I met with Jessa for a consultation, and I was amazed by how incredible my brows looked after she waxed, tweezed, and tinted them. She is so gentle, and I barely felt any discomfort compared to threading or other waxing experiences I've had. My brows have honestly never looked this good. It was a risk since neither of us knew her, but man did that pay off!! Sometimes groupon gives you a lovely surprise! I never had lashes so I shared basically what I was looking for and trusted Aimee to pick the shape and length. She nailed it! I'm still getting compliments on them. And if you've never had lashes- do it! Now! I feel so pretty even when I just wake up. Mine lasted for about 2 weeks before the fill but I was very careful with them. And the cleaner she gives is great; I noticed one reviewer thought the cleaner was a scam to make them fall off but I would bet money that this was user error- you have to be gentle with the brush or else you will pull them off. But the cleaner is important (since you can't use regular soap) and I love that she includes a bottle of it and a brush with your set. And the set with the groupon is individual synthetic mink lashes, just FYI. This is Aimee's apartment but don't let that scare you off. It's adorable and super cool! Very clean and decorated like something from a really hip magazine. Amiee and I chat nonstop- she's good people. Will continue to go back to her!

My appointment was at 430pm on a Wednesday, and I was out and in my car by 5:55pm. Super fast all while having a fun convo as she fab'd up my lashes. I had my lashes done at a different salon just one week earlier, but they were already falling out and needed a touch-up. It was almost 7:00 PM on a Saturday, and I knew I was walking in without an appointment. The moment I walked into Bright Star Lashes, I was warmly greeted by Linda (owner). Even though she and her staff were busy with other clients, she took the time to listen to my situation. She explained that everyone was occupied, but her trainee, Rose, could help me under her guidance. She reassured me that Rose would do a great job and that she would personally check in throughout the appointment. To my surprise, Linda also offered me a $10 discount because Rose was still in training. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and honest, especially since I had walked in without an appointment and they were already doing me a favor by staying late. I am so grateful that Linda and Rose stayed well past their closing time to help me. Their salon closes at 8:00 PM, but they didn't finish until after 9:00 PM. At no point did I feel rushed. Linda repeatedly checked Rose's work, and in the end, she personally finished my lashes to make sure everything looked perfect. They truly took their time and cared about the quality of their work. What impressed me the most wasn't just my beautiful lashes ...it was the kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion Linda showed me. She could have easily asked me to come back another day, especially since I arrived late without an appointment, but instead she went above and beyond to help because I had an important event to attend. The salon is spotless, beautifully organized, and smells amazing. Even the restroom was exceptionally clean. I was there for over two hours, yet I felt comfortable and welcomed the entire time.
