She used a brush instead of a wide tooth comb & violently ripped through my hair. She faced me away from the mirror the entire time she cut it so I couldn't see what she was doing. There was also some guy who came into her station & stood right next to me, asking her questions about perms for like 10 minutes. She barely dried it & then charged $30. That's $30 for just the cut. No wash, no style. The haircut was so terrible I cried in the parking lot & then went to The Ritz. I walked in & the owner saw my hair, said she wanted to fix it & then did so free of charge. My hair looks amazing now thanks to The Ritz & I will not be returning to Salon 101.

The only complaint I have is that the chairs you sit under the dryer with are to uncomfortable and wish they had the cushy old fashioned chairs. They have a huge selection of dip powders and also offer builder gel, shellac, and lots of other options. One thing that really stood out to me was how seriously they seemed to take cleanliness. While I was there, I saw them constantly cleaning and disinfecting the pedicure stations between customers and sanitizing their towels and equipment. Everything felt very clean and well maintained. Hailey did my nails, and she was wonderful! She was kind, gentle, very detailed, and took her time to make sure everything looked great. I have natural nails and was a little concerned about using a drill on them, and she really listened to my concerns and worked with me instead of just doing what she normally does. I really appreciated that. I got a shellac manicure and a shellac pedicure for around $100 total, which I thought was a very fair price for the quality of the service. My nails and toes turned out beautiful. I'll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend Hailey and Luxe Nails!

I said I didn't book with that stylist and received back the name of the stylist I did book with instead. I asked for the contact info of the stylist I had an appointment with and was not given any information. When I spoke with the owner, Miranda, she became belligerent and assumed my being upset at her unprofessional behavior, was loyalty to the stylist! While the stylist I saw was lovely, I don't know her! I just wanted to pay for her exceptional skills! Miranda was incredibly disrespectful and full of assumptions. I'm stunned and appalled by the behavior of this small business owner. I will never go to the salon again and will discourage others from doing so. I hope she has the life she deserves.
