I got a Groupon for my husband to try cryotherapy out as a present for his birthday last year and…read moreit was about to expire in November 2021. So I tried to reach out through e-mail and it took a couple of days before I was able to get an answer. As we exchanged e-mails to set up an appointment I thought I had already set up a date and time since I didn't get a response back after my last e-mail. So I take my husband on the day and time that i thought was scheduled. But when we got there it looked like the shop was closed. Luckily we saw that someone was there and it happened to be Carlita and we talked about what happened and the miscommunication. I understand that there were some serious family stuff going on and she was very nice about setting up another date and time for the cryotherapy and massage. She was also very nice and told us not to worry about the Groupon that was about to expire. Unfortunately, my husband who's in the military, couldn't make it to the booked appointment so we had to cancel and tried to figure out another time that he could come because he got really busy at work. But then it was really difficult to set up an appointment and we were also very confused at how it worked. We didn't realize that the cryotherapy and the massage were 2 totally different appointments. We thought that once you book for the cryotherapy then you would get the massage right after. I kept trying to reach out and send e-mails again and text messages but it took awhile again to get any response. After trying for a long time e-mailing and leaving messages through their website I thought I should try to e-mail the confirmation e-mail. After months of trying I was able to reach out mid February to Ms. Robinson, who does the cryotherapy and set up an appointment with her within a couple of days. My husband thought it was a cool experience and liked it. But I was shocked when he came back home so quickly. He has told me that it was only the cryotherapy at that time and that we had to set up a different appointment for the massage. So I tried and tried again to send messages on their website and couldn't get a hold of anyone. Tried to e-mail Ms. Robinson to ask who and how we can set up an appointment and she responded within reasonable time. But after that we still haven't been able to get my husband's massage. Honestly, I think it's an awesome business and Carlita is so sweet, nice, and accommodating. Ms. Robinson was also quick at responding back. But it would be nice if there's a better way for people to reach out to the business and easily make appointments and schedules. I had a very difficult time trying to figure out who I'm suppose to contact. Also no one responds to the messages that I left through the website. It's one of those pages where you can leave your name, e-mail, I think your phone number, and your message. Luckily, I already got an e-mail before from the previous appointment. But even then I wasn't sure if I could send a message back to that e-mail. For other people who only has the website and didn't get a chance to run into Carlita like us, it would be very hard to set up an appointment. Still kinda sad that it took so long just to get the cryotherapy done and the massage was supposed to be a different appointment. I was looking forward to my husband getting his well deserved massage but he never got it. :( 3 stars for how nice And accommodating Carlita and Ms. Robinson and that my husband thought that the cryotherapy session was cool. But I cannot add anymore to my rating because it was so hard to reach out and get in contact with someone and my husband never got his massage.

I scheduled a post operative lymphatic drainage massage expecting professional, knowledgeable care during an important stage of my recovery. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that expectation. My appointment was originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m., but I was asked to come at 12:00 p.m. instead. Then, at 12:00 p.m., I received a text explaining that my appointment would be delayed because her previous client's faja was so tight that it was taking longer to get her back into it. That immediately made me uncomfortable because I didn't feel another client's treatment should have been discussed with me. Once the massage began, there were several things that concerned me. Her hair was half up, half down and repeatedly dragged across my bare back throughout the massage. While this may seem minor to some, I had fresh surgical incisions, and I expected a higher standard of sanitation and professionalism during my post operative care. At one point, her cell phone rang in the middle of my massage, and she actually started to answer it. I had to stop and ask, "Do you want me to answer it for you? I can put it on speaker." She responded, "Oh no, it's just unfortunate. Every time I start a massage, all my family members start calling me." I was shocked that answering a personal phone call during a client's treatment even seemed like an option. The most disappointing part was that she left me in the middle of my massage to go next door and apply numbing cream to another client who was there for a tattoo removal procedure. My appointment was supposed to be a full 60 minutes, but because it started late, was interrupted to service another client, and ended at approximately 1:17 p.m., I did not receive the full hour of treatment that I paid for. As a paying client recovering from surgery, I did not expect my appointment to be interrupted so another client could be treated. Another thing that immediately stood out was that I was handed brown paper towels to wipe my body after the massage, despite having fresh, open surgical incisions. As someone recovering from surgery, I expected clean, appropriate materials to be provided. That also made me question the sanitation practices being used. Most importantly, I left my appointment feeling worse than I did before I arrived. Afterward, I sought treatment from a licensed lymphatic drainage massage therapist. During my very first session, she was able to drain a significant amount of retained fluid that had not been released previously. Since switching therapist, my recovery has improved dramatically, and I've experienced consistent drainage and relief after every visit. The difference has been night and day. My concerns about professionalism didn't end there. During my appointment, she also shared personal information about her previous client with me. She shared with me that the woman had ribs removed, had extensive work done, that her clients husband joins her at every appointment and that he was very supportive. This being the same client, she was just previously texting me about saying that her faja was too tight. Hearing details about someone else's treatment made me question whether my own privacy would be respected. Regardless of the legal requirements, I believe every client deserves confidentiality and professionalism. When I later reached out to express my concerns and request a refund, I was met with defensiveness instead of accountability. There was no genuine concern about why I left feeling worse or why I had to seek treatment elsewhere. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this business for post operative lymphatic drainage massage. When you're recovering from surgery, you need a therapist who is fully present, follows appropriate sanitary practices, respects client confidentiality, and provides the quality care you paid for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I hope sharing this helps others make an informed decision before trusting someone with their recovery.

But fees when the spot was paid for? No thank you. I will not be going back. Update to her response: It was not a membership. I had 3 FULLY PAID for classes that were going to expire at the end of the month. I booked them for that last week. If I cancelled an hour before or was 15 minutes late, that was my spot that I had reserved and paid for. She didn't lose any revenue. I ended up paying for the class PLUS a fee. I wasn't asking for a refund, I wasn't asking for anything. But I didn't appreciate the additional fee. On top of all of this, the place is always empty! Not any excuse but I actually had a medical emergency. I will now change to 1 star, horrible customer service
