If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came in for a nail removal and had a very disappointing experience. The nail technician was extremely rough throughout the process. She repeatedly cut my cuticles with the drill, causing them to bleed, and attempted to remove my set using a nail tip before doing a soak-off. Because my nails were not lifting easily, my natural nail cracked and broke during the removal. What concerned me most was that my skin and natural nail were damaged to the point of bleeding, and the area underneath my nail became exposed. She then applied KDS nail glue to the area and continued with the service. The entire appointment felt rushed and careless. I left with bleeding cuticles, a broken natural nail, polish on my skin, and pain that lasted for days afterward. I paid $65 and was so unhappy with the result that I removed the design myself and cut my nails down shortly after. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I left disappointed with both the quality of the service and the condition of my nails. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon. read more

My mom requested a French manicure but she has a Bruce in one of her fingers and we asked if she can put a darker under coat and then the French line and her solution was to paint thhe whole nail. Walk-ins are welcomed but prepare for a wait (in some cases on the weekend their estimated 1 hour wait will even be 2 hours while they take people who went after you even though they told you to put your number down). Read through reviews to find a particular nail tech that you want to try then reserve an appointment with them if you want to get a certain look. Otherwise it might be a hit or miss with a nail tech when you choose a design and service. Come with an open mind , there will be language barriers. I've had 3 positive experiences to one bad; thus, 3 stars. I got a pedicure. Made an appointment, still had to wait 30 additional minutes--then 10 minutes in the chair awaiting a nail tech. A guy comes over, doesn't say hello or introduce himself. I say, "Good morning," to his, "Just a pedicure?" He never asked me which service, so I said, "The $20." He proceeded. He asked if I wanted a callous removal, to which I affirmed. Chile, my heels feel rougher now than when I went in. He sprayed something on the bottom of my feet then stuck a paper towel to it for a minute or so, then filed a bit. Of course my feet had been soaking, so I was none the wiser. When I go to pay, the cashier says $27. Why? I might as well had gotten the $30 all-encompassing treatment. I gave them time to rectify. Nearly $30 for a polish (no cut) and rough heels? Two weeks later I had my fill done by Kayla and again, my nails hurt like hell with some minor nicks around the cuticles. Called to schedule my 3rd fill and spoke with Nicole. I told Nicole I want someone other than Kayla to do my fill. I was told no one else was there to do it. The other person was on vacation. After looking for the right place to get my toes cleaned up, I came across this place located in front of the Galleria Mall in Carson. Scheduled my appointment at 12 PM and was seated quickly. I was however waiting for my service 25 minutes until a technician became available. Came in the Tuesday before Thanksgiving I called and asked rates ($33/gel pedi) and if any appt available for a gel pedi. They said I could come right away no wait. I arrived within 10 minutes and was seated right away. The technician (Lala) was so meticulous when she started shaping my nails that I upgraded my service (Silver package, $43) She was very thorough and quick. Saw on the yelp page that walk-ins were available and decided to go here for the first time. I came in with my uncle an hour after opening and the manager (I'm assuming) said it was gonna be a one hour wait. No problem. She penciled us in and we went roaming around the mall across the street. Came back an hour later and we were both seated promptly. We both got the silver pedicure package -- which included a scrub, massage, and polish. It was nice at first and we both had really nice people helping us. Place looked really clean and there were a plethora of polishes to choose from. What I'm not happy with are the cuts I got (yes, plural). On my right foot, I got two big cuts on the big toe on top and bottom as well as on the top of my nail on the middle toe. Then also all along one side of the big toe on my left foot. I've been nicked before from other places, but just one small one. These are pretty big and didn't start hurting til later on when I would walk more. Super bummed about this place because I know of people who come here a lot and praised it, but the amount and depth of cuts I got are unacceptable. Kept it at 2 stars just because of how nice the staff was taking us in at the last minute. got a gel-x set by owner nicole , didn't pay much attention to the finished set, the next day i realized that one hand was way longer then the other set of nails. Called in spoke to nicole who told me to go in to fix the nails , when i showed up she said ok but had me wait for a while which at that point i told her i had to go back to work and can come back . I couldn't make it back with my busy schedule until today , nicole was off , but the other owner was there , she didn't help me and made one of her people help me , I'm happy with the new set now that this lady did for me but upset the owner took no accountability , could not help me and still charged me full price for my new set . I was walking around with 2 different sets due to length on each and for a week and a half looking crazy, the least she could have offered was a discount . I am loyal and come to this shop all the time , but this will be the last time. If you would have done the nail set like i paid you to the first time I wouldn't have to waste more time. It's customer service. Not sure why i have to pay for your mistakes . On top of all that you are badly informed . I had no issue keeping the same set and told Mina about the issue and how i preferred keeping the longer nails then the short ones. she then made someone else help me and they started to take the long side off and I told her no i told her i wanted the longer set so she decided to just take them both off . Again not my mistake . I have limited time and was in your shop for 1:30 minutes and you had me waiting 15-20 minutes when i went to show you the nails, you didn't act like you really cared and told me what days work for you . key word YOU , I have 2 kids ; work full time and am a student . My time is limited as i'm sure many of your customers time is. I refuse to waste it waiting for you to give a care . If you are saying anyone could help me you should've let them help me instead of making me wait on you again . First time at this salon. On a Sunday when many salons are not open. The staff was very nice and there was a noticeable effort to be organized. But... I called several times from 10am to 11am to make an appointment, but no one answered. I walked in at 11 and was put on the list for a 12pm slot, requesting a hard gel set. I was told that they don't have hard gel but can do clear acrylic. Fine. My biggest concern was my cracked toenail. I left to run an errand and was called by the salon letting me know that the technician was currently available (11:30am). I got back at 11:50am and requested the clear acrylic we'd spoken of earlier in an almond shape with color French tip and showed an example picture asking if the technician could achieve this. TECHNICIAN: "Yes I can do this, but with dip powder because it looks more natural" ***TAKE NOTE*** At this point and further I should have continually inquired about prices. FAIL. Fast forward --- I left at 2:50pm (almost 3 hours) and paid $96 + tip (yes I still tipped b/c I'm not raggedy). Why 2 stars you ask? - I had to keep telling her to adjust the nail shape to almond b/c she kept giving me a sharp stiletto shape. - the grainy look of the clear powder is unflattering especially considering I'd asked for clear hard gel and was offered the close clear acrylic and have never used clear powder .... she's the professional and I trusted her opinion. Shame on me. - the nails are poorly shaped and the French tip lines are equally sad - throughout the process she never sprayed or washed my hands, just brushed away the excess powder, leaving my nails and cuticles looking dry and unkept (today, like after bathing and moisturizing a couple times daily... just doesn't look like my nails were handled by a professional) This is a lot but I'm thorough ...
