We noted to him that we called ahead, informed them what we were getting, and was told to come now.Living 15 minutes away, that is what we did. There was a lot of back and forth with the older sister ( maybe Helen?) in which she spoke in Vietnamese stating that we never mentioned the gel manicure which we did. I then waited half an hour to be sat to possibly get my nails done. The older sister was supposed to get my gel manicure done quickly but got loud and rude as she realized that I had gel on and it was not taken off yet. Her demeanor continued as she constantly pushed Daniel around and even her mother. Her mother sat down to get my manicure done which was only right since I had waited for over an hour. She continued to express to her mother that she should have did the acrylic instead and let me wait. Her mother then raised her voice and stated that she keeps saying it but she's still sitting here doing the manicure. Then passed me onto Daniel to finish off. Daniel has a good mentality and attitude but is still learning. Overall, my nails were nice in terms of the manicure sense but lacked top coat strongly which made it come out streaky. Le did my mother in law's nails. He was quick but efficient. He took his time where it mattered most such as massaging and more. He did an amazing job with her nails and was hilarious ! He called his fan an ac as a joke and was social with his customer. Lastly, the older male in glasses. He did my sister in laws nails. He was EXTREMELY nice and efficient. He made sure that there was no room for imperfection! Pricing was ridiculous! I paid over 150 for two pedicures(27 each), acrylic fill with gel polish, a gel manicure (30), and a color change... She explained how to care for my lashes, what would be required in terms of a next visit and while the procedure took a little longer than expected it was an amazing result. I returned last night for a different procedure. This time it was for a lash lift and tint, shorter in time and different but Karina was still great. She made sure that the results would speak for themselves and that everything was done right. The owner was very sweet and remembered me and made a point to say hello. A super pretty, very girlie (yes I love it) place to get some pampering done. Hoping to be able to try some of their spa services soon. This place is coming along nicely, give it a shot!

My old salon, Cherry Lash Lounge, was the best. I would go in, sit in my comfy chair and fall asleep. The process was easy and painless. Scarletts has a lot going for it. The salon is nice and clean, but I miss those comfy recliners from Cherry. My back was killing me laying on that flat table and it was cold. 30 minutes in, I was done. The glue they use here is super strong. My eyes were watering for a while from the sting. That has never happened to me before. The tape they use is also kind of tough to get off. Again, I never had this issue before. The lashes themselves looked good when Karina was done, but the irritation lasted for a few days where my eyes would just water. I want to give this place another shot because so far I've lost minimal lashes in 2 weeks. But I'm not sure I can overlook everything it took to get here. My advice, get comfy recliners and blankets for clients with 2 hour appointments. A different glue would have me giving this review way higher marks. The burning is no good. *****UPDATE****** I decided to give Scarlett's Lash Lounge another shot and I'm glad I did. Karina and I talked about the issues I had with my lashes and found a solution for the tape and the burning. The table is still, not my favorite, but Karina does a great job so I'm willing to just put a pillow under my back (I would still suggest investing in a recliner. When I went to pay, she hovered over me to see how much of a tip I was going to give her, which was uncomfortable and somewhat ridiculous, given the circumstances. I will note that I paid for the service- I didn't want to be accused of leaving without paying for that service. I believe that a business should take responsibility for any damage caused to a customer's belongings while on the premises. Had the technician taken responsibility and offered to compensate me for the damage, I would have been satisfied. I'm really very disappointed.
