I came in on April 28th, 2022 at 11:10am and got my hair cut by Dana. I checked in online and there…read morewas no wait so as soon as I arrived I was helped. Dana was friendly and joked about her new hat. When I sat in the chair she asked me if I was doing the same haircut as last time. I told her no that I usually walk the stylist through my hair cut as we go. The first time I described what I wanted Dana replied with lingo I imagine is familiar to hairstylists, but was a bit confusing to me. I told her I would look up a photo of what I was trying to describe. After showing Dana the photo she cut my hair faster than I've ever had it done at this location ( I'm a regular ). Unfortunately it's not the haircut I was expecting. Dana asked me after she finished if it was what I wanted and all I could say is "well it's a little too late now". She didn't acknowledge my comment and went on to line me up. When she got to the back of my neck she mentioned lining it two different ways and described it to me in a way that was again too confusing and I had to ask her to clarify, she turned to another stylist and asked her to help explain. After still not being able to understand I told her to just do what she thought was best. In the process she cut my neck. I asked her if I was bleeding and she said no it's just a red spot. When I went home and looked in the mirror I saw the cut she left. I could tell Dana was ready to get me out of her chair and frankly I wanted to leave asap. I wanted more done to my hair but I told her it was fine the way it was. As I mentioned earlier, I'm a regular at this location and I've never had such a bad experience here before. I don't think this visit reflects their standard but I do think it's important the stylists take their time with each guest to ensure everyone has a good experience and no one is getting hurt.

Every time I get my haircut by Alicia I always get compliments. Not only is she a fun person to…read moretalk to but she really pays attention to detail and takes her time to make it just right. I'll be back for sure! Thanks Alicia.

The only thing I like about my hair right now is the color. I should've walked out when my gut told…read moreme to. I chose this salon based on the numerous positive reviews on Google. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant & polite. However, I had been growing my hair out for a year after a disastrous cut at a different salon and explained my fears to Ashley, the owner. We spoke for quite a bit and I felt like I was being listened to. She said she understood the trauma of a bad haircut and was very empathetic. Ashley suggested Brooke would be perfect to take care of my needs and give me the look I wanted. Fast forward 2 weeks to my appointment and I find out Ashley didn't book enough time for me to get a cut, color, & style (even though that's what I asked for), so I had to be fit in around the following appointment. In addition, Brooke was running late from the previous appointment so I got even less of my "allotted" time. It made me feel like an afterthought and not a valued customer. It's not a bad haircut, it's just not what I asked for in ANY way. I couldn't tell how wrong it was until the next day since she curled it. I have to fuss with it quite a lot to look presentable as it flips out in different directions if I don't use flat irons and lots of product to tame it. Now I have to wait at least 6 months to grow my hair out and roll the dice again at another salon. I don't understand how someone who cuts hair for a living didn't understand the basic concept of layers. Also, I don't know how the owner could've been so off target about her stylist's skill set. The overall feeling in this salon is clickish and if you're not a regular you're left out.
