I wish I could give less than one star. The stylist completely ruined my hair. I went to get a wash and blow out and trim,I wanted to give a salon in my neighborhood a chance and I really shouldn't have. My hair looked great but when I went to wash it my hair didn't revert back to it's 4c state. There is extensive heat damage and no damage should be present especially at this level since this is the first time I had heat in my hair in over two years. Not only is there damage but my hair feels and looks like a completely different texture than it did before I went to this salon. So I've been coming here for a couple years now for many reasons, but mainly because the ladies here genuinely care about the well being of your hair. They're also amazing and make you feel welcome and comfortable. My favorite stylist is Vanessa! She's amazing- constantly reminding me of things I should do to improve the health of my hair- and more so because she's genuinely amazing and funny- makes my 1.5-2hr time here worth it. Though, Vanessa's my go to, when she isn't available I wouldn't have a problem entrusting the needs of my hair to any of the other ladies because they show equal care and attention to my hair. DONT just take your brush to hair that has not been properly detangled. I have select words for you all but I'm a new lady. I had been going upstate with my sister to get my hair done when the whole time this place was just across the avenue. I checked out the Yelp reviews and decided to give it a chance. I'm sooo glad I did! I had my hair dyed in the past and needed it re-done. I got highlights, cut, washed, rollers and dried. I spent half the day there but it was worth it. I'm extremely happy with my hair! If you need your hair brought back to life. Look no further! I'm reluctant to give the stylist name for selfish reasons, but she deserves every praise. SOooo.... Where do I begin?!?... I stumbled across this FANTASTIC salon 2 years ago and this is the BEST salon ever. It's very welcoming, everyone is so nice, and each styist has "growing hands" if you know what I mean. When I first came to this salon my hair was greatly damaged and now it's as healthy as it can be. To be quite honest, this place is MY LAST STOP when it comes to hair care. Ahhh yeah!! Will definitely be going hair once a month. I took my braids out and needed a good wash and set near my apartment. It gets tiresome having to travel to Harlem or Bronx to get a wash and set. This place is not far from me and they know how to handle my hair. I left there feeling like a million bucks. My hair feels so shiny and healthy and has a bounce. Yes the heat is crazy but thats a Dominican blowout. I'm tender headed but the stylist was nice about it. The price for me was decent because although my hair is short, its very thick and non relaxed. Overall, this will be my go to spot for wash and set and deep condition. Oh, they also move fast which I love because it's nothing more upsetting than to be in the salon all day. read more

I got a perm and rinse by this salon on Sunday and it was terrible. My hair is dry and frizzy because the beautician did not put any conditioner in my hair. Some of the perm got on my face and she did not apologized. She put the rinse in my hair and put me under the dryer without a plastic cap. She told me she would be back in 10 mins but I had to go and get her and she was on her phone. She did not comb my hair under the water to get out the tangles. When she was rolling my hair it was so tangled that she had to keep pulling my hair and head to get the comb to go through it. My hair looks terrible. The manager was aware of how the beautician was treating me but she said nothing. read more

I've been here a few times and the experience just gets worst. I was in just recently and asked for a wash and blow, now my hair has length but not too long. The woman was going to charge me $40 now that's just ridiculous. Instead of asking me how do I want my hair she sits me down and says do you know how much it is? That's rude and unprofessional. They act like you should be happy they are servicing you. They are not friendly. I chose this place because it's very pretty and clean inside but the attitudes of the workers do not reflect that. They need to make their clients feel welcomed and not as if your privileged because they are doing your hair. Last time! Never Again! read more

Idek where to start but I must say this if you are African American with long beautiful health hair this is not the place for you. I had just came back from vacation and needed a good blow out and wash, I came here before on my birthday and Nora I believe did an excellent job ! She took her time and treated my hair with care. Anyways the day I went she wasn't there so I was kind of disappointed but the owner washed my hair so I figured I'm in good hands...NOT ! Let me just say this not only did she speed wash my hair as if she had somewhere to go (the place was empty) she kept hitting my head against the wash bowl like she was pissed off smh to the point where when I got to the chair to put in the rollers one of my earrings was missing! Then when she started putting the conditioner she would hold the middle of my hair and pull to get the knots out SB: my hair is to the top of my butt and I have a perm, there's no reason to be treating my hair as such. But that's what she did, by then I was so annoyed I wanted to leave but a blonde lady came to put in the rollers and I figured thank god I don't have to deal with this anymore...I WAS WRONG !! Idk what was worst her popping her gum as she did my hair or her pulling out my hair as well. I seriously wish I took pictures so you guys could understand the amount of hair on the floor. Then when she started blowing out my hair she got mad because I put my own heat protector without acknowledging her about it then had the owner come over to tell me why I shouldn't have put that on my hair (no other salon ever had an issue side eye). All in all this wash and set w. a blow out and having my hair wrapped was $42 DOLLARS !!!! NEVER AGAIN . If your hair is short or your Spanish I'm sure you'll have no issues but if you have long beautiful black hair do not trust these ppl to have patience and care for your hair at all. read more

I have been going to Tiffanys for a long time, even before they relocated 2 doors down. The owner is very nice and at times I will go with braids for about 2 years and come back to Tiffany's and everyone remembers you. Great atmosphere and a secured environment. Reasonable prices. read more
