The male nail tech working at the first station took one look at my nails and said he'd definitely be able to fix them. I've been going to Beautiful Nails since we moved to Reunion 7yrs ago. They used to be really good, but they're getting too busy to the point that they're rushing to get people in and out. Prices have gone up, but service and quality has decreased. There are still a few good nail techs there, but they're usually so booked up. At my last appointment, I asked her to keep my length as much as possible as my nails were pretty long. She cut them down and then filed them to where they were jagged/uneven. Anna did my pedi and she was so gentle and sweet. I get pedicures all the time and I don't care for the robotic style. Ya know, massaging and looking up at the ceiling or watching the tv waiting for the time to pass. Anna was not like this at all. I also got a fill with Michelle. She was very good and fast. She even did a hand massage that was so unexpected but just delightful. I wish I didn't live out of state so I could make Beautiful Nails with Anna and Michelle my regular nail salon. I've never been able to do my toes myself. My sister once told me that I cut one of my big toenails to look like an "egg tooth". This was a low moment in my life and since then I've been getting pedicures bi weekly. This place just opened a little while back around the corner from us so I thought I'd try it out. It's one of those walk in type of places so I walked on in. Walking in was kind of confusing, they have polish for use and polish for purchase next to each other which I found to be a little confusing. But they have the nail stations on one side and the pedicure chairs on the other like most places do. They also do waxing up in the front waiting type area which kind of oogied me out. I don't want to watch someone getting their brows done, but I guess that's how they do it. So I picked my polish and they had the chair ready to go so there I went. The girl that did my toes did a great job. She was extra friendly and made it a point to talk to me a little but not too much, which I like. And they had a big TV that you could actually hear the sound on playing TMZ or E! (I don't remember which) but it was better than ESPN on mute like I usually get. The only thing that kinda made me feel weirded out is I'm used to the nail tech coming out with her tools sealed up in a little paper thing. She brought them out in a basket. I'm sure that they were as clean/dirty as they are when they're in the paper thing, but it didn't feel *as* clean. OH- I also forgot my datebook there. It was new and only had a couple of things written in it so they could have very easily taken it, but instead held on to it and when I came in the next day looking for it they had it under the counter for me. I recently moved to the neighborhood and have been looking for a new nail salon close to home. I have been here many of times sometimes with an appointment or without no matter what you have to wait a while. Many times I have been told I can to your nails but not a pedicure or even the other way around. After getting one service. They say we'll just come back tomorrow like I don't work 12 hour days. I have continued to go and give them multiple of chances. My nails are ok for the overpriced but never really happy with them. I have ask for square just not chunky and get told square is square. I feel like they are not organized good business and do not care about any customer service. I would but waste my money for the overpriced service. I will continue to drive 40 minutes for better service!! The good reviews I have read I Just don't see any of that when I go there. read more

I went in for a manicure and pedicure this past Saturday. I got Michael, an 18-year-old male. He did a good job with the manicure, but when it came to doing the pedicure and the exfoliation of my feet, he literally tore my foot up. My heel was bleeding and he acted like nothing had happened. Later that night and the next day I could hardly walk it hurt so bad. I went back two days later (today) to show him and the manager what had happened to my foot. The manager ignored me (and went back to his phone) and told me to talk to Michael, which I did. I couldn't understand everything he said, but he basically said that it would be better within 4-5 days, and that he was sorry. That was it! But at least he said he was sorry! I was shocked that the manager had nothing more to say and didn't offer anything by way of reconciliation, especially since I had actually been hurt. I wasn't just complaining about the lack of leg massage or chipped color, but I had broken skin and was hurt! ... This salon is close to my house and it's a shame that I will no longer be going back. I am so disappointed in the way this salon has done business. The manager obviously doesn't know how to make his clients happy or keep them coming back. read more

I asked for square and this is what I got. They are extremely rude. They made me cry. They were so mean to me on Yelp so much that I deleted my first review. Ken is a liar and he is very rude to customers. I encourage you to read responses to other reviews before giving him business. I spoke about my experience in my last review and instead of apologizing for a bad service he wrote very rude things in the response. After I reported the first response for harassment, he left a slightly less attacking comment, so I deleted the review and wrote this one instead. He told me that the world doesn't revolve around me, but when I'm a paying customer, I think at least the service should be about me right????? I never lied about anything in my first review, but all those things don't seem as important anymore because of the treatment I have gotten for asking for a refund. Ken claims he was near me the whole time, but when I had mentioned to my artist multiple times that the shape was wrong, he had nothing to say. So I can't imagine he was paying that much attention. He claims I cursed out the woman I spoke to on the phone, when it is clear that I used maybe one or two curse words out of frustration due to the woman yelling over me. In no way did I curse at her or call her any names, yet I can understand how when I said them she could have been offended. I understand that getting a bad service will happen every once in a while. I have every right to speak about my experience on platforms like this. That does not invite people like him to personally attack me on here and make me feel small and bad about speaking up. He seems to have the same answer for every problem and that is "you should've talked to the manager" well he is the manager and no wonder so many people didn't feel comfortable coming to him with issues. I normally have always had good experiences at this salon but today ive had it. i asked for something simple and i showed the lady, she said she could do it. First when she took off my old set she was filing my nails and hit the skin under my nail, then she put the nails on and she cute this all sorts of crooked but i am not a professional so i was trying to trust the process. she would hit my cuticles on every nail and i'd pull back and tell her it hurt, at this point she had put the acrylic on and i had told her i wanted the edges very square. after that her demeanor completely changed, she became rough and rude with everything she did, and when she did the ombre it didnt look right either. so when she moved to painting them she kind of just threw my hands around and just wasnt gentle like at the beginning of my appointment. i almost didnt tip because i was so mad at the way i was treated for asking for my nails to look a certain way. and when i went to say no tip on the tablet she looked at me and told me i pressed the wrong button. she looked over the tablet as i was doing everything, i am always a generous tipper but i felt so frustrated and afraid to say anything because when i did say something she got mad. read more

