We arrived just a few minutes before our appointments which were scheduled at opening. The receptionist (also a Massage Therapist) was there and waiting for our arrival. It is a small place with what looks like just 2 massage rooms. We were shown to our respective rooms and asked to get ready for our sessions. Shortly thereafter my Massage Therapist arrived. She did a great job with pressure and checking in to see if the pressure was satisfactory. By the the time she got to my feet foe reflexology, I was so relaxed I dozed off...maybe 3 or more times. The entire experience was relaxing and helped to alleviate some tightness/pain that I was experiencing in my lower back. I really enjoyed the treatment here and would consider coming back if I were a local.

It is rare to find this combination of heal-you and relax-you talent in one person. Too often the healing hurts or the relaxation doesn't heal. So I very, very highly recommend Stephanie Panfili. My wife wanted a massage and I've been wanting to learn how to give her a better massage. We happened upon Austin Body Therapy and noticed one of their offerings was a couples massage class. Or maybe we just went in and asked them if they could give us a class. In any case, we met with one of their massage therapists, Stephanie L. Panfili, LMT. She was warm, friendly, an excellent massage therapist and an amazing teacher. We paid $65.00 for one hour, but she ended up spending nearly two hours with us (and did not ask for any extra money... she just kept saying how much she truly enjoyed working with us and teaching us). She said in the time she spent training me, she had covered the first 4 or 5 months of massage school. She said it was because I was such a good student, but I think it's because she's such a good teacher. My wife decided to be the recipient since she wanted a massage and I wanted to learn how to massage. My wife was a happy noodle of relaxation when we were done, and I was so excited to have discovered a new skill set. Best money spent on a massage ever, hands down. Not only was it a truly wonderful massage, the training was equally wonderful, and the whole experience was other worldly. We floated out of there in a happy bliss bubble. Can't say enough good things about the well-appointed, cozy massage room or the massage itself or the training but especially of Stephanie, the massage therapist. At that point when the lady returned (it was a good 5 minutes later) I was no longer into the massage as the relaxation part was interrupted. On top o that they charge you $3 for charging on a credit card. Altogether poor experience and not great service - difficult to communicate with them as well. I will say the lady massaging me was kind and I am sure she was doing her best and didn't intend to make me feel so uncomfortable - regardless if you are running a business it's critical to be mindful toward the level of service customers are getting or you loss them! Also, she found nearly every pain pressure point in my back, neck, face, legs, arms, hands and feet. It took a full 90 minutes, At my request I paid for extra time on my 60 minute session to finish the good progress Coco was making. When she finished I could walk out of the spa without pain. I went home and was able to move several hundred pounds of fence material in my back yard without being crippled! Thank you Aurora Spa!
