Dianne's one-star review is incredibly damaging to me personally, as I have spent 6 years building a reputation in excellence, and am a small business owner whose lifeblood is referrals and reviews. This is why I feel the need to respond -- I consider her comments to be defamation and lies. So, my side: Dianne was given the settings, power, and depth that she purchased. The laser's job is to remove a certain depth and % of skin. The body does the rest of the work, healing and creating new skin to replace the old. Only 2 of our 10,000+ clients have ever been unhappy w/ the way their skin responded to the treatment. Dianne was advised, as everyone is, in her consultation (and in the medical form that she agreed to/signed) that no refunds are given after a treatment is performed. Dianne definitely received everything she purchased. And although the before and after pictures on our website ARE typical and real clients, she had unrealistic expectations. When I showed her her own before/after picture (that showed visible, dramatic results) she actually denied that the picture was her, but it was taken and time-stamped at her appointment. She demanded a refund because she said she really couldn't afford the treatment and then came up with multiple complaints, trying to get us to refund her money. Her payment covered not only her treatment, but also my assistant to run the chiller, seeing the doctor for prescriptions, and aftercare products. Regarding the personal aftercare that I provide to my many clients -- yes, most prefer detailed texting to phone calls, but Dianne could've called me anytime -- I make myself available AT NO CHARGE, 24/7 for an entire week after treatment, which is unheard of! Superior procedure and results!!! I have had CO2 laser resurfacing done here several times, ranging from a deep resurfacing to a light laser dermabrasion. She literally took years of sun damage off my face! I would not trust my face to anyone else!! She is so careful and truly has the highest concern for her patients and for their wellbeing. I consider her to have a healing gift! Before going to Mikayla, I had a CO2 laser done at an MD's office for about 3X the price...I can say that her procedure, aftercare and follow up were far superior to what I received from the MD. office is neat and very clean mikayla is the best very helpful she explains it all upfront and she is very well spoken answers all your questions I would not visit any other place .my results from only my first treatmeant were outstanding can't wait to go back it can be a tad bit painful at times nothing you can't take but she always makes sure your comfortable during each session and gets the job done fairly quickly so you can expect a quick clean and comfortable professional treatment every time you visit the beautiful laser center I would recommend everyone to visit mikayla for the best results!! Mikayla & Beautiful Laser Center is my trusted and go to help for Co2, Cryo treatment, & Blast treatment. I found Mikayla around 2009 and found a professional, trusted, & result based relationship. I came back to her in the spring and with her newest tools I am seeing help at 66 years of age. That's saying a lot because older skin usually doesn't have the same spring back. I have been using Mikayla & Beautiful Laser for at least 5 years now. I have the CO2 fraxel laser done and have had great results each time. in fact - it times to go back. I prefer the fraxel as it gives me the best results. Yes- there is a 7-10 day initial healing period but, for me, it is worth the process. Excellent results. I had laser resurfacing because a lifetime of working outdoors gave me lots of wrinkles around my eyes and forehead. The results were fantastic. My daughter said my skin looked "airbrushed" because the fine lines were gone. I am male, but Mikayla made me feel comfortable with the whole process. She's a pro. Mikayla is a miracle worker! I can't believe how fast I saw results from my first laser hair removal treatment. After just three sessions the hair was gone. As with any laser treatment you may need a follow up, I've gotten just one on my armpits in the last year and that has been all I needed. I've gone to Mikala for years and she is amazing. First priority is always safety and great results. I've had fraxel lasering a couple of times and it changes your skins collagen and removes small scars and wrinkles. Several of my family and friends have gone to her too. read more
