I followed the post instructions of rinsing with no soap & lukewarm water. My feet were still kinda orange, the smell gave me a headache and it only lasted me about 3-4 days, not one week. She got eyebrow tint in my freshly bleached hair now I have this dark spot of dye on the front of my blonde hair. This was my first time ever going to get an eyebrow tint and I am petrified that this happened. I hid in the room and cried. I absolutely love this place! It's been years since I've done a spray tan and have been wanting to get one done. My clinician was Kelly, and she is absolutely amazing! I'm used to the whole old school booth spray tan and always hoping for the best outcome (which is rare). I haven't ever had someone spray me before. This is definitely the way to go. My tan looks amazing! I look bronze and not fake. Kelly was great at getting me so even and getting every single area. She explained the aftercare so well. I didn't feel rushed, and now I have an amazing tan like I just came from the beach. The clinic is super cute and has an adorable waiting area. I called up this am to get an appt. They asked what tan I wanted and I replied ....the same as I always get.. When I arrive, they take me back and start spraying and when I finish to pay, I'm charged almost 20.00 more than I'm used to. The girl said she was sorry and didn't even offer to charge me what I'm used to paying, and said she would put in file the tan I usually do for the next time. I'm not sure there will be a next time. Those aren't freckles.. speckles from my spray tan Got a weird, creepy message from them on SM a few years back but thought I'd give them a chance since they are the closest spray tan place to me and maybe their social Media person has no experience But even their rooms are set up where if you get a spray tan naked and someone walks by the room with the door open there's just no privacy. + places I usually go to have feet pads... not a dirty towel to step on so my feet now look dirty. Had been getting waxed elsewhere for a couple of years, but they recently closed. It never hurt at all. I tried sugar sugar and "ouch". Really hurt and is still stinging hours later. The hair was not even taken off completely. The staff are lovely The girl was sweet, but made an unintentional insult at the start, so I already felt weird and uncomfortable. I wanted to love it, but I'm off to find somewhere else. I actually just removed a star because it's been a week and it's grown back in places. It was also more expensive than my other place. Amber is my sugaring queen. She's a funny, rad, sweet little badass who is keen to get you as smooth as you desire. She's quick and super thorough and I honestly can't recommend her enough. I know I've talked a bit about sugaring in my previous review, but here's a refresher: Sugaring is similar to waxing, but much less painful. Plus it doesn't irritate skin as much thanks to the sugar only adhering to the hair, unlike waxing which also grabs on to your skin. I have been coming here for years. Aimee runs a top notch business and Tarah is an amazing esthetician! I hadn't been in a few months due to the mandatory covid shut down. Aimee was able to get me in quickly after their reopening. My appointment was yesterday. Prior to my appointment I received an appointment confirmation text as always. But this time, they added a covid questionnaire to make sure I was not 'at risk' for carrying the virus. I was also informed that I needed to wear a mask and to call upon arrival rather than come into the lobby. I arrived a few minutes early and within just a few minutes I received a call back to enter the shop. I was greeted by the same happy staff as always and was asked to please use hand sanitizer which was provided on the counter. My appointment with my Tarah was great, as usual. I was frantically phoning various lashing studios yesterday (which was considered a holiday being after New Years), and finally reached a live person at Sugar Sugar. Initially, the receptionist relayed that they were booked but could schedule me later in the week. But, later she noticed a cancellation and got me in for a full set of mink eyelash extensions for 3pm!! I got very lucky and had Amber apply my extensions and she is Uh-Ma-Zing!! Very personable and made me feel like royalty as she offered a pillow for under my knees, dimmed the lights, played soothing music, offered CORE water, etc etc. Lashing is a very delicate craft and quite tedious as a process. Also, it's very hard for me to lie down for several hours with someone monkeying around near my eyes. She completed a full set for me in less than 2 hours and my lashes looked glamorous and better than I expected! I asked for thick and long lashes (15s, so I'm told are pretty long) and she more than delivered! Sugar Sugar is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Their restroom is large with helpful items such as makeup remover wipes for clients, etc. Clients are also offered coffee/tea and/or CORE water (which is one of the best waters, IMO). There are products displayed for sale, and a nice, comfy waiting area to the left of reception area. Everyone there was genuinely friendly and helpful, which scores high in my world. They do offer other services besides lashing, such as spray tanning and sugaring (hair removal) which I'm excited to try in the future. They aren't cheap, but you also get what you pay for. Scheduling system is on-point also as I received an email confirming my appointment as well as a follow-up email that "thanked me" for my patronage after I left. **TIP: Sign up for specials on their website; all new clients receive $5 off any service! I have been to Sugar Sugar twice for organic spray tans. I LOVE this place. From when you first walk in you will instantly be welcomed with an amazing scent and a friendly hello. The spray tans here won't leave you smelling like a weird chemical. They smell awesome and give your skin the right amount of tan without looking orange. Also I never seem to get any staining on my feet that looks funky. I haven't yet taken advantage of their other services but plan to soon! read more
