Walked out of Natalia Wolf studio and after only 10 minutes, my lashes started to curl and twist in on themselves like this. I've gotten lash lifts before and this is the first time something like this has ever happened They look like they're literally turning into an S-shape as I write. Incredibly disappointing for a $150 service. Edit: Natalia reached out to me and offered to fix them. They are no longer curling in on themselves, but the ends are still somewhat twisted. read more

This was my second lash lift here and I was pleased with my first time so I was hoping for the same results. I had a different lash tech this time and she was very nice but might have had a different technique. I was hoping for a straight, long lash lift but came out with curled lashes that almost touched my eyelids. The studio was clean and comfortable but was just hoping for the same lift as last time. The studio is located in the Woodbury plaza, which parking can be a pain -- but convenient to run errands or to Trader Joe's afterwards. I've been getting lash lifts with Natalia for over a year and always leave happy with the results. Natalia and Mary are wonderful at their craft! I have shorter Asian lashes, which don't hold the best curls naturally -- but getting lash lifts has transform my lashes and it lasts much longer than lash extensions. Natalia is amazing! The space is clean and she is super kind and respectful. The reservation can be made online and it's very easy. My eyelashes are pretty short, but even with the lash life and tint ($70), it makes a visible difference. It also makes putting on mascara easier because I don't need to curl my lashes anymore. She's really meticulous with her craft and I left with great results. Will definitely come back to her in the future as the perm lasts for 2 ish month. read more

Marina did my lash lift for me, and result was wonderful! I actually had to reschedule my appointment because I missed my first appointment with Marina, but she was still extremely kind and patient with me. She also had drinks that she gave out for free, and there was music playing for a more comfortable and ambient experience. Marina also asked about my preferences and because I said I wasn't sure, she recommended the medium lift. Had a great experience! I was a little lost at first thinking I went to the wrong place but she is temporarily working from home until she gets a space for her business which I totally understand. got a lash lift/tint and brow lamination. pretty bummed since this place has great reviews. I left with shockingly dark, thick brows but tried to trust the process. however, my eyebrows are now dry and frazzled. they are bent and breaking at the bend, and falling out when I use a spoolie despite generously hydrating and conditioning constantly. the hairs do not stay in place and feel crunchy. the lash lift is fine although there is some gapping (she did say this may be because I used to curl my lashes daily before the lift). still, I had higher expectations. zayn was very sweet but I'm too scared to ever get a brow lamination again read more

I highly recommend you check out Natalia! I booked an appointment only one day before on her website, and it was super easy. Her salon studio in Irvine is very nice, and the $99 brow lamination and lash lift deal is great. The whole process took less than 1 hour, and I was very pleased with the results! I've never been able to comb my brows up...even with hair gel. Now I can tame and style them with ease. My lashes have also never looked better. The Sola Salon easy to find (next to Trader Joe's) and parking was fine. Got the lash line tatoo, SOOO HAPPY! Easy and painless (with numbing gel of course). Also got Keritin lash lift (I'm Asian and have very short lashes that have zero curl) they look good but then anything helps! I called in a crisis, I had my lashes permed at a nearby salon and did not like the results. They were WAY too curled. I tried to leave them alone but I was headed on a trip so I had to see if anything could be done. Natalia answered my call and even took me on her day off. I came to Natalia for my first ever brow lamination and lash lift and honestly LOVED the results. I was a little nervous about how they would turn out and how long it would last at first, but was pleasantly surprised by how great the results were. My lashes were really separated and long after the lift and it definitely lasted over 4 weeks. My brow lamination also made my brows look really full and lasted about 4 weeks. I have been to this studio a couple of times, but this last visit was really disappointing. I did a keratin lash lift and tint and feel like you cannot tell that I did anything. Usually, it is pretty dramatic, especially for the first couple of days. But this time, even my daughter could not tell that I had anything done to my lashes. Cleo was very nice and informative. She really took her time and was very precise. I did not feel like the service was rushed at all and everything seemed super sanitary. Cleo went over everything with my husband and me, we selected the earrings we wanted (14k gold with Swarovski crystal), and signed forms. She numbed my daughter's ear with topical numbing. Once numbing was done, she measured both ears and marked the spot she was going to pierce. My baby cried when she got the piercing (expected), but settled pretty quickly after. We gave her a bottle of milk immediately after and she was okay. She did end up waking up a bit more that night, I'm sure because her ears felt warm or were sore, but by morning she was back to normal! We clean her ears twice a day and so far her ears are healing well! *knock on wood* Overall, I was happy with the experience and feel it was the best that it could be.

My mom has had permanent brows as long as I can remember. She said it helped with her morning…read moreroutine but as she aged, those brows kind of became bluish grey blocks and I swore to myself that I did not want to do that to my face. Well, with the trend of thin brows of the 90s and early aughts, which clearly did a number on my own brows. Apparently, hair does not always grow back the way you want it to. Take that as a lesson and try to shape not overpluck. I had been letting my brows grow in and just drawing them in all this time. I had looked into permanent brows and microblading for a long time but never did it due to cost and upkeep. Anyway, with hormonal shifts and passing time, my brows have been looking sparse these last few years. Drawing in and powdering my brows in the morning takes longer than I would prefer. I did a deep dive into microblading and nano-blading, weighing the pros and cons. I settled upon a few permanent make-up artists in the area and reached out to them. It was time for me to take charge of my morning routine. Saena Kim has a robust repertoire on Yelp and Instagram so I reached out to her. Making an appointment was easy as she utilizes an online booking system. The consultation is $50 and goes towards your procedure if you choose to continue with her. With my oily skin, I knew that most PMA would suggest combination powder brows, but she suggested nano brows that are machine assisted. I trusted her with literally tattooing my face, so I went with her suggestion after voicing my concerns. I asked about the inks, she used (which are inorganic). I asked about her experience with nano brows (4+ years). I asked about the numbing prior to the procedure (topically applied). My appointment from start to finish was about an hour and a half. She took the time to shape my brows, get feedback from me, and went to work with her machine. My pain was minimal; I might have fallen asleep. She has offered microblading services for years. She also offers lash extensions, brow lamination, brow correction, and lip blush too. She rents a space inside Sola Salons in the Woodbury Town Center. It's a small, cute space with feminine details and bright lighting. There are other beauty services offered inside the salon as well, just know where you need to go. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I will be back in a few weeks for a touch-up session but so far my brows have been looking more shapely than ever before. The brows are healing nicely and I will post an update with side-by-side images, when all is said and done. Thanks Saena for giving my brows new life!

On my second visit, though, I had a very uncomfortable experience. The technician kept telling me to be completely still, especially when I looked away briefly or made slight movements while I was trying to cooperate. Instead of calm guidance, she became visibly upset, and the tone of the "be still" reminders felt aggressive and repetitive. What made it worse was the physical handling. She repeatedly grabbed/touched my hands and arms to position me, and it felt forceful and uncomfortable rather than careful. I also had hygiene concerns. The table/workstation I was seated at appeared dirty, and a tool she used did not appear sealed when it was taken out. She said it was sterilized, but there were several sealed/packaged items visible nearby, and her explanation didn't match what I saw.
