I scheduled an underarm wax appointment, but unfortunately woke up the morning of my appointment feeling ill. The clinician called me to ask if I could come in early and I said yes hoping to be feeling better but as I began to work on some things at home I felt worse and worse. (I just found out I have Covid). I attempted to reschedule through Vagaro, but because my appointment was less than six hours away, the system would not allow me to do so. I called the salon and was informed by a staff member that I would be charged a $10 cancellation fee despite being sick and wanting to reschedule rather than cancel outright. Since my service was only an underarm wax, the fee amounted to approximately 40% of the total service cost. I asked whether an exception could be made given the circumstances, but was told it was the "manager's policy." The response felt very scripted and lacked any empathy for the situation. I ultimately agreed to pay the fee, but asked that the manager be informed they had lost a customer over $10. Unfortunately, the experience became even more disappointing. The manager, Sarah, called me after I had already explained that I was sick and wanted to discuss the situation. I was really not feeling well and did not appreciate receiving a call to discuss this further. I told the manager that, because I wasn't feeling well, the only discussion I was interested in having was whether the cancellation fee would be refunded. Instead of addressing my concern, Sarah ended the call abruptly by HANGING UP ON ME. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, but customer service and compassion matter. A little flexibility for a client who woke up sick and was trying to reschedule, not avoid paying, would have gone a long way. Instead, I was charged a fee that represented a significant portion of the service cost and was treated in a way that ensured I won't be returning. If you book here, just be aware that if you wake up sick on the day of your appointment, you should expect the cancellation fee to be enforced regardless of the circumstances. read more

I was very pregnant going in and so expected my Brazilian to be painful cause it's super sensitive down there when pregnant. But it was quite pleasant and not painful at all! A friend of mine referred me to this place. Before today, I'd normally get my waxing done at European Wax Center. But after my appointment today with Aly, I don't think I'm ever returning to European Wax Center. Aly was extremely knowledgeable/informative about the whole process, clearly explaining the benefits of sugaring over waxing. She was also extraordinarily considerate, often asking if I was doing okay after every pull. Never have I ever had a more relaxing brazilian/underarms/nose/ears/facial hair removal procedure than today. This is definitely my new go-to place from now on. read more

The woman at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. Although, the woman who did my Brazilian wax was very rude. It was practically my first time getting this done and it was very painful. She made me feel bad about it. And she made the comment, "If you don't go through with it you're still getting charged." It was not cheap, and I feel your waxer should make you feel comfortable when you are getting this done. I don't remember her name, this was a while ago but she was brunette and curvy. I was in need of a last minute sugaring so I came by to get my underarms and eyebrows done. Thankfully, they still had some appointments on a Friday night. Sereena was my sugarista and she really impressed me. Most people clean my brows and leave them thin trying to shape them. Not Sereena. She waxed my brows in a way that compliments my face shape but also left a little more hair than usual. She explained that this way my eyebrows would look fuller and effectively train them to grow back into a more natural shape. At first, I was iffy but you could tell she knew what she was doing! I was pleasantly surprised at how naturally full they looked! It's such a nice change because I felt that my brows were only getting thinner, which terrified me. I'm so happy I found Sereena, my new go-to brow sugarista! I can't thank her enough for making me feel like myself again. When everything nonessential got shut down, I came to the realization that everything I loved was apparently nonessential. As things begin to safely reopening, one of my top priorities was to get WAXED!! I have been waxing monthly since 2012 cause I really enjoy being soft and smooth. I am so excited I got in touch with Sarah who was able to book me for a Clean as a Whistle ($65). Woo hoo!! Appointments highly recommended especially with all of the extra Covid protocols these days for extra time in between for staff to clean. Eve and Adam is such a cute spot. Super cute waiting room with coffee and tea for the guests while waiting. I really loved everything about this place. Sarah took me back to her wax room, also cute, and she gave me some time to get comfy on the wax bed and there was a towel for me to cover myself up so I'm not cold. So thoughtful. So previously, I have experienced hard wax, which is nice since no strips are required to remove. However this is the first time I have been waxed with sugar wax. It is mixed with sugar, honey and lemon. It is all natural. During the process, Sarah was really thoughtful and she explained to me everything she was doing. It was all very reassuring since this is my first visit. At the end, she finished the process with a warm towel over the waxed area to sooth it. She gave me a mirror to check and make sure that everything is smooth and flawless. Yay! So after experiencing sugaring, I can say that it actually hurt less than hard wax and strip wax. I don't leave a lot of reviews. Something has to be absolutely amazing or completely awful for me to stop what I'm doing, override the ADHD, and shout-out my opinions to the Yelp void- but this is one of those times. First of all, I realized on a whim I needed to get this sugaring done today. Being the last minute person that I am, this burns me a lot as, ya know, appointments are a thing and most places are booked on weekends (and in general, I guess normal people plan ahead??) I called- Sarah answered and confirmed she could squeeze me in. Amazing, she even called me right back to let me know I could even come sooner. Now- I could tell from just those phone calls alone that Sarah is a warm, outgoing person, who could make anyone feel comfortable. What I didn't expect was to immediately feel like I've known her for years as soon as I walked in the door. For the details you probably actually care about: The studio is adorable and clean, smells incredible, and the rooms are cozy enough to forget you're about to bare it all to a complete stranger. Sarah was quick but thorough- clearly she knows what she's doing. She's a fantastic conversationalist, and I was honestly ALMOST a little disappointed it was over so fast (you know, minus the discomfort of hair being ripped from...a sensitive place) because I was really enjoying our conversation. They have available hours for everyone's schedules - open until 9pm during the week! And they really work to accommodate and get you in when it works best for you. This was my first time, but absolutely will not be the last. Seriously, ditch the Groupon places- the $30 you save from most of those places isn't worth the quality you lose in the job done. I've always been so curious about sugaring! I've heard all about it and the part that intrigued me the most was that it was healthier with better results compared to waxing. I was so worried and nervous about the pain but KARINA helped me through it! Definitely not awkward at all as I thought it'd be! . She helped me steer away from the pain and nervousness by just talking. Literally felt like we've been friends forever. She would tell me when to breathe which was extremely helpful. Trust me. You're gonna need deep breaths for this. I'm not going to lie it was really painful the first time, only because it rips the root out which results in thin hair when it grows back. It took me over a month for my hair to grow back and it was only sporadically. The pain is worth it. My cousin experienced hardly any pain at all! I guess it just depends on your tolerance and thickness of the hair. If KARINA doesn't get all the hair with the sugar she goes in with the tweezers to make sure you're squeaky clean! Results: AMAZING! I've been back a few times and each time it's less painful than the last!!!! And THERE'S LESS HAIR! Eventually there will be none at all and I'm so excited. First time can take up to 30-40 min. Second time and time after that takes up to 15-20, If not less!! It is a little pricey which is why I did a 4 Star but their service and cleanliness is definitely a 5 STAR! I've recommended this place to a few people and now I've gotten 5 people to become regulars here! read more

It was a different experience but, as usual, everyone was very friendly and professional. This was my first time trying something with a newbie but she was calm, friendly, and very social. I really appreciated her chattiness because it made my experience better. Although I got a little lost trying to find my way, there's a parking lot in the back, which is good to know. The doorway leads to another where the waiting room is. And it's nicely cool with water in case you need it. The room inside is clean and there is soothing music to compliment the mood. My gal was exceptionally bright, her conversations were informative, and (most of all) she was relatable.
