Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and professional, but her attention to detail and tactful approach made the entire experience unforgettable. I've had a Halo head spa treatment before in South Tampa, and honestly, this location completely outshines the Westshore area one. Everything about it felt elevated and intentional. They exclusively use O Way products ~ a luxurious, organic, Italian-farmed line that felt amazing on my scalp and hair. One of the most mind-blowing parts was the magnifying video camera used to analyze my scalp. It gives real-time insight into dryness, oil buildup, and overall scalp health to customers. It was both fascinating and reassuring to see exactly what was going on. And let's talk about the electric massager in the middle of the treatment ~ pure heaven. Just when I thought it couldn't get better, they finished with a flower elixir poured over my hair, leaving it smelling absolutely divine. The front desk staff were sweet and accommodating, and I have to give major kudos to the owner, a nurse practitioner who clearly poured thought into every detail ~ from the blankets and pillows to the top-tier product selection and, most importantly, the incredible team she's assembled. I decided to go all out and get the Diamond Halo service, which is 75 minutes, and also added on a facial and additional neck and shoulder massage. I had Lorianna (or "Lo") for my service, and she was awesome... I walked out of here at the end feeling like I was floating. I didn't get a blowout since I was just going home afterward anyway, so they give you either a satin scrunchy or a nice hair clip so you don't leave with stringy wet hair. The hair products they use are pricey, but my hair was SUPER soft for days afterward because of the conditioner they use. The salon is clean and they offer free snacks and drinks in the lobby while you wait (which I took advantage of since I got here early for my appointment). I am already looking at my calendar to see when I can go back.

I've gone to Denise a couple times now and she is just the absolute best. Honestly, I need to get my hair cut more than I do, and even though it had been forever since the last time I went in, she still remembered me immediately. She's also so good about confirming how much hair you want cut. I feel like a lot of places you'll say how much you want trimmed or cut and then end up with much shorter hair than you wanted. But Denise is very careful to double check how much you want off and make sure it's what you want after she works on it, and continually ask. During Christmas season she'll even hand out cute little gifts. It's a whole experience going here and I love it! They also are pretty reasonably priced especially because some salons can be so spendy. Definitely recommend!

After arriving early for my appointment, I was made to wait for over an hour. The staff behind the desk, even other stylists walked by as we sat waiting, unconcerned. I was then informed it would be another 45 minutes before I could be seen, 30 minutes after my appointment time. Unfortunately, I had to leave without any services being provided and a 10% discount for a future visit, which was incredibly heartbreaking. This experience not only left me to tears, it ruined my plans for the event but also showed a complete lack of consideration for my time. I expected better from a salon when it comes to scheduling and customer care. I cannot recommend Esquire Salon & Spa and especially Giselle Oliveras based on my experience.
