It is about 30-35 min from my house, but coming midday wasn't bad. The parking however in Vintage Park is challenging, especially for accessible parking. I did finally find a spot across from Huemn. I was promptly greeted by Johnnie. He was patient and explained the numerous options available, and provided great recommendations that would be appropriate for me. I was able to experience a 30 min PEMF session (like a tens unit on steroids via a magnetic pulse). Let me tell you! The tension and pain in my neck and left hip were gone!!! I even went to sleep! I left my appointment without pain and with more energy. I'm very happy with the results. Huemn offers services through a membership with a 3 month commitment, also by non-membership packages, and also by single services pricing. Of course membership pricing is the best. I shall return real soon, for more pain relief.‍

I happen to work with someone who is a MD, knowledgeable, and someone I could trust to cut on me. He told me about this place, the benefits, and why it would behoove me to check it out. So I did. And I have zero regrets. Bill, the owner, is visible. All the time. Not an owner who is on the side but around. Says a lot about how much he likes the business and his character. He hires good, bubbly, nice folks who make you feel welcome. Staff is knowledgeable. They explain everything well. And now to the data. Everyone knows their stuff, the benefits of cryo, red infrared light, compression, etc is very well documented. So much so st. Jude's hospital uses infrared for their patients. I could digress and tell you why I love this place but I will save you the time and say go check it out. First time cryo is free. It's cold as hell. But short time discomfort for long term benefits. Moving on to their facility... it is so clean and calming. It's definitely easy to relax in this environment. When I checked in for my appointment, I was taken on a tour of the facility... they offer so many services!! I got a hot stone massage and then I had a float session. This massage was one of the best massages I've had in my entire life... and I get massages A LOT. It felt so good and was so relaxing! And then this was my first time doing a float session, and I felt so relaxed after it! Just to walk everyone through the process... -You have your own room with either a pod or cabin. You can choose which one you want. The pod is smaller than the cabin, and that's the only way they differ. -You put earplugs in, fully shower (NO CONDITIONER), and put petroleum jelly on any little scrapes to protect from the salt. -Music will start to play to let you know your session is starting. You step into your pod or cabin, lay down, and float. And trust me, you will float!!! There is so much salt in there. -You are encouraged to turn the lights off, but if you don't want to... you can leave them on. The door can open at any time... you are never "trapped" in there. If you need immediate assistance, there is a panic button to push for help. -Music will start to play again for 5 minutes when your session is over. -You will then completely shower off again (you can use conditioner now) and then you're done! 100% would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! In fact, their scheduler system had me confirm the appointments the day before. I had the day off, but my other half used a vacation day, and we drove an hour and a half to Houston just to sit outside a locked facility. There was no sign on the door or anything stating the changes, and their website, at the time of writing this review, doesn't show the changes or mention closing, either. We left 2 voicemails and finally got on the website on our phone to use the Contact Us form (I put my phone # in the message since my computer was at home and I don't get email on my phone). They answered me via e-mail, which I did not see until we got home, but no one ever bothered to call us. The end result was a refund of what went on my credit card, but nothing else. Dr. Holman really took his time talking to each of us and figuring out what was going on with our bodies, and is able to meet both are needs. They also have some great therapy tables-I especially love the hydro table, which is essentially a heated water bed with water jets that give a full body massage-it costs $5 for 10 minutes, and is worth every penny. Staff is friendly, they take many different insurances, and the place is very clean. However, between the waits and treatments, appointments take at least an hour each time, so plan accordingly.
