I recently had my second boudoir shoot in October by Teresa. This time did not go as well the first time. I did get some good photos, but I was very disappointed in Teresa and the way she treated me. We had an appointment booked in August, but I caught Covid, and when I called the day before the shoot to tell her I wasn't feeling well, she wanted me to come in anyway, saying "colds don't show up on film."  That didn't sit well with me, but I liked the photos from the first photoshoot and we rescheduled for after my vacation. If I had the energy to make it into my shoot the next day, I would have infected Teresa AND her makeup artist, who has a child.  The makeup artist was lovely and was a joy to work with. Teresa wasn't. During the session, Teresa seemed rushed and distracted, and forgot I requested her basement/dungeon area. She had to run down there and quickly clean it, mumbling something to the effect of "wish I would have known about it before hand." This dungeon request was documented in an email and I had examples of dungeon photos on my inspiration sheet, she just forgot.  As I stood wearing a long, black nightgown, she asked me to step on the hem to "help hide my pregnant belly,"  I am not pregnant, but rather perimenopausal. That's exactly the type of comment a  middle aged woman wants to hear while getting photographed in lingerie. It made me feel SO beautiful and sexy! I had put on a few pounds since the last shoot (6 years ago), and I felt my poses had me squished and leaning over, letting my tummy sag, versus  elongating the body. I used to be a photographer, so  I know a bit about posing. I understand how angles can enhance or exaggerate the body. The inspiration shots weren't squishy and bent over, I was questioning this in my head during the shoot, but, as I wasn't the one looking in the camera, I trusted her. The last shoot didn't have squishy photos, so I wonder if the unflattering posing was deliberate. During the previews, as we were looking at an image that accentuated my behind, she told me that I had a hairy ass and needed to get a better wax job! Why was she looking at my ass crack? And, who cares? Maybe I like having a hairy butt crack, to each her own, right? The photo in question is my husband's least favorite. He said the side angle made my thighs look huge. I thought so too, but didn't say anything in the preview session. Why? I had a feeling, based on her previous comments, such as my pregnant belly and hairy ass, if I had said, "you made my thighs look big", she would have said " that's because they are big."  I won't use her again for any type of photography. I spent a LOT of money to feel like crap and that's just not something I am into. read more

I recently had a bridal boudoir shoot done by Teresa for a gift to my fiancé. To say I'm having a hard time keeping these gorgeous photos to myself is an understatement. Teresa made me feel STUNNING from beginning to end. I was nervous of course, but Teresa made me feel so comfortable right off the bat. The shoot was so fun and exciting, and Teresa's expertise made me feel like a real model! It was hot that day, and Teresa made sure I was taking breaks to get some air and had water. I had an amazing time, and the pictures I have are literally breathtaking. On top of that, I had my hair and makeup done by Christine before the shoot. Let me echo what other reviewers are saying -- get your hair and makeup done by Christine! Doing your regular at-home makeup will not cut it when you're getting your photos taken. Christine's hair and makeup looks amazing on camera, and I am so glad that was an option for me. This was a wonderful experience. Phenomenal!!! ...That is the one word that immediately comes to mind to describe T. I have been blessed to work with T a handful of times over the past 15 years. She is an absolute master of her craft and has a gift and a skill beyond comparison. I have worked with many photographers, from fashion to family shoots, and not one of them works as T does, or gets the results that T gets. T makes the experience so much fun and it really shines through in the final product. Ultimately, it amazes me the beauty she sees and her ability to capture it in a still shot. My last session with Teresa, I walked into my appointment feeling a little off and in a funk, by the time I left, I felt like a million bucks and smiling ear to ear. I rarely leave reviews. I've also never had a photo session, it was a gift And my friend knows it's not something I would've purchased for myself. But I am so thankful!! my hair and makeup were done there teresa assisted in what to where, for my body type, taking time to go over some basics. it helped me feel comfortable. just roll with it & let her work her magic. Teresa is professional, and extremely experienced. She looks at my body type & and help me choose for the best outcome and what I'm trying to achieve. she has a gift of seeing things through the lens and photographing your beauty inside and out. The one thing I would change, I wish I would've done it sooner. Hopefully if she's not too booked maybe for Valentine's Day I can surprise that special special someone. Teresa was amazing to work with during my bridal boudoir shoot. I felt so comfortable with her and she guided me along the way to get