Disappointed, but my bride and I refused to let this ruin our wedding night. It must be known that we were promised an MC and got a DJ that lacked the ability to see that the crowd was disappointed and disengaged. We would have gotten more out of an iPod. Then We Danced ought to be ashamed. Given the reviews, the company obviously does know to provide services for weddings, but for some reason, not ours. She repeatedly expressed feeling like she was handling much of the planning responsibilities herself despite hiring a wedding planner. There were also questions directed to my sister regarding responsibilities such as steaming tablecloths, cleanup, and logistics for ice/cooler storage, which added confusion and additional stress because these were tasks she believed would be handled as part of the planning/coordinating services. Payment had been made in full by the end of April, and approximately 40 days before the wedding, services were withdrawn after a family member contacted her to ask for updates on the planning progress. Since then, communication regarding refunds and coordination during the transition to finding a replacement planner has been limited, which has made an already difficult situation more stressful. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, especially given the timing so close to the wedding. I tried posting this on her facebook to warn others and in return i was blocked.
