Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. (I just found out I have Covid). I attempted to reschedule through Vagaro, but because my appointment was less than six hours away, the system would not allow me to do so. I called the salon and was informed by a staff member that I would be charged a $10 cancellation fee despite being sick and wanting to reschedule rather than cancel outright. Since my service was only an underarm wax, the fee amounted to approximately 40% of the total service cost. I asked whether an exception could be made given the circumstances, but was told it was the "manager's policy." The response felt very scripted and lacked any empathy for the situation. I ultimately agreed to pay the fee, but asked that the manager be informed they had lost a customer over $10. Unfortunately, the experience became even more disappointing. The manager, Sarah, called me after I had already explained that I was sick and wanted to discuss the situation. I was really not feeling well and did not appreciate receiving a call to discuss this further. I told the manager that, because I wasn't feeling well, the only discussion I was interested in having was whether the cancellation fee would be refunded. Instead of addressing my concern, Sarah ended the call abruptly by HANGING UP ON ME. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, but customer service and compassion matter. A little flexibility for a client who woke up sick and was trying to reschedule, not avoid paying, would have gone a long way. Instead, I was charged a fee that represented a significant portion of the service cost and was treated in a way that ensured I won't be returning. If you book here, just be aware that if you wake up sick on the day of your appointment, you should expect the cancellation fee to be enforced regardless of the circumstances.

But I wasn't expecting a full recovery after a 60 minute sessions so I didn't mind. I appreciated that she really tried using pressure on the back by literally using her entire body weight, because most of the massage therapists I get are significantly lighter than me, so I don't really feel much when they try to get the knots out. That being said, it would be nice to have an option online for a male therapist as I could have used more pressure on my back. The portion where you can book with certain staff members are only labeled as 'Therapist' for all the options. I understand from a privacy-focused perspective why they'd do that, but I never know who I' getting when I book with them. Decent service, would come back again if needed.
