This is my go-to place for massages. I have had massages from several different massage therapists and they have all been good. Rebekah, however, is my favorite. Her massage skills are good; she is very attentive to pressure and direction; and her personality is warm and caring - which adds to the nurturing aspect of the experience. Pro Tip for those unfamiliar with Asian massage tipping culture: the massage itself is relatively inexpensive (compared to a "Western" massage), however it is customary to tip at least 30% to the massage therapist. That is simply what is expected, so factor it into the price of the massage. I mention this only because I have seen other reviews for here (and at other places) where people got a massage and thought that their 20 % tip was a good one, only to see or hear disappointment on the faces of those receiving what was intended to be a good tip. There is a different cultural expectation and practice at play here. I recommend that you temporarily let go of your typical US thinking about tips (e.g., they are entirely optional; 20% is a great tip), in order to be on the same page as your provider and everyone working at the establishment. I didn't mean to go off so much about the differences tipping culture! My friend and I have been coming here for the last couple of months. We booked a couple massage although we're not a couple and I found it to be relaxing. They were all speaking Mandarin and although I don't speak (my friend does), it sounded like aunties speaking/gossiping with each other and I found it to be comforting. My friend was holding court and was talking about where she went to school and what kind of job she has now. I only know this because she didn't have the translation for computer science and engineer. The hot stones were very pleasant. Although the beds were warmed, the ambient air was not that warm but they did provide more towels and sheets than last time. It might just be the new Bay Area weather for winter. The massages are priced very reasonably by comparison to a lot of spa treatments around here. Came here twice for 90 minute massages and thoroughly enjoyed the massages both times. I had Rebekah and she was very nice and had a great technique, however I did not really like her comments about my body being very nice multiple times. Felt a bit weird, even though I know she was just being friendly. The prices are very cheap for the bay area and that was a huge draw for me. It's definitely not a ritzy massage place or resort type place. It's in a strip mall. But don't let that detract from the quality of the massage. The first time I went, the massage was probably one of the best massages I've had. The second time around was good but not as good, especially because she was about 10 minutes late and I was just laying there for what felt like forever. They do know how to get in deep but make sure you specify your pressure preference. I would've appreciated if she asked me before the massage if I had any injuries or if I wanted anything focused on, but I had to inform her myself because I've had multiple massages and know what I need to do. The addition of the hot stones was very nice but she kept going and coming in and out of the room multiple times which ate away at my time. The place is pretty clean but I didn't really like how loud it was from my room. My partner came with me the second time around and I could hear the conversation in his room next door, even the back slapping was audible. The staff speaks broken English so it's harder to communicate. It's a bit awkward how the therapists wait at the front for you to tip them. I prefer tipping just at the front desk with a receptionist because it's less awkward but that's just me. read more

Like many others, I asked for Steve and he studied massage techniques from china using traditional style focusing on pressure point. He combines Thai and Chinese style in his massages with strong pressure and stretches. He also steps on your back and can crack your back- for those who haven't tried it please do! Back stepping has been around for a long time and it's like a Chiro appointment all in one. $50 for an hour- remember to tip!!! They work 7 days a week, 10-12 hours a day. Got a 1.5 hr massage from LinNa. I usually only go to a couple of places but thought I'd try this place out. Was not really expecting much so I was surprised the massage was pretty good. Masseuse was really working on the knots in my shoulders and upper back. Usually my calves are sore from being worked on and it goes back to normal. But after almost 18 hrs they are still sore (I take it as a good thing?) Would definitely come back for more massages. At first glance , the outside appearance isn't aesthetically pleasing. Between sitting between a liquor store and random stores , it doesnt give the feeling of relaxing. My spouse surprised me with a 1hr deep tissue massage. The massage wasn't relatively expensive. It only totaled to $60 bucks. The front desk was pretty clean. I am just not a fan of how dark it can be during the evening. The service personnel check temperature and offer sanitizer. Massage room looks clean. No weird smells , sheets seemed sanitized. The only issue with the room was the condition of the body oil. It was just a random bottle of oil with no label. They should let the customer know what they are using in case of allergies. My deep tissue was a little rough but needed. My female masseuse deep tissue was a 7/10. I enjoyed the pressure on my back mostly. She was diligent on asking if I was okay throughout the session. Both sides were massaged thoroughly. The massage also included a hot stone treatment. The issues here were , the slapping of the legs were a little to hard and not relaxing at all. She didn't wash her hands in between . She went from rubbing oil all over my body and now my face is being touched . Overall , I would give my experience an 8/10. She was very very rough and j had to tell her on multiple occasions to lighten the pressure to no avail. I have had to go to the doctors and acupuncture to get this rectified and am still in excruciating pain. What was meant to be a self-care day has become months of agony and additional costs.