the best poses and facial expressions for the shot. I also LOVED her studio, which is a whole HOUSE. Every room is converted into mini studios and vignettes, so depending on the look/feel you want, Teresa will set the scene for you. I also decided to get hair and makeup done by her stylist the morning of my shoot, which was such a fun experience. I highly recommend getting it done by Christine because the type of makeup she uses will help make your skin glow while being photographed. Trust me you don't want to wear your "everyday" makeup while being photographed, as you may get washed out by the flash. Christine was very friendly and helped make my vision come to life. What I also loved about working with these ladies is they are so communicative and they ask you to share examples of the looks you want ahead of time. This "homework" was so helpful and made the shoot run smoothly. Ultimately I'm a big supporter of female run businesses and this one totally deserves a 5 star! The quality of my photos was terrific and Teresa helped me create lovely gifts for my husband-to-be. read more

I had the best boudoir experience with Teresa! I did a pre-wedding shoot. I was a little nervous as I'd never done anything like that before. Teresa made me feel very comfortable. I did a tour of the studio beforehand and she gave me an overview of the whole process and guidance on picking outfits and inspiration. Her hair and makeup artist did a fantastic job I had so much fun!!! It was an empowering experience that I would recommend to every woman. I hope to do it again someday. I was super nervous to do a nude shoot, but wanted to capture the beauty of my pregnant body to have and remember for years to come. We wanted to do a couples boudoir photo shoot, and Teresa was recommended by a friend. We went to meet with Teresa and see her studio, and knew immediately we were in good hands. She is fun, professional, and knows exactly how to handle the nervous excitement that comes with a photo shoot like this. She made us both feel completely comfortable, and gave us the most incredible day. Teresa is an expert at setting the picture up so that it comes out perfectly, but at the same time lets things happen naturally to capture some gorgeous photos. I did a pre-wedding boudoir shoot with Teresa. It was my first time doing one & had no idea what to expect. She met me for a quick chat one Saturday where she showed me around her studio (which is so cute & versatile!), explained the process, outlined the cost, and told me how to get ready & what to bring/wear. I also got to meet Christopher, her hair/makeup guy who is on the premises. And she is easily reachable & responsive by text, which I love. If you're a busy person who wants this to be really fun & quality, but also take a half day of your time, T is the one for you! My only homework was to send her some inspiration photos I liked, which she printed out and had ready on our shoot day. And get my outfits ready. Other than that, I just had to show up! The day of the shoot, she was so pleasant to work with & made me feel super comfortable the entire time. Not only was she super professional, her artistic eye captured my 7-month pregnant self in some of the most flattering pictures I've ever had. I was extremely nervous to do these photos for my fiancé's wedding gift, but it went great and I love my photos. I met Teresa first checked out the studio and her work, she made me feel very comfortable. I was also able to bring my fiancé's 67 camaro and take great pics on it, which he is going to love. Teresa is amazing! Like many others, this was my first time doing a sexy photo shoot and I was nervous, self-conscious, and very unsure about the whole experience. First, Christine did exactly what I wanted with my make-up and hair then Teresa started the magic and made me feel at ease and comfortable right away. She truly knows her stuff with the right lighting and poses. She figures out how to hide the flaws and accentuate the positive. I recently had photos taken as a Valentine's gift for my husband. The photos were a great gift and surprise for him. He said it was the best gift yet. Teresa was amazing and made me feel comfortable. I will cherish my beautiful red leather bound album forever. I was interested in a photoshoot, but wanted more than the typical boudoir shots. I researched many local photographers, and ultimately decided on Sexy by T - I was super comfortable with the way she presented everything on her website, she explained the process and timeline, gave suggestions for clothing and styles, and offered a wide variety of looks. I didn't feel I had to "fit in" to any particular look. You can wear as little or as much as you are comfortable with. The photos on her website (which, now includes a couple of me!) were tasteful, artistic and beautiful. She is upfront with costs, has a fantastic hair and makeup stylist on site, and a huge studio, along with a super fun dungeon. We also happen to wear the same size shoe, so I had a huge selection of awesome heels to wear (but my black leather thigh highs were my favorites). T made me feel totally comfortable from the start, she is fun and energetic, a great photographer. I will go in for another shoot again, and look forward to planning my outfits. read more
