The consultant I met with was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. She gave me a trial of Emsculpt so I could try it before committing. I felt that she was being honest with me about the results of different procedures, and was not pressuring me. I just got back from my first appointment at Skin MD in Burlington and I can't say enough good things about my experience. The customer service was excellent, the facility was brand new and extremely clean, and the girls working there were so friendly and accommodating. On my way there, my GPS took me to the wrong place and I was running pretty late. But when I called to let them know, Eleanor was completely understanding and reassured me to take my time. When I arrived, we talked about my skincare needs and she put together a package for me in no time. Sherry did my laser hair removal and she was nothing short of professional, personable, and thorough. I never thought laser could be so painless and easy! I have gotten laser at other places and I'll admit it was uncomfortable and sometimes even painful (bikini area and lower legs) but that wasn't the case here at all. The machine they use at Skin MD has a cooling component so I barely felt anything. I wish I knew about this sooner to save myself from all the pain before! She also did a Silk Peel after my laser treatment and my skin feels incredibly clean and moisturized. This review is based on the procedure provided, Morpheus, at both Peabody and Burlington locations. The Peabody 'consultant', repeatedly assured me that this was the best procedure to have for the wrinkling on my chin, around mouth and for the area under my chin-turkey neck(which she laughed at) and when I asked how long it would last she said the results would "last for years". She also said it wasn't that painful as they used numbing cream; which was totally useless as it was very painful. Even the second tech who did the procedure said that she would talk to the consultant about making such a statement because it is a painful procedure. Procedures started in June ended in September. With the second and third procedure I was asked if I saw any difference, I said no both times, and was told both times it would take about 30 days after a procedure to see improvement. Also, had a complimentary venus facial after. Six months after the start, thousands of dollars spent: ZERO improvement. To say that I am unhappy to the point of crying and very disappointed would be an understatement. No, I do not recommend. Mel was AMAZING. I hate needles and came in for dysport. I get very nauseous around them, but Mel made me feel so comfortable and distracted me with conversation.
