Furry and Fabulous, now known as Dawn's Blissful Paws Canine Spa, was one of the groomers on the list. Having looked at their reviews, I was happy with what I saw. I even called and asked if they would be equipped to handle an old, grumpy, little old man. They assured me that they have someone who is great with seniors. The first couple of grooms weren't spectacular, but the appointment that we had on July 9th was the absolute worst. I usually get my dog cut with a two guard and keep his face fluffy like a puppy. The attached photo is what I was greeted with on the 9th when I picked him up. He was shaved to the skin (which I did not ask for), had blood on his beard, looked greasy, had irritated spots all over his body and was still stinky. They did make me aware that they hit his quick while clipping his nails, but why didn't they clean him up after? Why was blood all over his beard? He looked and felt so gross that I had to immediately give him a bath when we got home. Not only that, I had to take him to the vet because he's been limping and not putting weight on his front left leg since his appointment. The vet and I both agree that someone was too rough with him during the groom. She told us that our dog wouldn't need to be groomed again for another 6 months but his hair is at a length now where we just wanna get him cut again. My boyfriend called to schedule the appointment for 3/18/25 but when he called to confirm the appointment on the same day but hours earlier than the appointment, he was told that there was no appointment and that Gina had no idea what he was talking about, she claimed to not even remember my dog or have his name on their records. She said they switched from a computer system to whatever they have now, which would be fine if they transferred over all the information correctly. She did offer to rebook us for this past Saturday but when we called on Thursday and Friday to confirm the booking, she wouldn't even answer the phone. For two days. Friday, we called and scheduled an appointment with another groomer because we're tired of getting the run around from this lady, and needless to say but we didn't come in for our appointment on Saturday because of her lack of response and her failure to call us to confirm our appointment as well. We received no phone call, no text and no email asking us to confirm but we wanted to call to make sure nothing happened with both our appointments. Our dog is 2 years old but we've had him since last July and the previous owners had gotten him groomed before coming to us so we're still figuring out the ropes with how long to plan out his grooming appointments but for us, this company and groomer just made everything more difficult than it should've been.

I (unlike the shop owner and the 'groomer') have no reason to lie. The pictures show only the visible part of the damage. The permanent damage to his trachea, his knee and front leg/shoulder cannot be seen except on X-rays. The emotional damage and PTSD is an everyday thing and I'm still working at a snails pace, gentling him back into grooming. He doesn't shake as much as he did at first but it's still awful for him. These people are monsters, and the 'groomer', Cassidy...I don't know this person, never met her before, but I do know that she has absolutely no business dealing with animals. Shame on you people! Dropped off my Pom for basic grooming with Cassidy. Instead of a well groomed fluffy happy Pomeranian, I picked up a very quiet little Pom with The entire bottom half of guard hairs cut off, you can see his skin through the undercoat that is left. He was abused in a manner that caused his trachea to partially collapse with improper use of the grooming loop. Cassidy caused his front right leg to no longer have full range of motion, and a luxating patella (his right rear leg), repaired with no issues for ten years, is knocked out of place as a result of the 'grooming' he received from Cassidy. The owner was rude, accused me of lying. Cassidy lied. Another employee there lied. Owner was physically very threatening, approaching me quickly several times stopping inches from my face, so close his spit got on my face as he yelled at me. Of that's the sort of thing you are looking for, you're going to absolutely LOVE this place!

They are the first groomer that hasn't hurt my pup while grooming him, he came back to me so happy and crazy just like when I dropped him off. The prices were incredible for the service. Normally it costs well over $100 for a doodle grooming, but I paid around $65 for the grooming (bath, trim, nails), it was more with a tip of course but they were wonderful so absolutely deserved! So thank you a ton for being good to him, he'll be back soon!!

Also remember the fact that we label our dogs food so the big dog gets the big dog food and the little dog gets her food in the right quantity. I had previously spoken with Kevin and told him that I wanted Payton's hair on his head and ears left long. I wanted to make sure that he understood so I had my son take a picture of what we were trying to achieve-an eventual top knot. As you can see from his before and after, his hair on his ears and head are cut way to short. I'm really disappointed in the cut. It doesn't look well groomed except for his tail. I won't go back.

My dog needed an antibiotic and when I came to pick it up it was in liquid form and really expensive. Without me having to ask, the girl at the front desk asked the vet if they could switch it to tablets which was way cheaper and way easier for my dog to take. I was so impressed and happy with how it was handled and happy that I didn't have to pay extra. I believe her name is Raven, she was working the front desk and helped with switching the meds. I told her I was heading to an appointment and would have to come back to pick up the meds. She sent me a text to let me know that the meds were able to be switched to tablets and that they were ready to be picked up.

I had a stroke and then I was homebound so I had to use the mobile unit for a few years well last year while here on a home visit, something happened to my dog in that truck.she's not the same dog and she does not trust me. She does not trust Petwow anymore. I had to move her to a different vet. Because when I take her there, they have to sedate her to even examine her and I'm not doing that to her anymore She's 10 years old something happened. I don't know what because I wasn't there but my dogs actions prove that something happened to her she's generally a very sweet girl and she is not because of this she doesn't trust me anymore either so it's been difficult. Her personality change is very hard to accept. Anyway, I hope whatever happened to my dog doesn't happen to anyone else. Have a great day.
