Esta mujer Beatriz (la dueña) me arruinó el cabello. Yo entre enseñándole una foto del color que yo quise. Yo ya tenia el color pintado. No estaba negro para nada, porque me hiso dos tratamientos de bleach?????? Y lo que vi VOL 40!! .......yo le dije varias veces por favor, no quiero dañar el cabello. Si no se puede por favor ponle otro color. No quiero seguir con el bleach. Ella me dice "no, te preocupes. Aqui cuidamos el pelo" yo le enseñe un color para que no comience el segundo tratamiento de bleach. standard dominican spot, the ladies were friendly and service on a monday afternoon was quick. I have medium length hair, and they charged me $20 for a blowout (pretty standard). As far as the blow-out, its not terrible, but definitely not the greatest. I had my hair done by an older lady with short red hair and while my hair is straight and blown out, it has no volume and no shape to the ends, it just goes straight down :/. In the end, I may go again, but I will do my hair with a different stylist. This spot seems to be kind of hit or miss, but can't complain too much since its only two blocks from home. read more

beware!!!!! the worst experience at a hair salon in my life! i thought i'd check out a new place and came here, big mistake! i had black hair and asked her to highlight just the top half blonde. i left with yellow and orange uneven highlights. the next day i went back with my mom so she can translate in spanish, another mistake! she died the top half of my hair black again and redid the highlights. she added bleach on top of conditioner in my hair. this time... i left with blue and green highlights!!!! the first time i went she blew out my hair and said that since she only messed up my highlights she wasn't going to blow my hair out again unless i paid. she only washed the top half my hair. so when i left the 2nd time, i left with my top half curly with blue and green highlights. i can't believe i had such a horrible experience as i did with beatriz read more

After moving to Brooklyn and having to leave my wonderful stylist in Harlem I was desperate to find a Dominican run salon. I wasn't able to find one in bay ridge but thank goodness for this gem in nearby sunset park. I did go in during the middle of the week when I knew it wouldn't be busy and I was taken care of right away. The ladies are loud and spend most the time gossiping but they get the job done. Its a typical Spanish salon with all the usual suspects and I felt like I was back in Harlem. I got a relaxer and a trim and it came to $55 with a $5 tip which is what I used to pay at my old place. Marta who did my hair was awesome and she took great care of me. I will most definitely be going back for regular wash and sets. Like any salon expect it to be busiest on the weekends and be prepared to wait. Bring a book or ur iPod if u have to. read more

I've been going to this hair salon for the past 10 years!! no matter where i am living at i always travel to her! she is the best of the best!! she is the only p[person who dye's my hair the right way and exactly the color i want!!! i always give her a hard time because i always end up coloring my hair dark brown and then i make her dye it back to my light brown and blonde highlights! and on top of that i request for her to match my hair extensions and she always gets it right!! Really great salon! They get the job done very well, -"are reasonably priced and super nice. I love the fact they use good products to wash hair and condition it. I will recommend anyone to go to Beatriz and you will be very happy with your hair.By the way very reasonable prices i got a hair cut, blow color and whole head highlights for $90.00 I use to pay double that else where and was never happy.
