Soizic does amazing things with her facial that I haven't seen anywhere else. She is a very gentle person from Brittany. The hour-long "classique" included a big dose of body work on my back, and some hot stones. The products she uses are strongly-scented botanicals, with menthol a big component. Thankfully, she doesn't push product (hate it when facialists give me the hard sell). Instead, she gave me a cute little bag of samples and a schedule for how to use them. I might actually start to cleanse and moisturize at night. Spending an hour with Soizic, listening to her soothing blend of Chamber Music, Early Symphonies, and New Age tunes, had me believing some of her French beauty and sophistication might rub off on me. If you want to feel pampered, you need to go to Soizic. She is so nice and professional. I had the most difficult time getting there because of my car not starting and having to take the bus. Even though I did make my appointment before the scheduled time, I was so frazzled when I got there. However, as soon as I stepped into the waiting, I felt so much calmer and relaxed. The from the services take place in was so perfect. I went to Soizic as a birthday gift to myself and it was worth every penny. The room wasn't stuffy and the temperature was right. I was actually surprised she had a robe big enough for my size because the first place I went to didn't have anything big enough for me to wrap myself in so I wouldn't feel naked. I felt like I was in a warm cocoon the entire time. I got the Optimizer treatment to make my skin feel brighter and smoother. She also gave me a hot stone massage on my shoulders and back, which I never had done before. The only painful part was the extraction process. That hurt so bad but was worth it. Wow, I can't believe I haven't yelped Soizic yet. Simply put, she is amazing. I had never had a facial before and wasn't sure I wanted one since most people I talked to about facials said something along the lines of "it kind of hurts and your face will be red and blotchy for a little while but it is soooo worth it later on!". I didn't see the appeal. Anyway, I was gifted a facial with Soizic and went to her for the first time about a year and a half ago. I got the hot stone massage add on. Though the building isn't much from the outside, the inside waiting room that is shared by several other practitioners is calm and relaxing. Soizic is just so kind and welcoming from the first time you meet her. Her treatment room is warm and the table is wonderfully comfortable. She uses great products, tells you what they are but by no means pushes them on you. She leaves it to the customer to ask how to buy them so you never feel pressured. The experience is great: the extractions to hurt but everything else feels incredible and my skin looks great right afterwards (no blotchiness or redness). I am trying to limit myself to going every six months because it does cost money. I keep trying to convince myself this is medically necessary but I quite gotten spare money together for every 2-3 months like I think is recommended for facials. I have my next appointment this month and have been looking forward to it for some time now. That is the one piece of advice I will give: make sure you schedule in advance, I'm not the only person who loves Soizic! read more

And then when she's done with the facial, she tops it off with a really good neck and upper back massage. The only problem...it has to end. I went to Soizic a year ago and absolutely loved the experience. The room is very comfortable and the products that she uses are luxurious - love Yonka!
