Tried this place late December when I wasn't able to go to my regular place and I was pleasantly surprised. The women working inside are so very sweet and helpful. The inside is decorated very vibrantly and it smells good. I have had two Brazilians and a brow threading. Since I went to this place in December, it has become my go to. Highly recommend. read more

Since then my face has healed nicely and the owner Ms. Zinkal reached out to me and sincerely apologized for my experience. I give 5 stars for her professionalism and trying to make it right. I have been here a few time since my initial visit. Service is always friendly, so no problems there. My issue as of late would have to be the consistency of the finished product. My lashes have been just ok. I attribute this to the fact that another girl has done them the last couple of times. The finished product is just not as satisfying. I even had to go back 3 days after services bc my left lash was already coming off. Unacceptable. This also happened to a friend of mine recently. We are both pretty sure our lashes are uneven. Lol. I think moving forward I'm going to have to book an appt with the girl who does the best work or find someone else to do my lashes. It's too many of these shops to just " settle", especially since none of this is being done complimentary! read more

I was really excited to see a brow bar in Trussville. It meant that I wouldn't have to travel 20+ minutes to my normal location, so I was very eager to try to this business. This rating is based on two visits... my first visit wasn't great, 2nd was absolutely horrendous. The woman who does the threading (and other services, I assume) is very harsh and easily distracted. She talked to customers and another employee (or relative) in the store WHILE she worked on my eyebrows. She was looking AT THE DOOR while she moved the thread across my eyebrows. I asked her to "clean up my brows" and to keep them thick, and both times, my eyebrows came out thinner than they have been in 5 years. And women.. you know how this feels... and how long it takes to get our brows back in shape. The 2nd time I left, she told me that one of my brows looked perfect, the other looked horrible. Horrible! Yes! I couldn't believe my ears! And this was after she had worked on them. Ughh.. never again. read more

I visited this location based on a friend's referral. I went in for their lash extensions service. They offer a lot of different services and also have a small store at the entrance that sells women purses, jewelry and etc. I like the professionalism that the lash tech showed as well as the end result. Met these lovely ladies and enjoyed talking with them. Decided to get a service done by them and was really disappointed. I was very specific about what I wanted and instead of them telling me they didn't have it, they did their own thing. I asked three times if they were doing that and they assured me they weren't. Also I did not see them clean any of their supplies after finishing up with me and moving onto another client. Again, they were very nice but their quality of the work is not good. read more

the people up front was relatively friendly, so was the lady who did my brazilian wax. but i did notice she applied and pulled the wax from the wrong direction, and when she was finished she wiped me... from back to front. multiple times. i was mortified!! and now a few weeks later i am suffering the consequences of incorrect application and removal of wax. i have ingrown hairs... EVERYWHERE!!! also afterwards, due to the direction she applied and removed i had many hairs that simply broke off so i looked like a patchy monster within days. this was my first and last experience here, my other waxes have never been this way, i wax regularly and i should've left as soon as i saw the state of the wax room, dirty and quite questionable. i did exfoliate properly beforehand and like i said, never had ingrown hair like this. it looks like someone sprinkled pepper all over my crotch. i won't be returning and the price for the wax was much more than advertised on their website, 20$ more. read more
