As others have said, Crystal normalizes the entire experience of waxing, which, let's face it, can feel pretty awkward. Crystal is a professional and makes every effort to reduce the pain, checking in throughout the process. With time, I've had body parts waxed that I was initially too embarrassed to admit needed waxing. For example, my nose. Haha! Crystal and Alison; they are both so awesome! I love that the place is close to me. There are a lot of parking spaces. Crystal make you feel so comfortable when you go in for first time for anything. Her service is 5 stars. Her store is 5 stars cute with decorations. Hard wax greater than cloth waxing!!! I followed Alisa from EWC in Seal Beach all the way to this place in Fullerton (not crazy far, but still... with all that's available these days, if I'm traveling anywhere not local to me, you know it's worth it!). Alisa has been my waxer for a few years now and she is amazing! So personable, professional, and FUN! Who else would describe anything having to do with their Brazilian as fun? But it's true! Wax Off is a cute and cool little joint. Loved all the decor and the space is clean (a must!) and inviting, in a way that's different than all the chains out there. This is not a chain, btw but a woman owned and operated small business (woo!). I haven't met the owner yet, but when I called to schedule she was very prompt in returning my call (much appreciated!). This is the second time I had gotten waxed from a professional place. The first time was not a great experience and had put me off booking another appointment. Crystal is amazing! Today was my first time for a bikini wax, which honestly did not hurt as bad as I thought. It was also my first experience with hard wax, which I LOVED! I love that Crystal was so clean, using fresh wax, a different stick every time, fresh gloves when one was removed, sanitizer for all utensils etc. She is also meticulous about getting those stubborn hairs that won't come up the first time. Not only would she do a clean up by waxing again, but would search and pluck any strands with tweezers. I love that she had me check as well; that speaks volumes of her level of customer service! I was nervous about this awkward experience, but I was made very comfortable, and will be going back. I HIGHLY recommend her! Always go to someone who has a PASSION for what they do!
