Besides that, they were able to get us into houses that were not even on the market yet. When we finally found our dream house, we one of 12 offers on the house. Based on their expertise, our offer was competitive and complete. The selling agent told me that we were the only offer to come in with all paperwork filled out completely and correctly. When we priced everything out the cost ended up being the same as going with a fully custom local cabinet maker. They also had a painted door made for us 2 years ago to check the look of the door and told us it would be $100 if we ended up not going with them. We had to delay our project and picked up the door earlier this year after they got to use it for 2 years as a floor model and Lucy mentioned it had been damaged during that time. When I returned the door and informed Lucy that we were going with another cabinet maker Lucy said it was damaged and said she'd reduce the $400 (!!!) cost of the door to $150 to be "fair". Worst of all, she was condescending and accused me of using the door for another cabinet maker to copy the design which is not the case. We went elsewhere due to cost, better customization, and better customer service. If you're considering semi-customer cabinets, you can get full custom local made cabinets for the price Northeast charges.
