunt this was a black crowd and Jorge put a Vegas style(European)mix on every song that he played. We never discussed hin mixing songs. None of my family or friends liked the music.  I don't understand how if you see your crowd not feeling your music why wouldn't you switch it up.  I was getting so frustrated I had to tell the djs to just go ahead and take song requests so he could stop playing these horrible mixes. I had to complain to my coordinator Taylor that he did not play not one of my songs on my Playlist . So after Taylor tells him he plays the song we came out to again!!!!!! The only people that were dancing were kids cause the music just was HORRIBLE.  This is not what I envisioned for my wedding I have been planning for years. The dj announced the last dance and the floor was empty. This was an African American crowd and the electric slide wasn't even played. Im thoroughly dissatisfied and let down. Beat Fleet did not meet their agreement to providing a party I expected and laid out. I suggest your Djs get well versed in ALL music,  learn how to read a room and stick to what is asked. How are we going to rectify this.  I feel as if I fufiled my obligations to pay, which was alot! However BeatFleet did not. The only positive was Rocio was great with the crowd while doing toast and transitions from traditional dances. read more

These guys were amazing!!!! I met Chris and Jorge at a bridal expo, and decided to meet with them for a consultation. They took the time to get to know me and my fiancé and find out what exactly we expected and liked. They also took the time to explain what they like to do and offer suggestions and feedback which was extremely helpful! when it came down to picking songs, we weren't really sure exactly what kind of music our guests would be into, so Chris requested the freedom to make executive decisions during the wedding to keep people dancing. He was very professional and was great at communicating with us and the other vendors. He took a lot off of our plate and made this day great. Though our wedding was last year (sept 2017), I wanted to leave a review because these guys were AMAZING. I lived on the other side of the country and needed a dj for our wedding in CA and going in blind. I worked with Jorge and he was the best. The dance party was one of our top priorities...we love to dance and our friends do too...but we're not huge fans of the "typical" wedding playlists (no YMCA for us!). After discussing our vibe and giving them a few must-play songs, they did the rest and made everything PERFECT! They also did our ceremony sound, and we went with the upgraded lighting and were able to customize a monogram that was projected over the dance floor that made everything feel more personal. Jorge was great to work with all around. My wife and I were extremely pleased as were our guest. They did Hip Hop, Old School Funk, Latin music , Reggae, and Top 40. They catered to our diverse group of friends and family. People started dancing before they were supposed to because the music was on point. They did a good job of engaging the crowd. If you are having a bi-lingual English/Spanish wedding then you need Jorge as your DJ/MC. Even if you're not doing a bi-lingual wedding, you still need Beat Fleet at your wedding!! Our wedding was 5/14/16 and everyone had a blast! We had guests that spoke English only and guests that spoke Spanish only. Jorge kept everyone in the loop and repeated everything in English/Spanish. My wife and I decided to have Chris and Jorge DJ our wedding in July 2012 at Grand Island Mansion by chance, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made. After our DJ we were going to book fell through, I stumbled across Beat Fleet DJs on the Internet and gave them a call. Through the initial process, I spoke with Chris on the phone countless times, and he was was informative and professional. After an initial meeting with Chris and Jorge, we decided to give them a shot. My job for the wedding was booking the DJ. After being quite the procrastinator in the process, and having our initial DJ fall through, I was not quite sure what to expect from a DJ service which I found last minute, but I was hopeful. Needless to say, Chris and Jorge came through with flying colors. Leading up to the day of the wedding, we made changes to our reception timeline, songs, and ceremony timeline almost daily. Chris and Jorge were awesome in going with the flow of the changes, and catering to our every need. With countless emails and phone calls that were always returned promptly, we finally felt as though we had the wedding day set. A couple weeks before our wedding day, we got lucky in that Chris and Jorge were able to DJ another wedding at our venue (which was quite tricky with an unusual setup), so that it was not their first time at the venue when ours came around. Chris let us know exactly what went well, what could be changed, and what he thought would work out well with our specific requirements. That was HUGE for us because we needed that prior knowledge from a DJ with our tricky wedding. On the day of the wedding, Chris and Jorge were there in plenty of time for set up, and even dealt brilliantly with a minor microphone malfunction on our part that ended up being fixed before the wedding. Then came the reception, which was again a tricky and unusual timeline of events. Chris as the MC, and Jorge on the 1's and 2's, worked awesome together and kept our guests entertained and dancing the entire night. Even when there was a power surge which turned off all of their equipment (No fault of their own) in the middle of song, they kept it light and funny and had the party going again in no time. At the end of the night we had a surprise where we jumped in the pool without any of our guests knowing ahead of time. Chris and Jorge again handled this great , even when Chris had to stall the guests who all had lit sparklers in their hands, and I tried not to burn my hand off lighting a sparkler, all the while having Chris frantically look for a lighter because of a slight wind. All in all, Chris and Jorge did an outstanding job, were worth every penny and more of there very affordable price, and we were thankful to have found them at the last minute. I don't know that my wedding could have been half as entertaining/successful as it was without Beat Fleet. They met every request (even last minute, and I'm the worst with decisions) we had. Hands down BEST decision we made was booking Beat Fleets DJ for our wedding at Arden Hills!!! We initially heard of Beat Fleets through a referral and I am so glad we went with them. TJ was our MC and Tav was our DJ, both were absolutely amazing!! I was a very last minute bride which could be an inconvenience for a lot of vendors and the same time I was very particular in how I wanted things to go. TJ never made me feel rushed, was understanding of my hectic schedule and exceeded all of my expectations- especially in such a short amount of time that I provided him. I honestly don't think our wedding would have been the same without him and Tav. I was working directly with TJ and from the beginning he was very kind, professional and fun to work with. Weddings can be stressful at times but TJ made us feel so relaxed and that he had everything under control-which he did. I could not believe how well they put our list together and played all of the best songs the entire night, everyone was one the dance floor. I sent one picture to show an example of what kind of lighting I was looking for and they knew exactly what to do. My monogram was designed beautifully and I never even told them where to place it but of course they chose the best spot for it. Basically- TJ and Tav did THE BEST JOB without me having much time to explain how I wanted everything done. These guys know what they are doing and are so extremely good at what they do! From the start Beat Fleet DJs were amazing. We had our wedding on 7-23-16 - ceremony on the Capitol Steps and reception at the Elks Tower Ballroom. Chris was extremely helpful when it came to booking, taking over an hour to talk me through the details of each venue (which they had plenty of experience with) and working with my budget to get the finishing touches that would make our day special. Jorge was our DJ/MC and he was phenomenal! We had a live salsa band in addition to the DJ and he worked seamlessly with them. He arranged a timeline for us and made sure to check in with my husband and I during the reception to make sure everything was going well. He engaged with the guests, made sure they weren't bored while waiting for the buffet, sped things along when I asked him to, and was always available for me with a smile if I needed anything during the day. When I was initially booking the DJ and looking at my budget I had a few options that were a little less expensive than Beat Fleet. In the end, I am over the moon that we booked them, they really made sure that our day was truly special! read more
