She was able to precisely match my color/highlights and cut. She and her staff are welcoming and friendly. The salon is calm and relaxing. Parking is plentiful with easy access to the door. This review is for the spa portion of Copper Penny. When you are in the parking lot, the entrance closest to the street is the hair studio, the entrance towards the rear is the spa. In the spa, there is a lady who does manicures & pedicures (Lacey) and a lady who does eyelashes. They are by appointment only. I met Lacey at an event and she gave me her card. After my move, I was definitely in need of care, so I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. Best thing I've done in a long time. She's a lovely young lady and is very professional. She did an incredible job. I've never had a pedicure before, but did go to a podiatrist for a while, and let me tell you, she was kinder and gentler to my feet than a doctor ever was. Absolutely amazing. I was so pleased with both my manicure and my pedicure that I made an appointment to do it again. Definitely worth it for not only saving my nails but the pampering as well. read more

Came in hating my hair and was afraid I couldn't convey what freshened up look I wanted. But after talking to Lacy (I hope her name is right) about what I wasn't liking about my current hairstyle she did exactly what I requested. She lightened up my face framing and bottoms of my hair and added some extra layering. Haven't been happy about a haircut in a long time :) the location had plenty of parking and I loved the aesthetic of the place too. Will definitely be coming back!! read more

Lacey did a great job cutting my wife's hair. The price was right and she was very knowledgeable. The downside.... Lacey spent the whole time talking to her coworkers about a flea market next door instead of focusing her attention on her client in the chair. read more

Once she looked & ran her fimgers through my hair then she took me outside to tell me that she didn't see or feel any breakage... the top of my hair felt like velvet (like after a soldier gets his hair buz-cut). I really can't believe that she blew off the breakage and tried to make me believe I didn't know what I was feeling. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because during the original appointment she was pleasant and friendly and the salon was clean. read more

I just tried the Copper Penny hair studio for the first time and I was very very happy with my haircut and color. Color was very natural and I have short hair that I wanted layered and it came out beautiful. Also my husband got a haircut and he's very happy with his also. You owe it to yourself to check them out!! While visiting family, I decided I would get my hair cut and color touched up. I am SO happy I did!! KJ took me that day. She matched my color beautifully (I was using different products in California). I was wanting to get a layered haircut as I was not fond of the "texturizing" previously done in California. I have naturally wavy hair. It is fine but lots of it. KJ listened to my wishes and gave me the best hair cut I have had in years! You can tell KJ is very experienced and knows how to get the best results for her clients. She is a master at her craft. Cost was very fair for both the cut and color. I went into Copper Penny with my brother yesterday, we booked a same day appointment which at first I was thrilled by but considering the end results I wish the guy would've told us he was tired or not able to give me his attention because I'm 22 years old rocking a bob cut almost to my ears. My hair is wavy/curlyish and I told him I wanted it hovering off the shoulders when it was wavy, he says, okay that means when I blow dry it straight it's going to be touching your shoulders, suddenly he starts blow drying it and pin straight it's closer to my ears than it is my shoulders. I will never go back and I advise you to do the same. I told him I wasn't happy with it and he just kept saying it would grow on me. Did my brothers hair just fine (trim and an undercut) probably cause he saw he'd have to pay more attention after how horribly mine turned out. I still paid and tipped 20% which I now regret. read more

She did exactly what I requested and wanted. I even had her do highlights and she was so accommodating. Her "creative art" was woven beautifully through my hair! I highly recommend them.
