Because I know my products, know what braiding material I need, and for the most part, wear my hair in its natural state, I never need assistance from staff in finding products. Lately I've been noticing interactions between the owners and certain customers. I've watched them greet, be friendly, and make eye contact with various groups of people, but when it comes to Black Americans you appear distant, not friendly, refuse to greet, and have a look of disdain when approached by a Black American. I witnessed the owner standing at the front entrance yesterday, greet a Hispanic couple and an Ethiopian man and blatantly ignore a Black American woman entering the store. Most of your products are Black American inspired! Your business has THRIVED over the years as a result of BLACK AMERICAN WOMEN and you continue to have this audacity!

It is disappointing when store owners lack basic fairness in dealing with longstanding customers. Based on a simple incident that involved my request for assistance on an exchange and locating a product, Beauty 4U not only wasted my time by sending me on a wild goose chase for a product they do not carry at their other store location; they also refused to appease me for this error. They refused my request to simply exchange a small item that they could re-sell. To this end, Beauty 4U managers created an antagonist relationship with this client. Beauty 4U managers have poor customer relations, especially in cases where the customer is clearly sincere. There are other beauty supply shops that provide comparable services and after severing my relationship with Beauty 4U, I plan to patronize smaller beauty shops and Mom & Pop facilities that respect client satisfaction and fairness. read more

This store should be under new management. I shopped here once and the empolyees here are asking for trouble with their rude,obnoxious , and stalking behavior towards blacks. I haveto give this establishment a star but they dont even deserve that much. I also notice that with their way of doing business, their store stay empty. I will never go back here. I can take my hard earned money elsewhere like a more comforatble atmosphere where you dont have to feel like you are a criminal or beneath them. I would rather you say I'm not allowed than to take my money and mistreat me. How lame is that? I think this store needs boycott or the employees need a beat down. read more

This store is an absolute joke everytime I go in there the people that work there are rude, inconsiderate, and have no understanding for what customer service is. I'm done giving them my money because I have had it with their rudeness, I have better things to do with my money then give it to a business who employs rude dumbasses. They have a decent selection of synthetic hair and hair products. Unfortunately many specialty items are not in the store, and they will not order for you. The employees are not knowledgeable of the industry supplies that they are selling. The positive is that everyone in the store is very friendly at this location! I walked in last Friday to get my hair braided. I presented with a photo as a reference point to…read morehow I wanted my hair braided. The owner Rita assured me they could style my hair like what I showed her on the picture, her words verbatim were "we can do anything". I trusted her. She convinced me to purchase human hair for $120.00 per bundle, I purchased 2 bundles as recommended by her, she initially quoted me $160.00 per bundle, however that was a bit out of my price point so I declined, she took me next door to show me alternatives that weren't as expensive but insisted the $160 per bundle was better quality hair and would garner better results, I told her I didn't necessarily want to pay $320 for just the hair not to include the cost for braiding and tip, so she said she would give me a discount; $420 for everything (the "good" bundles (2) at $110 each and $200 for the cost of braiding). I'll attach pics and you can see for yourself why I'm highly disappointed. The braiders were awful!!! .. once I arrived home and inspected my hair I called Rita to let her know my hair was poorly done. She asked me not to return the next day (Saturday) because it was really busy and convinced me to wait until Monday to return and promised it would be fixed then, I told her I would be working Monday but could come after work, I obliged out of courtesy, however feeling defeated since I'd have to walk around with my hair looking sloppy for two days. I returned Monday after work only to be told there was no one there to do my hair and to return the next day. I must say Rita was pleasant and apologetic throughout this whole process but that wasn't good enough. The lady who called herself fixing my braids (one of the initial braiders) when I returned Tuesday didn't seem she was too happy that I returned, she huffed and puffed the entire time, she dropped combs and hair on the floor but proceeded to reuse those items in my hair, she yanked away at my hair, anyone could clearly look at my hair at this point and determine it was a sloppy job, and it was still sloppy if not sloppier when she was finished. Perhaps she didn't know what she was doing, perhaps she just didn't care, who knows!! ... now I've wasted approximately $460, oh because I forgot to mention that when I checked out they made me pay "tax" on the total cost since I was using a debit card. I've since then had my hair taken down which was another disaster. So see attached pictures and decide if you want to take the risk. They are horrible with human hair braids and that braider needs instruction on customer service as well as refraining from doing a style that she clearly doesn't know how to do.

On Saturday I called her back and because she is soooo busy she was fake rude and said she understood if I wanted to go some place else. No assistance at all. Bottom line, Premier's online booking service better work for you. She has no back up plan and won't accommodate you no matter how loyal you have been.

When I went looking for, what I call, blonde extensions with dark roots, as they call it, Ombre, I had to settle for the 1B27, because I was too impatient to let them order it and wait for the arrival. They are one of a few shops that carry a variety of blonde extensions, so I always end up buying my hair from here. Great shop, great people, great hair!
