I just left from there and I must I am disappointed. I took and treated my friend for her birthday and we both left unsatisfied. I got a full set with gel nail polish and it was not very neat (i.e polished left on the sides). Also, he did not clean behind my nails after he "finished" so I had to ask the lady who was doing my pedicure to clean them for me. I gave this place 2 stars because the person who did my pedicure did an okay job, but my polish was a little messy also. Overall I would not recommend this place and it is overpriced. read more

You have to try the cucumber pedicure it is a bit pricey but well worth it. Everybody is polite and friendly.

I give it a two stars only because their brows service was decent. But their nails service was horrible. It was my first time and I had gel manicure done on me. The lady that worked did my nails were inexperienced and unprofessional. I went during lunch and it was nobody there. Anyways, she took less than 30 mins and I felt she rushed thru it. She cut my cuticles so deep that I bled on both hands and she didn't do anything to stop the bleeding. I had to call her out and all she did was put alcohol. She continued on and while she was working on my hands she was also busy talking to her co workers that she didn't pay attention to my fingers. She painted outside my nails and didn't bother to clean around the nails. Lastly, she didnt give me the service I expected esp in the mall it was pretty basic. I will never come back. I normally never complain about their services here. Most of the VETERAN employees are great! Not to mention I always come here on weekends when it's really busy but since I'm on maternity leave, i decided to come on a Tuesday. The wait wasn't bad for both gel manicure & pedicure. Today's service wasn't very satisfying! Considering the guy who was doing my pedicure was in a rush yet hurting me as he was working on my cuticles. Seriously? What's the rush?! There's nobody waiting in line! It only takes that ONE time for me to get unsatisfying service for me not to come back. Not that it matters since they always have new staff come & go anyway. I came this recent sunday to get a full set of nails and my eyebrows arched. I haven't had my nails done in about two months because the last time I had them done was at this same spot and after leaving the salon my nails were burning and itching for up to 3 days. I was in pain and literally felt tortured everyday. I wanted to take the nails off but since they were so new I knew it would've been even more painful. So I was hesitant to get my nails done but I was thinking maybe it as just that one time. I was totally wrong & now I feel stupid because I am back in pain & back scratching my nails like a crazy person. I don't know if they're using too much product on my nails or if its too strong but I feel like Im having an allergic reaction. I will never go here to get my nails done again. Writing this review after my second visit here; I had a perfectly good experience here. The first time I came for gel manicure only, I had a male technician, he did a good job, he wasn't as "pampering" as the ladies, but it was fine. The second visit was better, I had a pedicure and gel manicure, done by ladies. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, there was no wait. The ladies did a very nice job. I did feel bad for the lady doing my manicure, she had to sit on a small stool and a somewhat narrow ledge next to the foot basin, she didn't complain at all, but she didn't look very comfortable. I love that they have Perfect Match here because I like my toes and hands to match. Nice place, clean, organized and they offer you beverages upon your arrival. It's in the mall, so it also has those great mall hours (open later than other nail salons). read more

I have tried this place a few times. Each time I had a fill and pedicure. I've had different people provide the service each time. None of them made more than a minimal attempt to smooth my dry heels even when I ask them to try to file off some of the dry skin. I had a fill with gel polish on my nails 2 days ago. The polish has chipped. They charge extra for every thing including to fix one nail and cut nails shorter. They charge too much for gel polish especially when it must be a cheap product since it chipped after 2 days. read more

I went in on Friday for my lunch break and got a manicure with Gel polish, for a bridal shower the next day. By Saturday the polish began to chip on two nails. Since I help host the shower there was no time to go back to the salon to have the fix it. I was not able to go in on Sunday or Monday due to family engagements. By today (Tuesday) ALL my nails are chipped. I have not done anything strenuous. This is ridiculous. Almost $30 spent on gel polish and manicure and my nails look like who dun it and why? **I only received a pedicure so that's what my review is based on** Came here on a Thursday, not terribly busy but I wasn't waiting either. The gentleman who greeted me was very nice (cute too so that's kind of a plus lol). They have a wide variety of colors to chose from, both regular and gel. The lady that did my pedicure was very pleasant, she was a little rough with my nails but they still turned out very nice. The pedicure area was very relaxing, the benches are a nice feature (as opposed to most nail salons that have those terrible massage chairs) but it would be nice if they added a few pillows for extra comfort. I like it here because it is a one stop shop for cosmetic needs. I can get my mani, pedi, threading, waxing, etc. all done in one location. The only botch that I noticed in this otherwise gorgeous salon is that you cannot hook up your ear buds to the the complimentary Ipads. So I can view netflix but I can't hear it? Also, at least turn the subtitles on on the flat screens so that people can follow what they are watching on the screen. Lastly, COME EARLY! The wait time is killer! They may say 15 min but plan on waiting as least an hour or two if it is obviously full. read more

Used to get my brows threaded here biweekly but I had to stop. I went from lady to lady hoping to find a diamond in the middle of the mall but each one messed me up. First it was just weird shaping but the straw that broke the camels back was when i was given two VERY different eyebrows. One was round and the other was square with a strong arch. It was TRAGIC! After coming here for a normal mani & pedi a few times I've decided that this place provides mediocre nail service. I really tried to give them a chance because they're local, but I cherish my nails and the me time I get to spend at the spa/salon too much to look past skimpy service. The technicians seem to be inexperienced and there's ALWAYS new staff. No one stays long. I come here when I'm short on time and can not make it to my normal nail spas in Redondo Beach(Happy Nails Spa & Lux Nails) the technicians here just rush through and do a half job. Polish isn't even applied neatly unless you say something. I won't be coming back no matter how crunched for time I am. Also, the short guy at the register is VERY RUDE. It's so unfortunate that such a beautifully decorated establishment has such horrible customer service. This is the 2nd time I've come into BLS beauty Lounge to get a pedicure and I've been left soaking my feet for 20 minutes. If the person working on my feet is currently working on someone else "Just Tell Me & How Long "!!! Is being informed too much for them to understand in the front. I just don't get it. It's mainly the lady with the silver ombré in her hair. Just learn how to communicate. It's very frustrating and honestly this is my last time coming here. read more

This place is really bad came in at 2 and my feet were just soaking for 45 minutes they need to get it together because I didn't wanna walk out with raisin feet. Anyways the girl with the short ombré hair and the Latina lady are really nice kept making sure my water was warm and I had water to drink and Christine was so polite and apologized for the wait. I had my nails and feet done. They are really nice and welcoming. I really wish they would explain pricing prior to services. I did not ask for help nails and they gave me gel nails over a week and 3 days ago. My nails looked nice but. fell off after 1 week and 3 days. I also had a pedicure along with my daughter. My ingrown toenails were not removed and the nail polish chipped on my toes. for 89.00 not including tip, i expect long lasting results. they don't let you tip with your card. for prices being high, let the quality show and last. please take this in consideration so someone could come back. read more