I have been going to Beautiful Nails for over 6 years and over the summer Kelly and KT, the owners, both aren't there anymore and now the whole business is going downhill. I haven't been back there since June right before Kelly left and I decided to go back there yesterday to get my nails done. The lady I had was not very friendly and had to keep answering the phone while doing my nails. The nail tips were barely glued onto my actual nails, the shaping was not done well, and the lengths of the nails were uneven and very curled and bumpy. When I went to pay she walked away from the counter and did not even tell me bye or thank you have a nice day! Kelly would have never given me service like this, very disappointing to a loyal customer. After I paid and walked out to my car, I went to close my car door and the acrylic nail ripped off and ripped my real nail off with it. Very painful and very disappointing how easily the nail ripped off taking my real nail off with it. Even though the acrylic nails I got done were a pretty long length, it should have not come off that easily. So, to say the least now I have to wait for my real nail to grow back and I am sad that I will not being getting my nails done here anymore after years of going here. read more

I have been going to Beautiful Nails since 2015 when I moved to this area. I have had my nails done for over 15 years, so I have seen good and bad shops. I tried all of the shops near Reunion and this is the only one that I felt offered everything I have wanted done and with quality and care. There are many experienced techs in the shop, and some newer folks. If you want to get exactly what you want, try a few and then make appointments with the one you like. I generally go to KT, but I have a handful of back ups if I can't get in with him. I bring pictures of what I want and then give a little room for artistic prerogative. They always do a great job. And if I am ever even a bit disappointed, they will fix it. I recommend them highly! read more

I have been going here since Keit and Kelly bought the location. Kelly is an amazing nail technician and artist. I highly recommend her for acrylic/gel nails because of her shaping and designs. It's all about the nail tech you get! My mom is a regular here and swears by this shop. I went with her and got a pedicure and gel (they call it shellac... It's gel) manicure. The manicure was $30!! Anyway... The Pedicure.... ($35) I sit down for the pedicure she up sells me for the #2 pedi... Fine. My toe nails aren't even filed correctly! The paint is uneven. The paint goes over my cuticle on some toes and on others the paint isn't even covering my whole nail! It looks like something I could have done. For the deluxe pedi I would have thought I would have gotten a wonderful massage and extra attention to my toes... Nope. The Shellac (gel) manicure... ($30) (FYI I get a gel manicure every 3-4 weeks) Starts off basic. Soak your nails, trim, file, buff, etc. Then she had me wash my hands. Which is odd because with Gel you want a super dry nail beds. When I get back she just starts putting the gel base on! No alcohol swipe or drying base coat. She goes off for 5 min. Comes back and says the color I want is out. I pick a new color. She then paints 2 coats of the gel color. The color is so uneven. You can see my nail bed through some areas of the paint. As she is trying to paint she is cleaning the gel up around with her nail. She hits my nail 2 times I have to tell her she's wiped the color off. The top coat is then put on. I then have to tell her the gel is on my actual fingers and if she would file it off. I get home and realize that the gel is on my some of fingers. And some finger nails are missing paint on the edges! Also, in less than 12 hours the gel is already lifting on 2 nails and chipped on one. There are 2 other shops across the street. You would think this shop would be trying harder. read more

The last two visits I had here were unpleasant. Both times I went in for a pedicure and the second time I also had a full set of acrylics applied. Each time was a different technician but both times they were very young and inexperienced males. The first technician cut my cuticles on my toenail too far down and caused some pretty good bleeding. The second time the technician who did my nails applied way too much pressure when using his grinder and hurt my nailbeds. When I told him he was hurting me and too not grind so hard, he said I was moving too much! Yes, because it was painful!!! We made an appointment for 2 pedis at 6pm. We arrived at 5:55. I picked my nail color and they sent us to the pedi stations. We both sat down and my tech started with me. My boyfriend was waiting. At first this didn't seem odd to me; many times they start pedis a few min apart. about 15 min into the pedi we asked if someone was coming to his and they said a few minutes. About 30 minutes later his water was cold and they were drying my legs - still no one to start his pedi. At 42 min, I was done (my pedi didn't last as long as advertised and I'm pretty sure they used the mint products instead of the lavender). They told us someone would be over to give his pedi but 45 minutes after our appointment was too much. We had an hour to get our pedis before going to our other plans. They asked if we made appointments when we both got up and we said yes; they said sorry. They didn't offer me a discount which surprised me. They tried to give us a gift card to come back but we are leaving for vacation (thus the pedicures) and we're looking to enjoy the experience together. I've been here before and liked the techs and service well enough. It's convenient. However, I probably won't return because they ruined our date night, prevented him from getting a pedicure before vacation, and ruined his first pedi experience. I would be cautious about appointments and products here. However, the pedicures are decent and the techs nice. read more
