    Bought a hair dryer here that didn't work. Bought it right back to store and they had to "test it" to make sure it didn't work. The no return policy posted on the door says no returns on wigs or weaves because of hygiene issues. Understandable. But a hair dryer is not physically on a person. Long story short, they wouldn't refund or offer to replace the product. I was so irritated by the experience o left it there, and I'm sure they'll resell the product. So two warnings - the company does not adhere to its refund policy and they will probably sell a known dysfunctional product so look out.

    I stopped here the other day after coming from the gym. I've been coming here for years and have given this business ALOT of money (as I am sure other people of color have as well). However, on this day the store manager/owner decided I looked like a thief and started following me while he pretended to look at items on the shelves in my area. When I got to the checkout line, surprised, offended and in disbelief that he was surveilling ME- he walks by and we locked eyes. I'm looking like "WTHeck"and he's looking like "I wish you would". He walks behind the counter while I'm in line but comes back from behind the counter to stand next to me as the cashier rings me up. He didn't walk away until I paid for my items and I'm SHOCKED. I'm so tired of supporting businesses that REALLY don't respect us. After reading another review, I see it's the same moronic man that has been accused of being rude and aggressive towards other women. I won't be back to this store. We really need to stop patronizing these places. #ENOUGHISENOUGH

    This was my second time here after first visting 5 months ago. I went to pick up a few products and to see what crochet and clip-in hair they had. I was literally there for well over an hour and a half, slowly wandering around and just looking at everything. I made it to the wig section and the lady working in that area greeted me and she was very polite. She asked if i needed help, asked what I was looking for, told me the promos, and tried making some suggestions. She was a good salesperson. Even though our hair texture was different, she was helpful and gave good advice about the wigs, which I have never purchased. I would go back for her help, she was friendly. Another person asked me if everything was ok if i needed anything while i was slowly shopping. Other than that, nobody disturbed me, no racial profiling, no hovering, nothing strange. They sell just about every product for hair care. Good overall experience. Keep in mind this is not a black owned establishment, it is Korean owned. I know that is a very important factor to a lot of people, so putting that out there. Maybe they have improved their customer service skills...??

    One of the larger beauty supply stores in the area with a large selection to meet your beauty needs. While the selection and variety are vast, the customer service is not always the best. The young ladies who work here are friendly and depending on what you need can be very helpful. However, the management staff does not posses the caliber of customer service skills need to make customer want to come back over and over again. I think this location works best when you already know what you want and where to find it in the store.

    I'm going on a trip next week so I came in to try on some wigs. They have the largest wig selection that I found so far in this area so that's usually where I go. I've probably spent well over $1000 at this location and maybe the past 4 years. So I went into that try on some wigs. I bought a wig cap. I tried on two wigs after I was told that I couldn't try them out of the package and I needed to try the sample wigs that were on the doll heads. I did that and chose one of the wigs. But the wig that I tried on was black and the color that I wanted to buy was 2-toned mostly blonde with black roots. if you work in a beauty supply, you are well aware that we need to see the product out of the package because there is no return on hair. She refused to let me see the hair outside of the package after me expressing many times that I did not want to put the wig on, I just see the wigs color. She took the wig away and went to put it back on the shelf. This is when I start recording her and asking how come I couldn't see the wig that's when she decides to go ahead and take it out because now she's on a video and that's when I decide I'm not spending my money here because why are you treating me like I can't see what I'm spending my money on. When I spoke to the manager, he talk to me as like I was his child and I know everybody has their cultures but sir you are working with black women we are not beneath you matter fact, we pay all your bills. He threaten me with legal action for posting what actually happened to me in the situation and told me what happened didn't really happen even though I have video proof. I plan to post this video anywhere and everywhere every single day because y'all are wild. Hi Hannah, hopefully next time you get better customer service. Also, the same wigs are available $20 cheaper on Amazon and the only reason I didn't buy it. There was so that I could see it in person. What is the point of going to you and paying more to deal with the race is bullshit.

A few moments later I was advised that my hair would be braided by a stylist in the shop and another stylist would come to install my weave. An hour later my stylist arrived. I showed her a photo of what I wanted my hair to look like and it was a total bust. A simple bob is what I asked for and I came out looking like granny goose. The $180 style stayed on my head for 14 days and I had to take it out. I can respect a stylist who is on-time and who can admit when they cannot do a style that has been requested. Don't go to Bee's for anything other than waiting and wasting your money. They do not respect your time.

It's unsanitary and I'm looking at getting a lawyer for scalp damage. I came in with my natural hair and requested a simple braided style. Instead of being accommodated, I was met with resistance about my hair texture--told it was "too straight and long" for the style, that the braids would fall out, and even that my own hair might get cut in the process. I was pushed toward other styles like regular braids or Marley twists, which I clearly said I didn't want. I'm not spending my hard-earned money--especially in this economy--on a style I didn't ask for. For reference, my hair is only 12-13 inches long, not even bra-strap length. I'm a Black woman, half African on my dad's side, and have been getting braided styles with added hair since I was 8 years old. Never have I heard such nonsense about my hair being at risk from braiding. It felt like laziness or jealousy, honestly. If you can't do a style for a valid reason, that's one thing. But don't treat clients poorly just because you don't want to do the work. The braiders were rude, loud, and clearly didn't think I understood their language--which I do, as it's commonly spoken in their country I felt so disrespected. As I was leaving, one of the owners stopped me and urged me to stay, reminding me I've been a loyal customer for over a decade. She told the braiders to honor my request because this is a business, and they can't afford to lose clients over personal preferences. I stayed out of respect for her, but I shouldn't have. My Friday evening was ruined. And to make matters worse,it hurt so bad, the twists were done roughly because the stylist was clearly angry. Don't take out your frustration on my hair. That was the final straw. I didn't even leave a tip--why would I? Never again. I will never come back here. Never again.
