It is at her home studio and it was very easy and pleasant to work with her! She def went the extra mile to help me get the good shots i needed. Contacted Pacifica Studio about professional headshots in early September 2025 and the owner and main photographer Kate was very responsive in sending me information, samples, and costing. I liked what I saw and was able to easily set up an appointment via an online portal. Selected 45 minute session and on day of the photoshoot Kate was very accommodating and helpful in taking a number of poses with different backgrounds and a suit change. And I received a link to review all the shots within a day of the appointment. I later selected 3 to 4 for final touchups and Kate was able to turn them around very quickly digitally. I reached out to Pacifica Studio about taking photographs of my mother's paintings for portfolio purposes / to use for prints. It's been difficult finding studios in the area that have this type of experience since a lot of studios are more geared toward portraiture etc. but Kate at Pacifica Studio was so careful and professional about documenting the work. Photographing flat artwork is difficult since it requires getting the lighting to be perfectly even and making sure the camera angle is perfectly parallel to the artwork to minimize warping as much as possible. She took her time to get all the lighting/color grading correct and always double-checked with me that she was capturing the details of the work correctly. After receiving the retouched photos I was so satisfied and grateful for the extra care and prep she took since the photos look amazing and are so high res. I'm so happy I found her and that I'm able to properly document/archive this work (especially if they get sold in the future). read more

I was initially introduced to Kate, the owner of Pacifica Studio by my employer who sent me for a professional head shot photos. Kate was waiting for me outside when I arrived and had everything organized in the studio and ready to start the photoshoot. She was very patient and was giving me advice on which angle looks better and which way is best for me to look towards in order to get the best shots. She genuinely wanted to get the very best images while she was taking the pictures! She then created a portfolio with all of my images for me to choose from. I chose a few of the best photos to be retouched / edited as Kate said she will edit the ones I will use for my employers website. The photos came out really amazing!!
