As a guy I was always going to the barbershop and they would trim my eyebrows however it would never last more than three days. I have been going to Beautif-EYE for over a year now and had always had a great experience. I'm not sure if they have gotten too busy and rushed or if the technician just had a bad day. It is not often that I leave a beauty service feeling like I look worse than I did when I came in, but that is what happened today with my eyebrow threading. I was left with such a small line of an eyebrow, with almost no shape, there is not much that can be done to fix it except wait the months that it will take to grow out. I am due for a retouch for my microblading, so hoping that will help. But will be looking elsewhere for that service. Edited: Mercie (owner) called me after leaving this review. She felt terrible about my service and has refunded my payment. She apologized profusely and has spoken with her staff and did some retraining. My previous visits here have all been excellent. Based on her response, I have updated my review. I really appreciated her response and empathy. I plan to try their services again with a different technician. Anesia (im so sorry, i prob spelt it wrong) does a great job. Part of me doesnt want to say her name because I dont want you all booking with her!! Ive had my brows done several times with her now, each time they were clean and shaped perfectly, and I got my lashes permed before all this corona virus craziness started. She did a great job. Took her time, was sanitary and the finished result turned out perfectly... ill be back for that touch up soon girl!!! First time eyebrow threading today during my lunch hour and told myself, I am not going back to waxing anymore. Threading is so much better experience than waxing. I contacted them via Yelp this morning. Owner responded me back fairly quick to set up an appointment on the same day during my lunch hour. This was my first time threading. I've seen a travel show a long time ago where they did facial hair threading and I told myself, if I ever get chance to visit that country, I would try... I never got to visit there but my chance to try came here in North Scottsdale. Ariel took care of me. I told her this was my first time and don't know what to expect. She told me to tell her stop anytime if I needed a break from pains. She was so good, I didn't even feel the pain. In fact I was so relaxed on the chair as she was so gentle. I was wearing a little too short skirt and unexpectedly, a male customer was sitting next to me. I felt uncomfortable at first sitting there with my short skirt but then I realize his eyes were closed too. I didn't realize how many men actually visit to shape their eyebrows as well. Ariel was so careful, she made sure I was happy with what she was doing by asking for my feedback. Now I experienced threading, no way I am going back to waxing. Good experience, I am coming back again in three to four weeks. First time visit is only $9. Regular price is $15. I wonder if I come back for my second visit and claim it is my first time? lol, jk. I like it so much, I am happy to pay $15 from my second visit. read more

Thelma did a good job reshaping my eyebrows and helping to make them more even. However, when I got home I noticed she had taken off a big chunk of my skin, right between my brows! I explicitly stated that I can't wear makeup to work before she started, and now I can't even cover this up... I'm happy with my brow shape, although I showed her a picture of my shape a few years ago that I really wanted to get back, and they don't really look like that. She did ask me how I liked the shape after threading, but once my brows were thinned out, there was really no going back. I'm also of course upset about this unsightly gash, but maybe my skin was difficult to work with, I don't know. Everyone was very nice and Thelma was very attentive and considerate. Some pros and cons, so 3 stars for an overall average experience. read more

I've been going to beautifeye for years for eyebrow threading! I try and book with Alora, but honestly all of the girls are so good! Threading is so fast with minimal pain and my eyebrows always look so good afterwards. I recently started getting my lash extensions done here and I'm so happy. I've had my lashes done at other places and it was painful and the glue was applied so thick so my lash experience at Beautif-EYE gave me hope. I would not recommend doing full face if you have tender or sensitive skin. It hurts, like bad, but I was told after a few regular sessions it gets better. My brows turned out great, but I left and quickly welts arose all over my face. I followed their instructions and washed my face as soon as I got home (6 -7 minuets later). Then, within the next 24 hours I have what looks like teenage acne. I did not do the aloe as they said that can some times cause breakouts. The teenage acne look is not what I was hoping for at Easter brunch. But my brows do look good, that is the reason for the two stars. read more

When I do get in I feel like they do a great job, however I never have the same problem at the old town location. Neither location is convenient to where I live and so I tried to attack this onto another appointment I had an area. This was my first time going here and if it's your first time you get a $10 brow thread. I came in 5 minutes before my appt time and was taken right back - that's a plus! I love the tech who did my brows. What I appreciated about her the most is she took the time to ask me what the goal of my brows were. I loved that! It was nice of her to check up with me to see if I'm satisfied with her work and my brows. The studio was clean, however it would be nice if the chairs were a bit further apart from on another for a little bit if privacy. It's so hard to find your brow person, but when you know, you know! I stumbled upon this place via google search. I tried a few of the brow artists until I found Anesia. Now, I make an appointment every three(ish) weeks to get my brows threaded by her. Appointments are definitely the way to go. Otherwise, it's impossible to get in or you will have a wait. Anesia is AMA-ZING! She has her craft down and she always takes the time to make sure my brows are absolutely perfect before walking out of the door. The only downfall is the price, but it is understandable that it is a bit higher than most as the salon is in N Scottsdale, which is a pricier area. It is more than double what I have normally paid, but definitely worth it when I can guarantee beautiful brows each visit, thus the reason for the 4 star review. I'm very picky about my brows & lashes. I've been here three times , and have got my lashes done three times & brows done twice. First with the brows, they only do threading, which is amazing because I break out in little bumps whenever I get waxed, I have been threaded before at PV mall and they totally trashed my brows. I had literally straight lines for brows, no arch, nothing! Plus the pain was UNBELIEVABLE. So of course coming here I was super hesitant. Diana, (not sure if that's how to spell it), did a great job! No pain, always offers aloe for the redness, and the first time I had a shape back, thank goodness!! No complaints at all! She makes sure everything is flawless. For lashes, I have had both Sara and Aimee. Sara is a sweetheart & so funny. She made sure my eyelashes were perfect, none of them were flipped, and listened to my preference. Aimee is so funny! She's awesome. She had to get me a full set again, and I had again told her how exactly I wanted it. Of course she catered to exactly what I wanted. The both of them took a long time, which is great because I know that my money is getting what it's worth. Opposed to other lash places that I've been to where they do 60 minutes and if it looks bad, and there's gaps, oh well. No here! Both the girls make sure they did everything done. They are both perfectionists which I love because I know they care about my lashes as much as I do. They will never put anything on your lashes that your lashes them self can't handle. I love that because I could lose my lashes and not have any, but they care! Everyone, including reception, are great, happy, cheerful people.
